The onslaught in the city of Eden's cleansing went on for days , as many properties and assets were taken by the Authorize . The (CGC) or central government committee spared no expense for restructuring the power structure of Eden. Many people were cleanse not just the once tied to Erwin and his associates. The CGC also removed some other variables that could effect the restructuring of the city. Inside the CGC after the cleansing they immediately sent their people in to take power of underground management of the city, phase two was immediately complete.
Many people were surprised of what happened, many people went incognito and went into hiding. Many plans of different people were interrupted and were no longer viable after the take over of underground of the city.
In that current moment after the takeover of the city three people that were fleeing looked back at the city before they boarded their own transport to leave the country and go into hiding to rebuild somewhere else. Tin Flores boarded an underground train towards the east to an unknown location, all the while Rafael was in a private unknown airfield being smuggled out of the country.
Erwin was lucky to escape he didn't have the power or influence like Rafael and Tin Flores but he did have the support of the system and his people that were loyal to him. The three main clones that he trusted Darby, Lucas and Rudolf with some of their people manage to clear the area before their warehouse in the city was taken over. They met Erwin a warehouse in the outskirts of town where when the situation was explained to Erwin he immediately dissolve his operations.
Everyone readily made their own way, the people that were working for Erwin thank him then fled the scene and dispensary into the distance. Erwin was no exception he also left the area, using the small laptop that he acquired from the system that his men brought, he immediately cross reference any movements towards that area.
Leaving the area and going on foot until they reached a town, they immediately got some vehicle for transport , luckily Erwin people did not forget the cash that was also in the safe with Erwin's laptop. When he left town he immediately made a plan to leave the country of Karl, with all the information that he can gather that the actions of the authorities was not just random, they were precise and methodological in their execution.
Erwin wanted to lay low so he made a quick decision, he was going to the country of golden Isle. The place was a third world country where a dictator ran the country. Rumor Haas it if you wanted to disappear that was the country to go to. He immediately accessed his computer and to find outgoing vessels that were going to that country, he then contacted a respective captain to have to been known in the area to smuggle people abroad.
He found a man named Cyrus, a forty five year old captain who had a cargo ship going outbound to the golden Isle, the ship was leaving the port city of Guine in a few hours. Erwin Immediately made a call and a deal with the captain, him and his people would board the ship for a fee of thirty million rubes. Erwin did not negotiate and immediately accepted the deal, checking the bag that his people brought there was about two hundred million rubes. They had enough money to disappear for awhile and start a new in the country of Golden Isle.
As the time went by they eventually made it to the city of Guine and headed straight to the port where few men were waiting for them and in the center of those men a tall heavily built man with graying hair and a full graying beard also.
As for the deal with their transport they paid half now and half later when the arrive at the golden Isle. They were immediately ushered to port and into the ship " Sea Side", Erwin was guided into the lower part of the ship where a trap door was located and him and his men entered.
Putting their gear down and getting a breather for a moment Erwin sat down, thinking of what has just happened sent shivers down his spine, thinking if he ever returned to this country he would pay them back for what they did to him and those who were close to him.
Erwin and his people could finally rest and soon enough it was time , the ship headed out to international waters, the days went on by as Erwin waited on days end. During that time they were given the necessities from day to day to stay fed and hydrated. The Golden Isle was almost on the other side of the world and would Approximately take forty days by ship.
It was a long and arduous voyage with port checks , cargo and ship inspections along the way to the Golden Isle but on the "Sea Side" traveled. During that time Erwin was talking to his subordinates an they were cross referencing on how things went wrong, studying their mistakes and planning for what is up ahead. Eventually the ship made it to the country of Golden Isle, when the ship horns blew Erwin knew that they have made it.
Soon the doors opened and Cyrus with a smile invited them up to the deck, Erwin arriving in the ships deck saw the glowing sunrise into the distance. He looked over the horizon, he saw a city covered in smog and fog.
Cyrus began to explain this large city was the port city of Denin in the golden Isle. It is one of the biggest city in the Islands. He then asked about the payment and Erwin happily oblige , the captain happily took the money and asked if he needed anymore services. Erwin asked for a house for him and his subordinates and a local contact if possible to get whatever they might need at the moment.
Erwin also asked for a forger to forge paper work for them and payment for these services was negotiable. The captain nodded and talks began, they settled on two million rubes for the captain's introduction. Soon the ship docked, the captain left the ship and headed towards the office building and when he emerge he had some men with him.
The captain introduced them , they were his contacts in the port and they would handle the rest. The captain shook Erwin's had and he headed back to the ship. Erwin and his people were then escorted in vehicles and was driven into the city. The driver told told Erwin that the captain paid him to escort them to a safe house of some sort before they can be transferred to their own house.
Paperwork was already being processed for the house and property, they would meet the forger later when the paperwork is done and the final payment would also have to be handled. They soon disembarked in a medium and unassuming building in the lower section of the city.
They tested for awhile then were escorted to another part of the city where their new house would be located. When they got there the forger for the documents of the house was already waiting, Erwin paid and signed the documents. He also asked for identification papers which was then scheduled in a later time.
Erwin handsomely paid the people who drove him and they all went their separate ways, he looked at the three story building and then he looked at the documents on his hands, he and his people entered. The building was soon surveyed and cleaned and the group finally settled down and had a long quiet rest.
In the morning there was a knock and Rudolf checked then opened the door, it was the forger with a group of people with him. The forger and his group entered and began to set up their equipment. One by one Erwin and his people were then called to have their pictures taken and an identity was forged and put into their data bank. Erwin happily paid them handsomely so their documents would seem like legitimize documents , you do get what you paid for. It took hours but eventually it was finished. Erwin looked at the documents and paperwork, the forger told Erwin and the other two memorize the documents for if questions are asked they could answer them.
A few days flew by as Erwin stayed low and waited, soon a man named Carter arrived. He was a man with some connections to the underworld of the city of Guine. He said he got a message from Cyruse's contacts and was paid for him to make introductions.
Erwin sighted , it really was hard to start over somewhere in a foreign country but he did not despair. He told Carter that before introductions were in order he needed to know the general layout of the city , its current events , affairs , underground forces and the local inhabitants.
They both sat down and Carter happily explained since he was paid , explained the dynamics of the city of Guine to Erwin. Of course only of what he knew, he explained to Erwin that the underground forces in the country of Golden Isle worked with the dictatorial government. Everyone in a sense worked hand in hand to make money but the real people in charge was the military. Golden Isle was an island nation but it was not lone , there were many island nations in the surrounding area. The archipelago of Loi, the island chain of Nexus and many more.
These nations are at with competitions with each other, this island nations consumed more than fifty percent of the goods in the far away mainland continents of the area and in turn they smuggled goods to the mainland that the mainland didn't have such as illegal substance , weapons and many more.
Erwin though if he wanted to set himself up he needed good contacts, maybe in the military since this place was a dictatorial place where the military is in absolute control but he also needed trusted men from the underground who will do the dirty work and also goo smugglers that can and will smuggle goods both ways.
He slowly got the information he needed, eventually Erwin asked for a contact in the military forces. Carter smiled nodding at Erwin's smart choice.
Erwin gave Carter a three hundred thousand rubes and two million for a meet and induction, Carter immediately agreed and set the meet three days later. Carter left and soon Erwin got a breather , this military man would mean his success and or failure but throughout this journey everything has gone smoothly so far.
Checking his cash reserve he still got enough to set up a business deal if not he would start slow , he had the system of course with him. Erwin didn't release or paid with products because he wanted to keep a tight seal with it for the moment. Last time he revealed his product and look at what happens, it was not even a year and he is now down on his luck. Going to another country on the run from who knows from who , he wanted to keep a low profile at the moment.
Erwin waited for three days and soon some Carter with some men appeared , they allowed Erwin to have one attendant to come with him and he took Rudolf with him and soon they stopped in a building that looked like a barracks.
