Chapter 3 - The Last Lesson and a New Dawn

(Act I: The Final Test and the Awkward Birthday[SCENE START]EXT. TRAINING FIELD - DAYRoxy stands before the 4 bros, her staff raised high. A massive magical circle glows beneath her feet.ROXYThis is your final lesson! Show me everything you have learned! Combine your Arcana!Hiria slams his hands on the ground, creating a massive wave of sharp ice spires to trap Roxy. Roxy leaps into the air, but Asher unfolds his angel wings, taking flight and diving down to block her escape path.ASHER:Gotcha cornered, Teach!Roxy uses a wind blast to push Asher back, but she lands right on the ground where Zora is waiting. Zora doesn't even activate his tentacles; he just grins, ducks under a staff swipe, and sweeps her legs with a realistic, lightning-fast martial arts kick.Roxy tumbles back, but recovers instantly, launching a fireball at them. Suddenly, Yurto leaps in front of his brothers. His golden-scaled cross armor manifests, glowing white-hot. He absorbs the fireball completely, turning the flames into a harmless puddle of melted slag on the grass.Roxy lowers her staff, panting and smiling proudly.ROXYPerfect synchronization. You have completely passed your final exam.INT. DINING ROOM - NIGHTThe house is covered in colorful banners. A massive cake sits on the table. Silvia and Arthur are cheering, while Kyokko sets down plates. Yurto, Zora, and Asher are clapping wildly.ALL EXCEPT HIRIA:Happy Birthday, Hiria!Hiria sits at the head of the table, staring at the glowing candles. His dark, gloomy face is completely frozen. He blinks, looking around the room in absolute confusion.HIRIA:(Thinking)A birthday party? For me? In my past life, my birthdays were just another day spent alone in a dark room. Nobody cared. I don't... I don't know what face I'm supposed to make. Am I supposed to smile? Shout? How do normal people react to being loved?HIRIA:(Muttering awkwardly)Uh... thank you. The cake looks... edible.Zora leans over, his Alastor-like grin stretching wide as he nudges Hiria's shoulder.ZORA:(Chuckling)Oh, look at that stone-cold face! He's utterly terrified of a little frosting!ASHER:(Giggling)Cut him some slack, Zora. He's just emotional!Hiria looks down, hiding a tiny, genuine smirk behind his collar. He's confused, but for the first time in two lifetimes, he feels safe.[SCENE END]Act II: The Girl in the Woods[SCENE START]EXT. FOREST PATH - NEXT DAYYurto is walking through the woods, carrying his holy book. Suddenly, he hears a soft whimper. He rushes into a clearing and finds a young, timid girl with short hair (resembling Sylphiette) sitting against a tree. Her knee is badly scraped and bleeding.Yurto gasps, immediately dropping to his knees with pure, Charlie-like concern.YURTO:Oh no! You're hurt! Don't worry, the light will heal you!Yurto places his hands over her knee. A gentle, warm golden glow radiates from his palms. The cut completely closes up. The girl gasps, looking up at him with wide, astonished eyes.GIRL:(Voice trembling)Wow... thank you. Who... who are you?🎵 MUSICAL NUMBER: "A FAITHFUL SERVANT'S CALL" 🎵The forest lighting shifts into a bright, theatrical stage setting. Yurto springs to his feet, instantly bursting into a joyful, energetic Broadway-style musical number, dancing around the trees.YURTO:(Singing in a powerful, operatic, cheerful voice)I am a servant of the Lord above,Sent to this world to spread peace and love!My name is Yurto, a brother and friend,A helper of souls until the very end!God is so great, He guides every stride,With faith as my armor and truth as my guide!He hits a massive final high note, striking a proud Boy Scout pose as leaves magically swirl around him. The girl just stares at him, completely amazed and blinking in wonder.GIRL:(Softly)That was... amazing. My name is Lyra.Yurto extends his hand, helping her up with a bright, respectful smile. A pure, sweet friendship forms instantly.[SCENE END]Act III: Graduation and Teasing[SCENE START]EXT. FAMILY HOUSE - AFTERNOONThe graduation ceremony is officially concluding. Roxy stands with the family, handing the final certificates to the boys. Lyra stands a little bit away, watching nervously.Zora points a finger at Lyra, his eyes flashing mischievously.ZORA:(Loudly, smirking)Well, well, well! Look who brought a guest to graduation! Yurto's got himself a little girlfriend!ASHER:(Laughing, pointing)Ooooh! Yurto and Lyra sitting in a tree!Instantly, Yurto and Lyra's faces turn bright, explosive red. They both look away from each other, stammering.YURTO:(Blushing furiously, waving his hands)No! No! It's not like that! We are just devout companions in the eyes of the Lord!Hiria walks past them, giving Yurto a deadpan look.HIRIA:(Smirking slightly)Smooth, lover boy.Yurto clears his throat, trying to regain his serious, faithful composure. He turns to Lyra, looking her dead in the eye, trying to give her an inspiring speech.YURTO:Ignore them, Lyra! Listen to me. You must be strong, not weak. Never let anyone look down on you. Women can do absolutely anything that men can do! We are completely equal!Lyra's eyes light up, feeling deeply inspired.YURTO:(Continuing confidently)Yes! Except... well... except for the biological things that only men and women can do separately, which... uh... involves... marriage and... babies and...Yurto abruptly stops talking as his face turns an even darker shade of red. He covers his face with his holy book, completely embarrassed by his own words. Lyra blushes furiously, giggling and looking at the ground.Roxy smiles warmly at the chaotic brothers, wiping a tear from her eye.ROXYYou four are going to change this world. Never lose your bond.Hiria looks at his brothers—Yurto hiding behind his book, Zora and Asher laughing hysterically, and his parents cheering in the background.HIRIA:(Thinking)Our training is officially over. My new life is just beginning. And despite the utter chaos... I think I'm finally glad I got hit by that truck.[SCENE END]
