I gave speech that l would give as the normal me,short and snappy. I know you will end up saying is a long speech but regardless is not for anyone that will get that bored cause l got a face.
After the assembly in the auditorium,l left for my class together with Mica
Mica hs always been a childhood friend ,we grew up with our parents knowing each other and people most times thought we are couples but we are not ,am sorry to say Mica is not my idea type.
After an hour and half ,l decided to leave for the cafeteria.
"Paslyn,are you going to the cafeteria?"Mica asked as she hurriedly packed her books into her bag .
"Yeah ,and You?" I replied her
"I will join you cause am quite hungry"she said coming to where l was standing.
"So ??,"she started .
"What?"l asked her interrupting
"Am going to ask you a question but is always you and your character emerging"she said laughing
If the only thing l like about Mica is the way she laugh for unfunny things.
"But,l have told you several times that am not interested in getting one" l said to her.
We entered into the cafeteria and a girl barged into me but she didn't stop rather she ran off .l looked up and saw Richard with his friends.
"Why are they in that place ?"l asked no one in particular.
"I bet that he hit on that girl "Mica said sighing
I tried to picture who the girl is but was interrupted by Mica who called the name
"Purevarne,the new girl" she said.
Our attention was called by cleaner who came to report that there are some students at the back of the school compound,from there the chasing in started.
I will surely get to talk to that girl.
Steven's POV
I knew when she left the class that it wouldn't end up in laugh .lt with either she is crying or she will be in a deep thought of what she has said to them.
Having stayed with her for past days ,l learnt that she can easily run into trouble due to the way she talks .She can't restrain her self from saying what is Infront of her or will l say she is so stubborn.
I stood up from my chair and left to the cafeteria,l was quietly walking down to the path that leads to it when l saw Pure running down to the left path ,l followed suite .l decided to call her name but l wavered the thought of calling her name what use will it be for her.l saw her sit on the outdoor field bench with her head buried in her hands.
I sat down at the chair opposite to her watching her silently
I could hear her whisper through her sober what the heck she has done .She looked up after some minutes.
"I...sa..w you com....ing he...re so l followed you"l stammered.
I felt like someone who has done something very bad but l was trying to help out not cause pain.
She smiled "l wasn't crying and what's with your stammering"she said .
Her dimples came out even though her cheeks looks stiff .
"Can we go to the class now ?"she said dragging my hand.
"Thank you for paying attention"she said turning to me .
I blushed so hard that she noticed.
"You blushed"she said teasingly
"No,l didn't"l replied trying to cover the tracks up .
"I swear ,l saw your cheeks turn red "she added.
"Is just that my flaw comes up through my cheeks"l said holding my face into my hands.
She was laughing so badly that l felt embarrassed.
I blushed for her .
