Adrian suddenly felt a sharp pain in his heart. Blood started coming out of his mouth, and he fell to the ground, begging Nemesis for help. Nemesis said, "Why should I save you? Today is the last day of your life. But I can free you from this pain—you won't feel any pain while dying."
Adrian said, "Call the hospital."
Nemesis laughed and said, "Why are you humans so foolish?"
Just then, on the first floor where Adrian's book of fate was kept, it suddenly started shaking. Nemesis found it strange. She placed her hand on Adrian's hand and, using her magic, laid him on the bed. Then she went to check Adrian's life book, because it hadn't burned—instead, another page had been written in it.
"What is this?" Nemesis was shocked. When Adrian came to his senses, she stood beside him and said, "Are you some kind of god or deity? How did you escape the fate I wrote for you?"
