"Do you need help?" Calypso asked with a discreet smile, sensing the Kraken's increasingly rapid approach.
"No, I want to try something." Rigel said.
The next moment he put the crown back on, then jumped straight into the sea, the cold water once more touching his skin as his form transformed into that of a Merman.
Rigel felt the power of the sea fill him, his hands moved as a red glow escaped them like mist, he closed his eyes as his expression grew increasingly angry and the red energy escaping from his hands transformed into a huge vortex sucking in the seawater.
The water began to take shape from the center, growing rapidly.
Ira Maris.
The lamia grew from a few centimeters to tens of meters extremely quickly, its red shape contrasting with the blue water.
Rigel stood behind the colossal figure, nearly 50 meters away. The Lamia roared, a trident growing in one hand and a shield in the other, Rigel's divine power and magic fueling it. The gigantic creature charged at the approaching giant octopus.
Two colossi clashed as Lamia's trident pierced towards the Kraken, striking its paws. The Kraken let out a roar of pain and fury, its tentacles reaching out to seize and strangle Lamia.
Lamia swung her shield, the deep impact breaking the tentacles, making the Kraken roar again.
The Kraken soon discovers that something is wrong, as they fought, for the first time since it had grown, the Kraken had encountered a creature in the sea more powerful than itself.
He wanted to flee, but Lamia's Trident pierced his head directly, the impact causing blood to gush out, staining the sea dark blue.
Just as Rigel was about to finish off this big guy, the Adventure Book opened up in front of him again.

[Kraken (the giant cephalopod) wishes to submit to you, a special condition has been met, you can bind him and make him your familiar.]
[Note that you still need a magic passport to get him out of the Pirates of the Caribbean world. Furthermore, the Kraken was contaminated by the Order, achieving a symbiotic state with Davy Jones' Locker. If it is brought back, although its size will not change, its abilities, such as wandering through the void, will be lost.]
Do you wish to accept?

Rigel looked at the notification with a slightly furrowed brow, causing Ira Maris to stop with some difficulty. He only felt the urge to tear the Kraken into thousands of pieces, but Rigel's Occlumency still worked well, so despite his anger, he managed to control himself.
Thinking for a moment, he felt there wasn't much to take anyway, the Kraken was really big, but he was going to Hogwarts that year, couldn't he put it with the giant squid? Maybe they'd become friends.
At the very least, it could be useful in the future as a food reserve, it was better to have it than not to have it.
"Accept it." Rigel said.
The next moment, Rigel felt the connection, just like when he connected with Jack.
"Master..." The voice, much deeper than Jack's, spoke from the sea, though it sounded extremely tired.
Rigel frowned, seeing the battle wounds, this guy probably wouldn't last much longer.
"Do you want me to heal him?" Calypso appeared beside him, reforming directly from the water. She could feel the new bond between them, so she asked curiously.
"Please." Rigel nodded, even if he used up all the meager potions he had brought, he could hardly save half a tentacle of this guy, let alone his whole body.
Although octopuses have an extremely fast healing rate, the Kraken probably wouldn't last that long.
Calypso smiled at him, advancing towards the Kraken. The Kraken became extremely still near Calypso, it seemed to sense the goddess's power.
Rigel, on the other hand, looked at the Adventure Book, which was displaying 'notifications' again.

[Congratulations writer, for taming the Kraken and receiving the "Monster Tamer - Kraken" achievement]
[Congratulations writer, for receiving the reward: Monster Vitamin (Platinum)]
[Monster Vitamin]
[Rank: Platinum]
[Type: Consumable - Potion]
[Effect: Transforms the drinker's genes into their strongest version, the hidden genes in the drinker's DNA are recombined to transform them into the best version of themselves, geared towards combat and total power. How much the creature can become stronger depends on its own genes.]
[Note: Writer, I strongly suggest you don't drink this if you don't want to look like a monster. The chosen characteristics are completely based on power. In the end, you might not even look human anymore if you try, but feel free to try. However, this cannot be 'cured' because you wouldn't be hurt, you would just have assumed a new form.]
[Note²: However, if you want to try, I bet your adventure would be even more memorable! On second thought, go ahead, writer!]

Rigel stared blankly at the adventure book for a long moment. Rigel thought he sensed a feeling of malice emanating from the book, but he couldn't prove it.
Another consumable potion, this was the second one, but unlike the first one which was only gold, this one was platinum.
However, seeing the effects of this thing, Rigel felt as if he were in front of an online quiz, of the type: 'what if you were Godzilla'.
Rigel just wanted to say that he would sleep the whole time because in his dreams he can forget that he is Godzilla.
Anyone who wanted to drink that Potion could drink it. Rigel thought for a moment and wondered what would happen if he gave that stuff to Jack?
Would the monkey become a cosplay of the Monkey King? Or would it become King Kong directly?
Rigel imagined himself strolling down the street with his King Kong, he couldn't shake the image of one of those fierce dogs that barely fit in the palm of one hand barking at King Kong, only for King Kong to defecate on it.
The day after the news came out in the newspaper: A dog died after drowning in feces...
What if King Kong peed in the street and...
Rigel felt a hand on his shoulder as he snapped out of his intrusive thoughts, looking at Calypso with a neutral expression. He would never admit what he had been thinking moments before, he needed to seal that thought deep within his mind!
He was only certain that he wasn't going to give that potion to Jack!
