Julian paid rapt attention to every piece of information he was receiving from Eroye with interest.
"After creation, the first Gods seized to exist because humanity had no knowledge of their existence and the laws of existence of Gods rewrote itself as belief of followers."
"Meaning Gods who had no followers and were not remembered would gradually perish ot seize to exist. Those who wished to continue as Gods found ways to be reborn as first generation Gods but unfortunately, just like the primordial Gods, some of the first generation Gods also began to Perish because they were born from faith and humanity began to forget them."
"Others chose to protect their essence and live different lives as mortals whiles others chose to rest in a slumber for millions of years. After the first generation, then came the second generation gods. You may know some of these Gods as Zeus and Odin."
"It was during their era the laws of balance and destruction rewrote itself. Their generation witnessed the second greatest war between heaven and hell causing a near utter destruction of the multiverse. Then from these Gods came the new generation that we have today, like me" Eroye said as he walk towards a black safe box that was a bit bigger than the normal safe box.
"You're not here because of me, you're here because of someone else" Eroye said as he opened the black safe to reveal a giant black orb that radiated black mist and seemed to be alive.
He took out the Orb gently and released his grip and allowed it to float.
"You're here because of an old friend" Eroye said.
"This is my old friend Asvarn, the primordial God of Balance" He added and turned to look at Julian.
The black orb hummed softly as if say "Hi"to the younger boy.
"Now the deal i want to strike with you is to be my subject for a project—"
"The Primordial Project." Eroye said.
"The goal is for you to become Asvarn's follower and he will become your Patron God and then I'll give you a chance to life to begin everything all over again."
"Your belief and memory of him will bring him back to existence as you live on. You may not be able meet him now but one day you will" Eroye finished.
Julian took in a deep breath as he reflected all the information he has just received. Though he didn't know anything about the divine or celestial realm, he had a strong feeling the person in front of him was indeed a God as he claimed to be.
Just within the short time, he had given him more knowledge about things that he believed he couldn't have known if he dedicated his whole life back on earth to study them. And also the things he has done so far was beyond any magic he had seen on earth.
Julian has had his personal share of flaws and regrets in life and getting another chance to correct these mistakes and live life to the fullest was something he would be a fool to reject.
And the fact that this deal would affect his family back on earth convinced him to accept it more than anything. And this time, he swore to live his life to the fullest without regrets.
But again, he knew there was no free lunch in the world because he believed the deal was too good to be true, thus he decided to ask the conditions it came with.
"Do I only need to uhh—worship him and thats it" Julian asked nervously.
"Yes, that's it" Eroye answered.
"You're doing this for him right? So what's in it for you" Julian said as he pointed the floating orb in the distance.
"You really want to know" He asked and Julian nodded.
"I want you to do something for me" he said.
"And that is?" Julian asked.
"I want you to live."
"Live no matter what. Strive to always have life. No matter what you find yourself in, make sure you don't die. Live till there's no more life to live" Elroy said before adding.
"And when you come face to face with death, tell him, not today"
Eroye finished.
"That's it?" Julian asked.
"Yes thats it" he answered.
"And will my sisters and Alexa be safe"
"Yes. In fact I'll throw in a freebie where they never lack anything. You can be sure of that" Eroye answered knowing this was the most important aspect that will compel the latter to accept the deal.
He took in one final deep breath and gave his answer.
"Okay. Let's do it"
Eroye clapped his hands together with a smile plastered on his face.
"You'll not regret this" he said with a smile.
Just then, the single large door of the room opened as a beatiful young lady who seemed the be in her early twenties entered. She had a beautiful smile plastered on her face and a gorgeous figure that made her look like an angel.
Eroye who was closer to Julian used a purification magic on him, bringing him back to his senses before he fell into a trance.
Although the lady was beautiful but it was nothing to a God. But for a mere mortal like Julian, this was a beauty that could bring down nations and empires.
"This is Giselle, my assistant" Elroy said and the young lady extended out her hand towards Julian for a hand shake.
"Nice to meet you Julian" she said with a smile and pulled back turning towards her master with a serious yet beautiful look.
"Did you get it?" Eroye asked
"Yes master"
"Good, you can start" Elroy said and the young lady walked away with a smile.
"That machine over there, is called the Primordial Traveller. It is the machine that will allow you to reincarnate into your next world." Elroy said and pointed towards the giant machine Julian had seen earlier.
Julian nodded in understanding as he appraised the machine.
"You said earlier that a person cannot be reincarnated into their previous world, so is there a chance I will be reincarnated on earth since you are not clearly using the normal reincarnation system" Julian asked.
"Yes. There's a chance" Eroye replied and Julian nodded.
"Out of hundred?" Julian asked with his hands crossed over his chest.
"Five" Eroye added.
"Alright"
"Can we start?" Julian asked.
"Yes, but before that we need to sign an official contract, binding him as your Patron God" Elroy said and took out a white scroll from thin air and a short dagger and handed it Julian.
"Drop your blood on it" he told him
"You mean I shoul…." Julian wanted to protest but before he could do so, he felt a sharp pain as his blood dripped onto the white paper. Elroy took it and went towards the floating orb. He made a small cut on its surface as black mist flew towards the white paper.
A few seconds later, the paper glowed brightly and divided into two. One merged with the floating orb as the other shot towards Julian and merged with his heart signaling the contract has been successfull.
