Leon arrived at a lush green forest with thick trees and long branches, the trees are tall and huge enough to obscure sunlight from penetrating slightly making the forest half lit and half darken.
The forest was named pastures forest due to the lush green bushes, open field in some places and the thick bulky trees whereas giving it it's name pastures forest.
Leon without wasting much time brought out his map and pen marking a location where a primitive grade beast Leon has chosen for his quest resided, due to the reason being they hunt solo rather than in groups and are one of the weakest among it's piers.
After picking a direction he started to walk towards the location warily since they are cases whereby humans are ambush by another beast or humans coming across one.
The difference between beast and monsters are due to beast having low intelligence while monsters have high intelligence with some even smarter than humans, beasts charged and attacks humans or their kind blinding fighting them head-on while monsters in some cases plan their attack, and sometimes sets trap and ambush for their victims making them a terrifying opponent.
They are some monsters that can take on human form after undergoing mutation and even in certain cases some monsters speak the human language but humanoid monsters are terrifying powerful making humans fear them, which results in human choosing to target beast instead of monsters but killing monsters has better chance of making a cultivator stronger because monsters are slightly stronger than beasts while some special beast are able to be on par with monsters of the same rank.
Leon continues on his journey to conquer the quest without even feeling nervousness or hesitation instead excitement overwhelmed his every being as he mutter I will become stronger no matter what happens I will be at the top of everyone.
After walking for an hour he decided to check the time remaining for him to complete his quest.

Well I still have two hours left Leon said as he decided to take a rest for a moment as he has been walking for an hour a feat consider astounding to ordinary human but Leon realizes that since his transformation some feat consider impossible for his past self is now consider possible, I wonder if it's because of my endurance Leon thought but he immediately stops his thoughts as he decided to continue his journey.

Leon arrived at his location which is a open field with short trees as tall as himself, the field itself is wider than Leon imagine it to be with a lush green grass overlaying all the field like a football field but with longer grass and short tress here and there, and beside a tree is Leon's supposed target.
He brought out his encyclopedia to check the info about the beast, the beast name is called golden horn sheep.... the beast looks like a normal sheep but twice the size of the normal sheep with fluffy white fur that can entice someone to touch them, black eye balls with no sclera and a long golden horn protruding from the middle of it's head and thick hoofes like feet as big as Leon's arm able to crush a normal human in a single kick.
If a normal human were to see the beast they will immediately run away from the area as far as they can but not Leon who is determined to kill that beast so that he can become stronger.
The golden horn sheep has a poor eyesight but enhance hearing able to pick up even the thinnest sounds and for their weapon it's their hoofes and horn couple with it's speed, it's hoofes are able to crush a man's chest with ease upon contact and their protruding horn is a fierce weapon able to Pierce through even some low grade armour but their only weakness is their skin which is soft enough for even a kitchen knife to Pierce through if applied with enough strength.
After reading all the info about the beast he knew it's time for him to start his quest.
Leon brought out his ordinary dagger since that's all he can afford, after clutching the dagger by his side he then crouch low and sneakily started approaching the beast with caution since any slight sound can expose his whereabouts giving him a even harder time to kill it.
Leon lie down flat in the grass as he then started slowly crawling towards the beast and his plan worked as the beast has yet to registered his presence,as Leon was just some feet away from the beast he then lay still without moving as he saw the beast slowly approaching him while feeding on the grass below unaware of Leon's presence.
'SWOOSH'
Just as the beast was within two feet away from Leon,he suddenly struck out of the grass and slash his dagger at the beast neck Causing a deep cut at the beast neck as blood flowed out.
'EEEEEKHH'
The beast screech in anger as it cast a murderous look at Leon.
Shit the attack didn't kill it... Leon said as the slash on the beast neck was not deep enough to slice open his throat but was just only some inches deep causing severe blood lost to the beast.
'THUMP'

The beast charges towards Leon with astounding speed as it quickly appears in front of leon aiming it's horns at Leon's chest but Leon was quick enough to jump out of the way, the beast then turned around as it charges towards Leon again.
A few minutes has passed with Leon dodging the beast ferocious attacks here and there as he's quickly getting exhausted just as he's starting to loose hope an idea suddenly popped up in his head as he remembers his skill cloud steps as he quickly activated it.

After Leon activated the skills he then dashes towards the beast head on as he quickly spun his body around to dodge the incoming attack as he then stab his dagger at the beast stomach causing more blood loss to the beast.
'EEEEEKHH'
The beast screech in pain once again as he sent a kick towards Leon but Leon quickly uses cloud steps to dodge the incoming attack as he then stabbed the beast at his back and then pulling the blade downward causing a big deep cut at the beast back to it's belly.
The beast has then become incredibly weak due to its loss of blood as Leon became even confident in killing the beast,he then started pushing the beast back bit by bit with it's relentless attack as the beast appears to be at it's last leg and just as Leon move in to finish the kill the beast suddenly charge towards Leon with all it's remaining strength catching Leon off guard as the beast horn was heading straight at his chest but at the last moment Leon twist his body to get out of the way but the attack still manage to graze Leon's shoulder causing a deep cut drawing blood.
The beast then fell on it's knees after using all it's strength on that last attack and without Leon wasting any time he stabbed the dagger at the beast head piercing it's skull killing the beast finally as notification appears before him but Leon ignores them for now as he lay on the ground utterly exhausted like he's just run a marathon,as Leon realizes that using cloud steps requires lots of stamina.
Leon sat up while flinching slightly from the pain as a beaming smile appears on his face, I have definitely become stronger as there's no case of an ordinary human killing a primitive grade beast as if humans were to learn of Leon's feat he will leave the world gaping in shock.
Leon then decided to check his reward as he opened up the notification.

Leon was both surprised and excited after checking his stats but seeing some unfamiliar new info at his stats he decided to try his luck and ask the system.

After Leon heard this he was extremely delighted as a grin slowly creeps across his face, he then decided to distribute his attribute points.... after thinking for a while he then decided to put five points into strength because of his brand new skill brass punch and then he allocated the remaining five points into stamina since his agility has increased slightly and couple with the cloud steps he can become faster already but since he requires stamina to use cloud steps efficiently he decided to settle the remaining points into stamina.
And now for his upgrade points he thought deeply about which skill he should upgrade... after thinking for a while he then decided to upgrade cloud steps.

This is amazing I gain another ability from just upgrading my skills, finally something Worthy to make me stronger Leon said before turning his attention to the beast carcass lying in a pool of blood...he then walked towards the carcass before using his dagger to cut the horn of the golden horn sheep.
The horn is worth quite some silver coins if sold because it's usually used for primitive grade weapons, Leon then continues to butcher the meat and fur... after packing everything till his bag was full he then smiles slightly as he knew that this Trip was worth it not only did he got stronger,he also has some stuff to sell for cash, Leon then plan to come back to the forest after selling and buying some stuff so that he can continue to kill beast so that he can gather enough beast energy to become a cultivator and finally be able to taste what real strength means and not long after Leon Left the forest behind with a smile on his face.
