Three days later, Ryuki and Aki were sleeping while Mio was taking care of the twins with Vayleen.
"so like why did they go and fight the hydra after saying they weren't going to?"
"they thought that by killing it i would accept their feelings and i guess it worked but i still don't think i can date both of them at once."
"how is that a problem?"
"because dating two people at once is wrong"
"how so? there's plenty of people in this world who have more than one spouse"
"in the world i come from dating two people at once is really wrong"
"well no need to worry about that, in this world dating multiple people at once is common"
While Vayleen and Mio were talking the twins started to slowly wake and goes over to beside them.
"hey how are you feeling?"
"like i died and went to heaven"
"are you an angel?"
The twins responded with a serious face which would make one think they rehearsed that bit. As they sat up they pulled Mio onto the bed between them.
"whoa hey what are you doing you just woke up take it easy"
"thank you for the meal"
"time to dig in"
The twins say as they bite Mio's neck and start sucking her blood. just then Lloyd and Kyle walk in.
"hey are they awake ye-"
"we brought back some water and fo-"
Lloyds words are cut off when he witnesses the sight of the twins sucking Mio's blood and Kyle who walked in behind him stopped as well and the twins released Mio who looks like she was about pass out and kissed her at the same time.

"hey what are you doing to her she helped you recover and you almost kill her"
Lloyd rushes over and attempts to pull Mio away from the twins but Vayleen stopped him.
"we were hungry."
"you eat when you're hungry right?"
The twins say as they lick Mio's neck again and it heals the bite mark.
"i-its fine th-they're just replenishing their strength it doesn't hurt me but it does feel weird have my blood sucked out of me like that"
Mio says while she hugs the twins.
"Anyways, so you two have made it here huh?"
"we did you're work for you. be grateful, and you better repay us i lost an eye and Ryuki lost his wing"
Ryuki and Aki break away from the hug and stand up as they take out a change of clothes from their bags that Jaxon had been carrying and was brought into the room by Vayleen. They push out Lloyd and Kyle then get undressed and Ryuki puts on some simple dark gray pants and a brown long sleeve shirt and Aki puts on an ankle length beige skirt and a white t-shirt.
"my back feels uneven now its awkward"
Ryuki says as he flexes his right wing out and whats left of his left one and glances over his shoulder while he wiggles them a little.
"is there any way to heal you? Vayleen said that healing magic hurts you two because you're vampires but is there any other way?"
"nope sadly we're forever wounded but i did hear there are some high quality prosthetics on the dwarven continent that can move normally thanks to telepathy stones maybe they'll have or can make a wing for Ryuki. as for me i just gotta get used to flying with one eye as i'll be doing it for a while since Ryuki's out of commission"
"we need to get some more supplies then we'll be heading back to the beastmen continent to relax and i wanna introduce you to mother and father"
Ryuki says to Mio as he tucks his now single gun the waistband of his pants then he opens the door and Lloyd and Kyle were still there which causes him to make a sour face.
"hey so umm how are you feeling? i heard you needed some more supplies right?"
"im just fine and yeah what about it?"
"well we wanted to repay you for killing the hydra for us so we will pay for everything you need."
Ryuki raises an eyebrow at him and glances alternately between them and walks past them and down the stairs. Lloyd chases after him while Kyle stays behind at the room.
"so umm lets try introductions again i'm Kyle Jinyer a divine priest and my friend is Lloyd Haust he's the hero. We really do hope to get along with you guys not just because the goddesses said so but you also seem interesting and cool."
Kyle bows slightly with a hand on his chest.
"that's nice but we aren't gonna be adventuring for a while, see Ryuki really loved to fly and that last fight did a number on him physically, mentally and emotionally. As for myself i'm also a bit mentally spent i got swallowed and now i have this ghastly scar on my face and a missing eye."
Aki pulls of the bandage on her head that was covering the right side of her face revealing charred dark gray skin and the empty eye socket, Mio attempts to comfort an almost crying Aki by giving her a hug.
Meanwhile Lloyd was following Ryuki who left the inn waving to Jaxon who was sitting outside the inn with the now rotting hydra heads still in his possession and went to an accessory shop.
"so... what are you planning to get here?"
"an eyepatch and some magic tools"
Ryuki answers without much enthusiasm as he starts searching around the shop looking at a couple of interesting things such as some hair ties that are strings pretty red stones on either end of them and Ryuki grabs them off the shelf, a three strapped black eyepatch with a red rose on it, and the set of magic tools consisting of a hammer, saw, pliers, a knife, and a small cylindrical shaped thing that shoots pressurized water from it, Ryuki walks over to the count and as he's about to pay Lloyd walks over and puts a magic bag on the counter and he pays for everything himself.
Ryuki takes his own stuff and leaves the store and heads to another store. This one has artifacts. Artifacts are items that have skills of their own such as stones with telepathy, presence detection, mana detection, or bags with spatial magic and the cheapest is four gold and the average salary of man like Lloyd's father is one silver a year and ten silver equal one gold so it'd take forty years of working to get just one artifact. However since Ryuki has been an adventurer for a hundred seventy years he's black rank the highest adventurer rank he gets a thirty percent discount on anything one gold or more and he's also saved up a lot of money over the years.
As Ryuki and Lloyd look around they see various stones, armors, weapons, clothes and accessories. As they were looking around Lloyd was talking about various monsters he's fought and some other stories that actually made Ryuki laugh a bit and start conversing with him as well.
After buying multiple clothes, stones and a magic bag that is similar in design to a computer bag they head back to the inn and when they get there Ryuki takes the hydra heads from Jaxon and puts them in the magic bag and freezes whats time is left for them so they decompose before he can salvage any materials then they head up the room.
Ryuki takes out the eyepatch and hair ties. he ties back his own hair with one the Aki's while she puts on the eyepatch and he puts the other two an Mio so she has twin tails.
"oh by the way, we'll be traveling with Lloyd from now on"
Ryuki mentions casually while he's putting all their stuff in the magic bag. Aki and Vayleen aren't that surprised because they could tell from the look on his when walked in wasn't irritated but rather uplifted if only slightly but it did surprise Mio and Kyle to the point where they both inadvertently let out a dumbfounded 'hah?'
