Leon was running through the forest as he was heading west jumping zigzag to avoid some trees. Some beast occasionally attacked him but upon seeing flocks of hundreds of blood bat they immediately went hiding ignoring Leon who they firstly tried to attack.
Leon realizes that his speed has greatly increased without even activating wind steps yet.....he occasionally turned around checking if he has shake them off his back but he realizes that they are quite a distance away from him with only ten of the blood bats gaining closeness towards him.
He once cast his skill inspection l and realizes that all of the blood bats chasing him are of middle level primitive grade with only exception of the ten blood bats gaining closeness towards him which are of the peak level primitive grade.
Seeing that the chase is not dimming out any minute Leon then decided to activate his skill.

Leon speed doubled as he gained momentum.... Leon almost crashed into trees due to the unexpected speed but after a few seconds he then got a hang of it.
After running for five minutes Leon looked back and realizes that he couldn't see any blood bat in his sight but he still decided to continue running incase the bats catch up to him once again.

Leon stopped running after two more minutes as he collapse on the ground utterly exhausted....he felt like he has just run a marathon, his lungs are burning as his body felt extremely weak and his muscles sore.
It seems like using that much speed comes with a price.... next time I leveled up am putting my attribute points into stamina and endurance.
After thirty minutes of resting Leon was back on his feet as he then inspected his surroundings.... the leafless tress surround Leon thickly as the ground here was extremely dried up like it's been months rain fell there and the place is quite silent utterly unusual for a forest with lots of beast.
Leon continued walking in a straight line and not once did he spotted any creatures nearby.... after walking for thirty minutes he heard a roar from beside him as he turned around he saw a lion like beast but twice the size of a normal one with a blueish body, it's huge mane emitting cold air as well as it's nose, huge claws long enough to tear Leon's head away from his neck in one swipe.
It spotted Leon as it roared fiercely with cold air exiting his large mouth filled with rows of sharp fangs with drool dripping onto the soil... the beast stood there just staring at Leon scanning him from head to toe. Leon felt a shiver run down his spine as he felt the gaze of the beast checking him out, without hesitation he cast his inspection skill at the beast.

Shit! This thing a monster and stronger than me in every point Leon said as he was contemplating if he should run or not but as soon as that thought entered his mind he immediately cast it aside.
No what am I thinking there's no way I would run.... there's just one peak level primitive grade monster. How can I think of running away when I am aiming to become the strongest,a smile creeps up his face as he stared at the monster.... his long black sword appears in his hand as he held it in front of him.
Upon seeing Leon summoning his sword it's mouth twisted slightly into a creepy grin able to cause fear in it's opponent heart before dashing towards Leon with astonishing speed.
Leon upon seeing the monster coming towards him widened his smile as he dashes towards the monster also.

Leon deflected the monsters claw with his sword as he was pushed back a few feet away,he then activated his skill wind steps appearing in front of the monster striking at it's neck.
'CLANK'
Leon widened his eyes in shock as he saw a layer of ice encasing the monsters neck stopping his sword from even cutting the beast.... Leon saw the monster's claws aiming at his waist as he jumped out of the way,he then stared at the monster intently.
This is going to be troublesome that ice is extremely strong Leon thought as he suddenly saw the monster standing on its hind legs raising it's fore legs high into the air before bringing it down the ground.
'BAAAAAM'
A cast of thick ice formed at the feet of the monster where it stomped on before spreading outward towards Leon but he wasn't able to dodge in time before the ice covered his legs holding him in place immobilizing him up to his knees.
The monster appears in front of Leon with it's deadly claws raised towards his neck as Leon raised his sword to defend but the claws still cut his neck slightly.
'AARGH'
Leon screamed in pain while clutching his neck to stop the bleeding as he stared at the monster who has a twisted grin on his mouth.
Leon seeing the grin on the monsters face he became enraged in anger as he gripped his sword tightly as he raised the sword above his head preparing his attack which he recently learned with the use of brass punch.

Leon's black sword glowed with a silver light as he then brandished it in a arc releasing a sharp force beam aiming at the monster... the monster was caught off guard as the beam struck it's belly making a huge cut drawing blood.
'ROOOOOAAARRR'
The monster roared angrily as it charges towards Leon.... Leon immediately directed the force beam at his legs shattering the ice encasing him before dodging the monster's claws.

Both Leon and the monster traded blow after blow....both bleeding profusely and at the same time enjoying the battle, Leon was covered in blood and cut marks with frost covering some part of his body like his left hand and hair...he looked like he just got out of a snow blizzard, the monster too isn't in a good condition as it has wounds oozing blood all over it's body with one of it's legs severally injured.
'BANG'
Both Leon and the monster were sent flying away crashing into trees.... Leon cough up blood as he stood up on his knees using his sword for support, his breathing was ragged and painful...he knew some of his ribs are broken and frost freezing some of his organs. He stared at the monster which even though it's having lots of wounds on its body still stood up like those wounds are nothing but Leon knew that's not the case as the monster is severely injured...it seems using those frost abilities took a toll on it.
Monsters really are intelligent...he doesn't want to appear weak but rather strong so as to shatter my hope of defeating it Leon thought but if a primitive grade monster is this strong then what about other monsters Leon just understand why monsters are feared by humans... not only are they strong but also very intelligent.
Leon still has a trick up his sleeves but he needed the monster to be weakened to use it and now seems to be the time to use it.
Leon dashes towards the monster with his sword drawn and also the monster raised his claws encased in ice making it Sharper... but just as Leon was about to clash with the monster he then activated his skill.

The monster stopped in it's tracks as he looked at Leon surprised.... Leon eyes glowed bright red as a red aura even seen with the naked eyes encased him,he looked more fierce and dominating.... the Aura skill showing it's effect.
The monster shivered slightly as fear slowly gripped his heart while looking at Leon's glowing red eyes, it froze in place without moving but not long after it snapped out of his daze but it was too late as Leon's sword struck it's neck almost severing it but was stopped due to it quickly encasing it's bones in ice.
The damage as been done..... the monster staggered due to immense loss of blood before falling flat on its belly. It's breathing became heavy as it stared at Leon with his red eyes seemingly shocked.
Leon walked towards the monster and stopped in front of it...he looked at the monster without feeling any remorse or pity and not even joy but with a cold look devoid of any emotions, you are one troublesome opponent you know that.... the monster just kept looking at Leon weakly without responding, not that Leon was expecting one before. He continues.. but if there's one thing I have to admit to it's that I have a lot of fun.
The monster mouth creeps up into a smile as it heard what Leon said..... it seems like you have fun too but unfortunately this is where it ends Leon said while standing up raising his sword and severe the monsters head without it resisting.

A cooling feeling enters his body flowing through his entire body healing his injuries slowly..... Leon's bleeding wounds stopped and eventually closed up leaving only slight scar behind, the frost encasing him melted away healing his injuries.
After five minutes Leon was back on his feet as his injuries has almost healed up leaving only some deep wounds which will heal after some time.... after standing up he decided to leave the forest for the day as he's completely exhausted.

Inside a building residing at one of the cities Leon is staying but not same town,a group of six young men with wounds on their faces making it swollen.
