His clothes are filthy.The roar of a truck engine grows deafening. Headlights blindingly flood the screen.HIRIA (V.O.)I was a waste of oxygen. Awkward. Weird. A total ghost to society. When my parents died, I didn't even go to the funeral. I just sat in my room. Didn't care. Didn't feel a thing. So my family kicked me out. And honestly? I hated myself for it.SFX: LOUD TRUCK HORN. CRASH.Blackout.HIRIA (V.O.)I thought that was the end. Just total, well-deserved nothingness.WOMAN'S VOICE (ECHOING)Push! MEDIEVAL BEDROOM - DAYBlinding light shatters the darkness.Hiria gasps, but it sounds like a high-pitched baby's wail.A warm, sweat-drenched woman holds him tightly. This is Silvia (resembling Zenith). She weeps tears of pure, faithful joy.SILVIAOh, look at him, Arthur! My beautiful, precious boy!ARTHUR (resembling Paul) rushes over, strapping a broadsword to his waist but instantly softening as he looks down.ARTHURHe's got my jawline, honey! He's going to be a warrior!Hiria looks at his tiny hands in absolute horror.HIRIA:(Thinking)What is happening? I'm small. I'm breathing. Is this... rebirth? I'm a baby. Who are these people? Why is she screaming? Why is he carrying a sword? Someone wake me up.[SCENE END]Act II: The Growing Shadow[SCENE START]INT. FAMILY HOUSE - YEARS LATERA montage plays showing Hiria growing up as the eldest of 4 bros. Unlike other children, he never smiles. He develops a gloomy, intense look with deep, dark eyes. He is completely serious, deeply quiet, and detached from the world.HIRIA:(Thinking)Years passed. I adapted. I didn't have a choice. This world is strange, but my new family... they are an absolute circus. Especially my three younger brothers.🎵 MUSICAL NUMBER: "THE HOUSE OF MISMATCHED SOULS" 🎵The scene shifts into a theatrical, stylized musical sequence. Yurto (14) marches in, wearing a pristine uniform, holding a holy book, and smiling with radioactive, Charlie-like optimism.YURTO:(Singing and jumping into a choreography step, eyes sparkling)But don't forget the spirit! Every sinner can repent!A golden path to heaven is the reason we were sent!I've memorized the scriptures, and I'm ready to extendA helping hand to demons, they just need a faithful friend!Yurto strikes a cheerful Boy Scout pose. Hiria watches from the corner, face deadpan.HIRIA:(Thinking)That's Yurto. My second brother. A hyper-cheerful, Bible-nerd saint who genuinely thinks he can redeem the worst monsters in existence.Suddenly, Zora (12) slides into the frame. He leans on a cane, wearing a bright, permanent, Alastor-like grin. His posture is perfectly calm, but his eyes are chaotic and predatory.ZORA:(Singing with a voice dripping in smooth, theatrical jazz tones)Oh, redemption is a fantasy, a comedy, a joke!Why bother saving spirits when they're easily awoke?The world is full of pleasures, sweet, delectable, and devious...Zora glides toward Kyokko, the family maid, who is quietly sweeping. Kyokko stiffens, looking completely weirded out by his presence. Zora leans in close to her, his smile widening.ZORA:(Whispering sleezily)And speaking of devious, Kyokko, that apron really accentuates your—SFX: WHACK!Yurto's fist slams directly into the back of Zora's head. Zora hits the floor, his Alastor smile still completely plastered on his face.YURTO:No inappropriate comments in this holy household!Asher (6), the youngest of the 4 bros, hops down from the stairs. He beams with pure, positive energy, instantly running to Zora's side to help him up. They exchange a quick, mischievous high-five.ASHER:(Giggling)Good try, Zora! Next time, use poetry!HIRIA:(Thinking)Asher. They call him Angel. He's completely positive and took that cheerful energy from Yurto, but he shares a close brotherly bond with Zora. They are a dangerous duo in the making.The musical arrangement swells into a chaotic ensemble piece with Arthur swinging his sword, Silvia praying, Yurto lecturing, and Zora dusting himself off while keeping his eerie grin.ALL EXCEPT HIRIA (SINGING)We are the family that defies all explanation!A holy, chaotic, wild generation!The music snaps off instantly as the lights return to normal.[SCENE END]Act III: Adapting to the Chaos[SCENE START]INT. DINING ROOM - NIGHTThe family sits at the dinner table. Zora is sitting next to Asher, quietly whispering a perverted joke. Asher giggles wildly.Kyokko stands against the wall, eyeing Zora with deep suspicion, holding a frying pan tightly just in case.Yurto is reading his Bible out loud, trying to drown them out.Hiria sits at the center, staring down at his plate. His face is stoic, serious, and dark.Arthur claps Hiria on the back, nearly knocking him out of his chair.ARTHURYou're too quiet, Hiria! You need to get out there, fight some monsters, find some girls!SILVIAArthur! Behave! Hiria is just introspective. He's going to do great things for the faith, aren't you sweetie?Hiria looks around the table. At his loud dad, his doting mom, his saint-like brother Yurto, his demonic pervert brother Zora, and the chaotic little kid Asher.He takes a deep breath. His gloomy expression doesn't change, but his eyes soften just a fraction.HIRIA:(Thinking)I was a ghost in my last life. I didn't care about anything. But here... in this weird, loud, musical nightmare of a house... it's impossible to stay invisible.Hiria picks up his fork and begins to eat.HIRIA:(Thinking)I don't know what this world expects of me. But I'm going to survive it. Even if I have to watch my brothers punch each other every single day.[SCENE END]
