Chapter 4 - Along With The Gods [Part 2]

Julian who had watched everything unfold walked slowly towards the white bearded man. As he approached him, the man in turn began to walk towards him making him slow down in his tracks.

As the man approached him, his age began to regress at a fast rate changing from the old bearded man, as his black short hair changed into a long blue one.

His white beard disappeared at an instant and his wrinkled face began to smoothen up.

Julian looked around him to see if other people were also seeing what he was seeing but the people around were too focused on setting off to begin their next journey of life and were too busy to notice the changes that was happening. He turned back to look at where the man was standing but came face to face with a teenager making him almost jump out in fright.

Before he could even react to what was happening, everything around him went black instantly before the environment he found himself in earlier changed.

Somewhere Inside The Temple Of The Gods...….

A man dressed in a golden robe adorned with blue stripes with white beard and long black hair stood at the center of the temple with popped out eyes and wide open hanging mouth in disbelief as he stared at the eastern gate of the temple and the people that were flooding inside the temple.

Just then, someone who seemed to be in a hurry bumped into the white bearded man breaking him out of the daze

"Damian? What are you doing here? Are your followers slot filled up? Alright then, see you later" the man said before continuing to run ahead but stopped in his tracks immediately and turned to look at the white bearded man in surprise. "Wait. If you're here, the who permitted the entry?" The man asked with a deep tone of surprise.

"There is only one person that can do this.....that brat….!" the old man cursed internally as realization dawned on him.

Another place inside the divine temple of the Gods...….

"So yeah, this is how you got here"

A handsome teenager with long blue hair and golden eyes said to Julian who had his eyes glued to the large screen on the wall. It was the same teenager he had seen earlier before he appeared in his current place.

"Sorry I couldn't introduce myself earlier, my name is Eroye, the God of Games. or you can call me the copy God. I play both roles perfectly" Eroye introduced himself.

Julian who didn't know how to reply said the only thing the could think of "uhh…I'm Julian, a human" Julian said not knowing how exactly to introduce himself.

"I already know that" Eroye said with a smile.

"So….why am I here and not where you said people reincarnate" Julian asked with a confused look.

"We're actually still in the temple but this my chamber" Elroy replied with a smile while appraising the vast room they were currently in as if to draw the latter's attention to its beauty.

"So why not in the temple where the other people are" Julian asked.

"If I remember correctly, you mention something about us acquiring patron Gods that——" Eroye didn't allow Julian to complete his question before signaling him to halt.

"Julian" Eroye said almost as a sigh, as he walked towards the young man with his hands clasped behind his back

Earlier he had seemed like a normal teenager who couldn't possibly be a God in actual sense, but as he approached Julian, his presence felt heavier and he exuded a heavy aura which Julian couldn't comprehend. Now he looked more than a human even though nothing physical on him has changed.

"There is a reason why you're here with me and not where the others are. And that is because, you can't be there." Eroye said

"You're here because I brought you here" he continued with an indifferent look.

"Umm….why" Julian asked not believing exactly what he was being told.

"That is because you were never meant to be reincarnated. At least not now. The gods of judgment had already decided your ending and that was hell." Eroye said.

At the mention of hell, Julian shuddered as he imagined all that he would have gone through if he had to go to hell.

"Your journey had come to an end and the heavens had decided your place. But you made one last wish of asking for a somebody to save your girlfriend exchange for anything. No matter the price and that is what brought you here" Eroye continued before adding

"So in other words, I'm breaking rules for you to be here"

"Does that mean Alexa is saved? Did she make it?" Julian asked in a hurry forgetting about the mention of hell.

"She can make it—depending on the decision you make here" Elroy said as he turned and walked towards a large emerald door. He pressed his hands over it and chanted a few words. a few seconds later, Julian found himself in a new surrounding that seemed to be like a laboratory.

Different types of machines that Julian didn't know what they were used for stood in the room with some working and others not.

As he appraised the new surrounding, a giant machine that looked like the teleportation machines he had seen in movies back on earth caught his attention.

"I have an offer to make. Something that will benefit both you and I" Eroye said and looked Julian straight up in the face like a father about to instruct his son with something important.

"Umm…let me hear your offer" Julian said giving the younger God the go ahead.

Eroye nodded before starting.

"There are four different types of Gods but the multiverse currently, is aware of only three" Eroye said.

"There are Gods that existed before creation and Gods that came into existence after creation"

"The first war between heaven and hell that occurred millions of years ago were fought by these Gods."

"These Gods were the first pillars of the multiverse called the Primordial Gods"

"You are from earth, so you may know them by civilization as the Greek and Norse Gods. Maybe you may even know a few like Ymir, Chaos, and Fenrir. These were among the first Gods to exist. After the war between heaven and earth then came the first born Gods or the first generation Gods who descended from the Primordial Gods and then came the second generation and the third generation or the younger generation Gods" Eroye continued as Julian listened silently with interest.

This was something he was hearing for the first time and also something that will decide his fate and that of the people he cared about who were millions of miles away.
