Noir POV:

*Cring! Cring! Cring!*
The
sound of alarm is ringing to my ear and light of warm sunlight is flashing to
my face.
" Urgh!"
I grunted and slowly
open my eyes I looked at my alarm clock and saw the time. It's 7:00 in the
morning.
I went to bathroom
to wash my face, went to the kitchen to prepare my food and eat. I took a bath and wear my uniform, picking up my bag and left my small apartment.
Outside the door I saw Mrs. Rosa owner of the apartment that I rent.
"Good morning Mrs. Rosa"
"Good morning Noir. I came here to ask if you have the money now to pay your rent."
"I'm sorry Mrs. Rosa I still don't have money yet. The government allowance hasn't arrived yet and I still can't find a part time job."
I explained apologetically.Then she sighed.
"*sigh* Alright! I know it's hard to live as an orphan so I won't pressure you. Just do your best in your studies and graduate as an Esper."
She encouraged
"Thank you! I will do my best."
I waved my hand at
her and left the apartment building.
I lost my parents when I was 10 because of an accident. That night is a nightmare for me. I don't know what happened, I can't remember it, I can't explain it, just pure
terror. A nightmare that hunt me down at night.
Thankfully I awakened my Esper ability {Dream Escape} the ability that helped me to escape from dreams and nightmares. Pretty useless compared to others but I'm fine with it.
I was walking towards to the train station then.
*Booooom!!!*

*Wheeeeeeow!!* *Wheeeeeeow!!*
A loud explosion, the sound of sirens and a creepy sound of a monster can be heard from the nearby street. A woman appeared from the ruined house. Her upper body was covered by spider silk and her lower body is a spider as big as house, a Phantomare.
Phantomares are monsters created from fears, either manifesting on their own or possessing those who fear it.
People are screaming, running everywhere, panicking even if there are police trying to calm the situation. Physical weapons are invalid against the phantomares. Even if they shoot the host, the host will just die and the phantomares will leave at best, at worst? It will go berserk and go on killing spree.
I was with the crowd far from the scene but I can still see it.
A fire appeared in the shape of a net catching and burning the fur of the spider monster.

With a louder scream of the spider monster
the Hope was back and the situation become better, the people calmed down. The only people that can kill it without harming the host has appeared.
The Espers.
Espers are people with psychic powers that can fight phantomares. There are many type of psychic powers. From bending spoon or moving a coin to teleportation, future sight or controlling different elements. Espers' eyes are glowing different colors when they are using psychic powers. And I tell you, It's freaking COOL!!!.
Anyway, the difference between colors signifies the intensity of the psychic powers. White is the weakest followed by blue then green, yellow, orange, red and the strongest is purple. It also tells you the talent and limit as an Esper. The National Espers Association use this system as classification for Espers.
I don't know what is the color of my eyes while using psychic powers because I can only use it while sleeping but considering the power I have it's definitely white. Which is not better than ordinary people.
Back to the scene. The pyromancer tightened the fire net and another Esper appeared above the spider monster and separated the woman from the spider. The spider monster screamed even louder, breaking glasses in it's surrounding. It continuously burned until it become a file of ash. The people celebrated, the sound of cheering and clapping for the heroes can be heard from here.
I arrived late at school because the train got delayed. The National Espers Academy (NEA) is the school built by the Espers Association to train young Espers to use their powers properly and to guide them to not miss use it. This is a prestigious school so I'm very surprised when I got invited here to study after all my psychic power is too weak and it is not a power that can be used for fighting. I accepted it even if I know the hardship after all my life has always been hard. Since I can get allowance and job after graduation, so why not? It has been a month since the first year of school started but I still feel the disdain of some students and teachers like I don't belong here. Sure that might be the case but I need it for my future. Not only for my self but also to honor the memories of my parents.
I was exempted for the first subject Because I have a valid reason for being late. Time passed and the noon comes.
"Yo! Noir let's grab some food in the cafeteria."
My friend Simon Tryceon invited.
"Okay, let's go"
He is a friend that I met at the beginning of the school year last month. I become friends with him because we're sit mates and he has outgoing personality.
We arrived at the school cafeteria but it was so crowded there. So Simon asked one of the student there.
"Excuse me! Why are there so many people gathered here?"
"Because the 2 of the most beautiful first year student has come to the school cafeteria."
The student answered enthusiastically.
I really can't understand these people. Sure they are beautiful, talented and came from prominent families but it has nothing to do with others right? They have been talking about them since the start of the school year.
"Oh really?!! I wanna see."
Oh shit! I forgot that there's an idiot beside me. We went through the crowd and saw them. Two beautiful girls greeting each other.
"Hi Yulia! It's rare to see you here."
The girl with the red hair Ruby Viola said. Unlike other student, she's not wearing a school uniform but a red and black combat uniform. She's not only beautiful but also has heroic aura on her. She has many followers around her adding a leadership vibe.
"Mhm"
The silver hair girl Yulia Rouge answered briefly. She is very beautiful and elegant as what you expect from a young lady from a rich family. She is known for being a reclusive lady so she doesn't have followers around her.
"Oh come on! You're still a loner even though we already entered the tertiary school. How can you have a friend if you continue to reject others?"
"I don't care"
She answered without any expression.
"Sigh! Well whatever that's your life. Do whatever you want. Let's go girls"

Ruby left with her followers. Yulia got some food and also left. Well anyway they have nothing to do with a normal person like me. We also grab some food and go back to the classroom to eat.
After noon class is the worst. We are going to train our psychic powers. The other students showed their psychic powers even Simon showed his power. His brown eyes were glowing blue light and mist appeared out of nowhere was covering him and his surrounding.
"Hey you! Whatever your name is"
The female teacher called me out
"Yes Mrs. Feliz!"
"I don't care why a useless psychic like you got accepted in this school but in my class no one is exempted. Use your powers or get out of here to find a place to sleep to use it."
And here we go again. A grumpy old woman, it's not my fault to not be able to use my powers while awake. I also don't know why I was invited in this school.
"Why don't you daydream loser?"

And here we go again a blonde delinquent Giohannes Boltzer insulted me again and the others laughed at his lousy jokes. Tsk! what a clown. If this is the first time I would have walked away in embarrassment but now it's just another Monday. What I care about is when these guys got bored in their jokes and went into physical bullying. That would be a problem so I need to avoid them as much as possible. Just like that another day at school has ended. I went back home change my clothes and eat my dinner then I go to sleep, Or so I thought.
I woke up or not in a dark place. It's not the same as my indescribable dream. It's like a huge underground cave but I can still see clearly. Suddenly I feel chills throughout my body. I feel so uncomfortable. A felling of nausea suddenly come over me. An unknown feeling of being watch by the unknown. I can't endure it anymore so I puke.
"BLERGHH!!!! Hah! Hah hah!"
"What the heck was that?"
I tried to use {Dream Escape} to wake up but it surprised me that it didn't work. Since I can't escape just enjoy it.
*UNKNOWN PLACE*

*Noir's POV*
I walked around in the seemingly underground cave but I have to say. It was really huge. I walked slowly and cautiously then I stopped walking because there is a green creature peeking. It has red glowing eyes, long ear, no hair, no clothes, long arms big hands with sharp claws. It smiled menacingly to me showing its sharp teeth as if I am a prey that was ready to be slaughtered.
It doesn't look good so good so I ran away from it. Surprisingly even though its standing like a human a while ago it started running like an animal. It's speed and w no joke it was as if I'm being chased by a car. When it catch up to me and it laughed madly.
*Kiekhahahahahhahhahahahah!!!!*
It tried to catch me but
"{Dream Escape}!"
I got away as if I'm teleported. The surprised look in it's face is so ugly. I grab some dirt in the ground while looking cautiously at the goblin looking thing.
"I will put some dirt in your eyes."
I whispered. I did what I said, I used {Dream Escape} to go in front of the goblin creature and throw the dirt in it's eyes. It screamed and I quickly used {Dream Escape} to get away but it screams even louder.
*Kiiieeeeeeeek!!!!!!!*
Then about 30 bigger goblins appeared from the dark corner. One of the adult goblin's eyes glowed brighter and throw a ball of fire at me. I instinctively used {Dream Escape} to got away faster and faster. They tried to chase me but seeing it's useless they stopped chasing. Since they stopped chasing me the {Dream Escape} has lost its effect. I still walk away and didn't stop.
As I continue to walk I can feel the air is getting colder and colder. I'm only wearing a t-shirt and short so I don't have much protection from cold.
"*Achoo!* Damn so cold."
I saw a familiar figure of a beautiful girl full of bruise and a wound on her shoulder. She has silver hair and disheveled white dress mixed with red and green blood, she's Yulia a famous girl in school. She's sprinting towards me. She desperately shouted at me.
"RUN!!!"
Behind her are 6 skinny hound looking creatures. They are bigger than humans, they have no furs, no eyes and mouth like starfish with full of sharp teeth. She looked behind her and used her psychic power to freeze the wide floor and walls to slow down the monsters. Even though it slowed them down but it's not enough to stop them because they are using their sharp claws on the frozen floor to continue to run. They catch up on her quickly and I didn't hesitate to use {Dream Escape} to catch her and carry her away.
'So anyway, I don't know if is it wrong to pickup a girl in the dungeon even though it's in dream.'
