"Yes, You"
When the unknown voice from the house answered Satya's plea for a place to stay,
What Satya felt wasn't a safety, but a sense of dread rise from his heart.
"..... "
Satya stood there dazed, by the implications the voice meant.
The guidelines crossed his mind once again, as if to instill the fear of the voice.
And even that wasn't the time when fear truly filled his heart,
it was when the voice of the Shadow was heard that he truly lost himself to fear.
[RUN]
Shadow's voice resounded in Satya's mind, blaring alarms of danger all around his mind, pulling him out of his daze.
Satya turned around in an instant, almost falling from the instant turn.
Perhaps The voice sensed that Satya was not coming inside, so it invited him once again in it's charming manner.
"Oh Dear, what happened, weren't you coming inside."
It sounded sweet and vibrant.
Satya could almost feel his mind entering the dazed state again, so he struck his head in hopes to remain clearheaded.
Feeling his mind being cleared,
Satya took his first step to run away from there, almost instantly he heard footsteps coming to the door from the inside.
His sense of danger went haywire in his head.
As soon as he took the second step, he felt the steps of [The Thing] quickening.
Each of his steps was regarded by [The Thing].
Satya was by no means going slowly, he had reacted almost instantly, just like a super human, yet that instant had seemed to stretch endlessly.
Satya took off in a sprint.
His speed was not human.
In just a second he had turned around and almost gotten ten feet away from the house, yet the voice was becoming faster.
Satya, while running, sensed [The Thing] inside the door.
[The Thing] was unfathomable to discern.
Thread like shapes extended from the crack.
Feeling their Shadow,
Satya felt his consciousness going berserk.
His mind was being corrupted from just discerning the shadow of the voice.
"Arhhhhhhhhhhhh"
A pain pierced his mind, it was unlike anything he had ever felt before, even the pain felt utterly wrong to him.
Satya withdrew his focus and tried to erase [The Thing] from his mind,
But he could still feel it coming after him.
By now, the gate was open and what was inside had truly come outside.
Satya couldn't tell where it was, he could only tell it was coming for him, by a gut feeling like the sixth sense.
He ran faster than he had ever ran before, yet even that was proving to be futile,
Whatever it is, was coming closer and closer with each passing moment.
As if listening the prayer of Satya's heart to hide,
In the distance, another house came into view,
but what truly relieved Satya wasn't the house, but a small plank protruding from it.
The plank was casting a shadow just enough for Satya to hide in.
But oh it was too late for him, [The Thing] was just behind him, he could almost discern it's shadow covering his own,
Somehow his eyes were fine to discern it's shadow, perhaps because they couldn't actually discern it's properties.
Satya looked at his only hope.
The house in the distance was just a 100 meters away, by his current speed he could cover that distance in two seconds.
But it was too late.
He could feel the attraction of [The Thing] pulling him to a stop.
He was in it's grasp now.
Satya smiled.
"Perhaps this is how this life ends"
In front of death, Satya's true feelings were shown.
It was acceptance.
Acceptance of everything that had transpired.
And perhaps, thats why Satya wasn't gonna go down without a fight.
"Tchh"
The Shadow finally produced a voice.
"This isn't the end."
Satya was almost about to ask what he meant by that, but that instant was split.
The world went dark.
in the that split instant, Satya was somehow put in the comforting darkness of Shadows.
He looked around to find that he was under the Shadow he had seen from a far.
He looked back at where he just was,
Only to see a figure.
He couldn't quite make it out what that figure was, but just as he had glanced at the figure.
He felt an intense pain in his eyes and unwillingly closed them.
But that thing had found out where Satya was from his gaze,
He had broken the guidelines of never directly looking at [The Thing] .
In almost a second, it had almost near Satya.
Suddenly, intense winds blew and Satya could feel the world become covered by a faint Humidness,
on his fingers Satya could feel water droplets forming.
[Become oblivious to the world]
Heeding The Shadow's warning, Satya stopped all of his senses.
A normal human could have never done this, but Satya was a human no more.
{The world seems to dance with my heart,
Giving hope in a hopeless part.
Even captured into despair,
I fight a deadly pair.}
