Luffy's POV [Arrival to Lumina City]
I smell MEAT! As soon as the Sunny docks, I zoom off to find that smell. Brook chases after me, "LUFFY-SANNN! WAITTTT" He says. Soon I find the source of the smell, a delicious meat stand, and told the guy to give me everything.
The meat here is weird but it tastes amazing! It's meat but blue and green and GLOWS. GLOWING MEAT! It's so cool!
Soon the guy at the stall is looking at me weird. "Got anymore?" I ask. "Are you gonna pay" He asks. I reach into my pocket... and find the button. Uh oh... I give it the man hopefully "You ate my whole stock!" he shouts in anger. Quickly I run before he catches me.
A few minutes later Tummy is mad at me for running so I stop by another stall. "Gimme everything." I tell them. Soon the same thing happens. What the hell is wrong with this place! Making me run so much. Oooh I smell more meat.. Oh hey it s that guy from earlier, I wave at him and then, soon i'm surrounded by all the nice people who gave me meat. What's happening?? "Time to pay up." One of them says. I look around, one is holding a scary knife, the other has a giant wooden club, another has a big sword too! They all have matching expressions, scowling and growling. I think they're mad at me about not paying..
Thankfully, Brook arrives to see the chaos. His skull pales somehow, registering the situation, "BROOK! What's happening? Why're they so mad at me?" I say, I'm confused. Brook sighs, "You forgot to pay Luffy-san" He says flatly and turns to the vendors "How much?" he asks them. "20mil" one says growls. Brook grimaces and looks at his pouch and pales further. The angry meat people see this too and take another step toward us, getting ready to pounce. "We're not letting you get away til you pay!" They shout angrily. Brook then leans to me, whispering, "Listen carefully Luffy-san... We're in BIG trouble. So are we gonna run or fight?" He asks. "we're in trouble?" I ask then grin, "Fight." I say. Brook puts his hand on his cane sword and I take a stance, getting ready for a fight..
[1 hour later. Lumina City jail.]
Meat people are strongggg. Everything hurts, they put sea prism cuffs on me. I then hear someone coming down the hall, "Your a big shot pirate huh." A voice says. I look up. A short dude with a golden coat and shades, smoking comes. "Ehhhh? Who are you?" I ask. The man ignores my question, flicking his cigarette aside. "Can you fight?" He asks. "Yeah! .... Not right now though.." I say, feeling tired. "I'm gonna let you out." He says. "Thanks-" I say but he cuts me off, "On one condition." He says. "Ehhh? What? I'll fight you!... later.." I say the cuffs tiring me. "You fight for me." He says. "Ehh? For you? No" I say. He smirks having anticipated this. "Alright then, do it for your skeleton friend." He says. "BROOK?" I say. "Yes, the skeleton. I'll let him free if you fight." I pull against my chains, trying to hit him but the sea prism makes me weak. He smirks triumphantly.
And... Just like that I'm taken to a big stadium looking place under a building with lots of people coming in to watch. Its like that place in Dressrosa, the arena place. Its big. I wander around the armor room and take a cool sword and shiny helmet and a heroic looking red cape. The room is full of massive muscular people, like in Dressrosa too. I guess i'll just beat them like I did then. Heh, this will be fun..
[1 hour later. Lumina City Underground Arena.]
The arena is HUGE! There's so many people too! I've fought 3 people now and beat them and the people boo when I win and tell me to lose, I don't get it. Anyway this is fun!
"For our next match tonight, we have... "Crushfist" Don Jon!" The announcer says. A big bald guy with giant metal fists enters, raising his arms and turning so the crowd can look. He looks strong, then the spotlight turns to me, "And facing him is the surprising rise of the Straw Hat Pirates captain himself! Introducing... STRAW HAT LUFFFYYYY!" they say dramatically and the crowd roars with a mix of anger, disapproval and excitement. I walk up to the ring, grinning. The whistle is blown and the big guy charges at me, and slams his fists together where my head was. I feel the air above where my head had been shudder from the force, yikes! I duck and miss the blow from hitting me fortunately then wind up my arm, "GOMU GOMU.... PISTOL!" I shout, slamming my fist into him. The big guy spits blood and gets launched across the ring and into walls and slumps. "WOW! CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS? STRAW HAT LUFFY GETS ANOTHER KO!!!" The announcer shouts excitedly. I walked back to the side I came from as the medics arrive to carry the other guy off, He was strong but kinda slow.
I hope I get a good opponent soon.
