As the bullet whizzes past Kyle's face leaving a small cut in his cheek from the air flow alone it blasts through several of the trees behind Lloyd and Kyle destroying them. The dragon man who shot at Kyle stood back and pulled back his hand and pointed the strange weapon up while smoke was coming out of it and he blinked several times.
"A human? why the fuck was i terrified of a human?"
The dragon man mutters to himself while shaking his head and letting out a dry laugh and he puts the weapon in the holster on his thigh. While Lloyd and Kyle glance behind them at the destruction caused by that weapon and shuddered at what would've happened if it hit its intended target. Lloyd turns his gaze back at the group and draws his sword and takes a battle ready stance.
"Brother, why didn't you kill it?"
"No, i definitely aimed at his head dead on but it was like it was pushed away i think it was one of the goddesses protections"
Lloyd listens to the twins' conversation slightly irritated that they were now being completely ignored after being attacked first like that.
"Hey what was that just now was that magic or a weapon? anyways why'd you attack us? we were just trying to converse with you!"
"Why did i attack you? wouldn't you also attack something when you feel threatened? i mean you getting ready to do the same.
"Threatened? we didn't even do anything"
"No but i felt danger from blondie that there that's why i attacked"
The dragon man points at Kyle behind Lloyd who had healed the cut on his cheek and was readying his staff.
"Danger? what for? i didn't even do anything"
The dragon girl, cat girl and giant who were sitting on the ground stood up and readied their weapons feeling a battle was imminent.
"It was like a threat to our survival kind of danger you didn't do anything but you could"
The dragon man put his hand over his weapon on his thigh. The giant who was sleeping behind them suddenly started to stir and woke up.
"Ryuki? whats going on?"
"Hmm? oh just some humans got pissy cuz i attacked them when they were clearly a threat"
"We didn't threaten you"
"You made us feel threatened"
The dragon girl argued back at Kyle.
"If anyone is to feel threatened it's us! you fired off some kind of unknown attack with that weapon of yours on your leg"
{Cease the fighting immediately!}
Kyle suddenly heard a voice in his head.
"But goddess you saw the-"
{I said stop}
"Yes goddess. Lloyd put down your sword, you too please put away your weapons the goddess has demanded it"
"Ha? there's no way we'll do that, what do you mean the goddess demanded it? that's such a load of shit, big bro said you're a threat and threats die!"
The cat girl hits her fists together with a fearless grin causing a shockwave and she suddenly leaps forward with her fist drawn back aimed at Lloyd both Lloyd and Kyle are surprised by the little cat girls fast movement and the strength she produced when her fist connected with the broad side of Lloyd's sword causing cracks to appear on it and him to be sent flying backwards.
"Agghhh damn what's up with that strength"
Lloyd lets out a painful groan as he collides with a destroyed tree steadying himself up with his sword that had a light emanating from it while the cracks disappear this was do to the sword and his armor being able of self healing. Kyle snapped out of his daze from the cat girls strength and speed and cast a healing spell on Lloyd.
"It doesn't seem like you have any major injuries just a cracked rib. please we don't need to fight i can talk directly with the goddesses so please listen to me"
"Vayleen enough"
Aki appeared right behind Vayleen in a flash grabbing her tail while she was jumping forward again causing her to fold in midair in a '<' shape.
"Gohfuu owie why'd you stop me big sis"
Vayleen lets out a surprised and pained groan as her tail is grabbed causing her to be sprung back slightly and she falls on the ground rubbing her butt and making sure her tail is still attached.
"Because Jaxon has confirmed he's telling the truth but the reason the goddesses told us to stop is beyond me"
"Wait so you can talk with goddesses too? that's gre-"
"No i can't i have telepathy skill and it allows me to detect other telepathy channels and i can also hijack them"
The giant correct Kyle as he stands up.
"You have telepathy? no no more than that you can use skills? skills use magic to use and giants don't have any magic power whatsoever. are you not a giant?"
"No i am a giant and i can use magic"
"Enough of the useless chitchat and say why the goddesses told us to stop fighting"
The dragon man crosses his arms and glares at Lloyd and Kyle from behind his visor. The dragon girl picks up the pouting cat girl and walks back over to the dragon man.

"They don't want those two getting killed and it seems the one in white robes is a divine priest and the one in the armor is the hero"
"Ohh no wonder i felt threatened from blondie hes like the incarnation the word holiness itself"

"they also want us to help him. that sounds like fun we'd get to fight strong things right? i'm in"

The giant and the girls say so with a fearless grin while licking their lips.
"haa unbelievable don't just decide that on your own but since Aki and Vayleen are going guess i have no choice, i'll come too."
The dragon man lets out an exasperated sigh and shakes his head.
"well now that that's settled i'd say introductions are in order my name Lloyd i'm the hero."
"i'm Kyle a divine priest"
Lloyd and Kyle give their names while Lloyd puts his sword away and Kyle lowers his staff.
"i am Aki a swordmaster"
She also puts away her swords.
"my name is Vayleen and i'm a martial master"
"Jaxon i'm a grand warrior"

They all give their greetings but the dragon man gives his name reluctantly.
