Erwin looked at the new place that he was renting , it was basically a mansion compared to his old cramped one bedroom apartment. During that month Erwin has manage to earn about thirteen million Rubes and he rented a six bedroom three bathroom house in the mid upper north side of town. It was a much better place from where he came from , the lower south side ghetto of the city.
Main bedroom of the house was on the second floor currently occupied by Erwin while the guest bedroom beside him was occupied by Rudolf, guarding Erwin from all kind of possibilities of the danger he could encounter. The two Lucas and Darby occupied the first floor of the house, Erwin could not believe that he was finally moving up in the world and but to him this was only the beginning.
Quitting his job at the warehouse he basically became Rafael and his partners supplier. Yellow ash was taking the streets by storm and by the months end many of the city from low to high has tasted it from one form or another. Erwin talked to his friend Bryant who is now dating Sasha and convince him to quit his job and he became a dealer. Bryant ranking in the cash slower than Erwin but he has also manage to move into a more decent place with Sasha and Emilia being their friend also moved in with them.
The four became inseparable as the money moved in, Erwin and Bryant became closer and Sasha and Emilia gravitated also towards that direction. During nights when it was the weekend they would all meet up at the club at the "Galore Galley" and spend some time together. With Sasha and Emilia they also got to know Daniell more and Rafael better.
One night during their outing at the "Galore Galley" Rafael invited Erwin in his office in the top floor , Rafael opened the door and inside were his four partners from the beginning and some men in suites and in the middle on the men in suits sat a very unusual aging man (Tin Flores). He recognized the man because Tin Flores has been in and out of the news throughout the years, they called him "THE IRON MAN OF EDEN".
Throughout the years many has risen and fallen but this man has avoided many who sought his destruction , many have tried to destroy this mans reputation by blaming him with any derogatory rumors about him but nothing seems to stick. Rumor has it this man controlled part of the government and is part of the underworld elite hierarchy . The man was part of the old order, the old era but to this day he has survived through sheer will, determination and as it seemed like luck seems to watch over him.
"Hello I'm Tin Flores " The aging man of eighty stood flanked by men in suits
Erwin immediately had a posture of respectable stature , Erwin looked at Rafael who gave him a nod and he walked towards the old man with a composed stride.
The Tin Flores waved his bodyguards to step aside and let the younger Erwin walked towards him and they shook hands.
"Rafael here said good things about you young man" Tin with a firm handshake said to Erwin.
"I hope so sir" Erwin returned the friendly handshake.
Tin Flores then patted Erwin at the shoulder , gesturing him to sit down. Erwin oblige the old man while Rafael went towards the cabinet and opened a bottle of high quality brandy and then opened a small case full of high quality cigars.
Rafael then walked towards the man offering them brandy with ice and cigars, Tin Flores and Erwin happily accepted the offering and the three man sat together.
As the three men sat together , Erwin was the first one to break the silence "Is there something I can help you with or need from me sir?"
"Straight to the point , I like that" Tin Flores gave Erwin an approving nod.
"I am in need of your services if you would take an offer from a time piece like me" Tin Flores decided to Humor the young Erwin.
"Rafael old partner Gino Adrell has been working with me for some time, I heard you know his daughter Daniell.
"Yes I do"
"Well Rafael Recommended you to Daniel and in turn it reached my ears when he told me about your Yellow ash". Tin Flores with excitement within his eyes seemed glued to Erwin.
"We have tried and tested it and it the substance Yellow ash came back inconclusive, like it has a chemical lock within it"
Erwin was not surprised because all of the ingredients came from the game world, these ingredients were purely made of science fiction becoming real in reality. These chemical compounds cannot be found in or on the planet.
"Yes I supposed so, It's very advance I say if you would think that sir" Erwin's mind was already thinking of an excuse about it if possible.
"I would like you to supply us" Tin Flores did not pry but instead made an offer to Erwin.
Erwin nodded and the three talked all night until the "Galore Gallery closed and Erwin went home with his friends, He did not tell them what happened but a Erwin just got a big deal that night. On the following morning Tin Flores let Erwin rent a large warehouse and office within his his domain. Erwin was basically green lit to open his own house of operations.
Starting small Erwin summoned some more clones to set the standards for his new operation, there were now forty clones not including Darby, Lucas, and Rudolf. Workers, security, support and transport. Erwin made a deal seventy percent would go to Tin Flores, twenty percent to Rafael and ten percent to the four gang leaders. The warehouse could store up to ten tons and is guarded at all times, Darby manage the allocation of goods and finance , Lucas manage the transport and distribution and Rudolf manage the security of the warehouse.
Tin Flores also sent some of his people to cooperate with Erwin's for a smoother collaboration and to teach Erwin the ropes of his new operation. It took a two months to properly run the operation smoothly as there were some slight mishaps at the beginning. Soon the operation was running and the flow of yellow ash within the city and neighboring cities and towns exploded. Yellow ash became the most sought after drug at the moment. The drug was distributed within all reaches of the operations that could be reached, the drug was controlled by tight channels of operations and were moderately distributed within smuggling lines for the prices to be controlled perfectly.
The operation was a success and during this time Erwin was in his office looking at his interface, planning his next step , in the interface of the game Erwin was looking at all the items he had. In the game you could synthesis many items of compatibility of different combinations to be synthesizes or create new items by prompting a command sequence to create something through imagination if you have any items that could create it and the advance Artificial intelligence would handle the rest. The items was a combination of algorithms of imagination, combination of items or components that could be use and in the end he could edit the items through the editor page making it look like what he wanted.
Erwin spent some days on the creation and editors page creating new things that he could use, something that would not draw attention. He created a small laptop that could be handheld and was voice control and has a very advance Artificial intelligence thus giving all his subordinates at the moment identities. He also create some protective gear and small arms and whatever else he might and his subordinates might need.
After finishing what he was doing he went to check on the status of his operation, walking around and checking the numbers and shipments he was satisfied.
In the center of Eden a meeting was taking place among some of the top conglomerate of the city, they were worried that Yellow ash has taken over the city and has cut into their business dealings and they have long supplied others forces with whatever they needed. They have used foreign and domestic contacts to smuggle in goods all kind of goods throughout the country.
These forces have manage to get a sample of Yellow ash and they could not break the chemical lock that was in place of the product, These conglomerates were now originally here to talk about the release of their new product XZ - 28. The product XZ - 28 was acquired in a foreign land from a Drug lord in the in the peninsula of Arcus and after many trial and error and was finally ready for release. It was a by product of Gray smok chemically that was accidentally discovered by injecting it with another synthetic by product of other chemical compounds.
It had a was a high value deal for these conglomerate thinking that they could sell this new by product XZ-28 but now there a competition in the market. They tried small and but fast human trials on the yellow ash and it beat XZ-28 by astronomical margin. The product XZ -28 had an effect of a good high and hour or so at the most and there were side effects of the drug but the conglomerate was not worried about those as if the new drug was a success they would rake in more cash flow.
The meeting of these people went throughout the day and as they came to the same conclusion of finding the source of the drug , their only lead was the drug was being distributed by Tin Flores throughout his domain of operations. In the end of their meeting they all came to an agreement if that they would distribute XZ -28 first to gauge the reactions of the people then if possible they will sell in bulk and if not they will contact Tin Flores.
Tin Flores even though he has connections some of his sources of goods did come from others, he just did not just deal in substance, he has also dealt with smuggling, prostitution , illegal gambling, illegal small arms trade and so much more. While Tin Flores was handling his business his associate Rafael got a call from one of his associates about a new drug hitting the market.
Many people who dealt with the underworld always kept a lookout for anything that can effect their operational status. Rafael talked with his contact for a minute and soon after a man arrive at his club bringing in a small sample.
Rafael looked at his contact and asked him some question about the drug, the man answered it as best as he could then they tested it ,The drug was XZ - 28 , shiny metallic powder . In their conclusion it was a low - mid drug not like the yellow ash. This drug even put in the market would not impact Yellow ash as the Substance yellow ash was in their mind a top quality drug. They would not interfere with each other in the market.
Rafael was thinking of buying a small amount of it to sell but though of something, after the test he bid farewell to his associates and called tin Flores about the drug and not surprising he has also heard and had a sample with him and had others tried it. They had the same conclusion about the XZ - 28 that it would not disturb the market.
All the while this was happening , Erwin was at home drinking an ice cold beer with his friend Bryant that was now part of his distribution. Erwin would give Bryant a certain amount and he would sell it by now Bryant name within a small circle is known.
