Soon it was time for dinner but Aura was still asleep, she had been exhausted from the continuous pleasure that Ethan had give her. He didn't cross the final line, but he came close.
Ethan was already awake, he stroke her hair, admiring her inviting figure. But now he felt a bit guilty, he had done what he thought he wasn't capable of doing but he would not take it back. He loved her, it had only been a short while but he believed he did, he wanted her and he made a resolve to talk to Francis right after he put his plan to discover who was plotting against him to naught.
But what will he do about this little enchantress. He would have to break her heart for a while, and it hurts him to think about it. But she was new to nobility and he didn't want both her and her father embroidered in a scandal while they are yet to be fully established.
" I'm sorry sweetheart." He whispered kissing her. She reacted by hugging him close and whispering " I love you Ethan."

In the Blake residence, Avery Blake was pacing up and down in her room. She didn't want him to feel trapped, but she couldn't bear the thought of him being with someone else. She had loved him for years. She wanted him, she was satisfied watching from afar with the privilege of being with him on various occasion as her family had been friends with his. But now she wanted more, she craved his warmth. She needed him, she always did, but now it's more urgent. She didn't want him with some other girl, Aura was beautiful. That alone made her panic even more. No way. She had to do it, even if he might hate her.
Stepping out of her room she headed for her father's study. He was still on a business meeting, her mom was in there as well serving him tea. She waited as it seemed the meeting was soon coming to an end.
Mrs. Blake was surprised to see her daughter there. She usually doesn't take the initiative to show up and see them. She was more of the kind of person to care in silence. It made her heart ache for her. She might think she does a good job hiding it, but everyone observing her would know that she loves Duke Francis. That included her husband and herself. She'd always known her daughter had loved Francis for years. So what she said next after her husband was done didn't surprise her that much.
" Dad, I want an arranged marriage." Avery said looking a bit nervous.
" With who?" Her dad asked surprised.
" Francis."
Duke Blake was stunned, then glanced at his wife who blinked in response.
" Why so suddenly?" Her mom asked sitting beside her and taking her hands in hers.
Avery looked down, she was sad but she tried not to show it.
" He, I don't want him to fall for someone else." She replied.
" Elaborate" her dad asked her looking serious.
She explained the situation in school plus those based on her observation.
" I'll think about it" he replied dismissing her.
Her mother followed her out to get more info from her.
