Avern's POV
Am starting school today and am kinda of nervous as it is my new class in the school.ln Junior secondary 2 ,and things have definitely changed from my side .
My position last term was not bad as l perceive is going to be this term but nevertheless am not failing
I dashed into the bathroom and had my bath .lt was a very quick one l will say
,l brushed my hair and packed it into a pony tail,wore my school uniform which is a skirt ,a white shirt ,l pulled out my school tie and my blazer which is blue matching with the dark blue skirt l was wearing, that's a typical outfit for my school
I carried my backpack which l have arranged last night.
I went doorstairs and Pure was already at the dinning table.l signed before exchanging any greeting with her .
"She looks like a nice person"l said to myself."maybe,l should give myself an opportunity to ... what ever l can't be bothered"l added to my previous thought.
I drank my cup of tea ,and hurriedly swallowed my scrambled egg.l saw Pure leaving the front yard into the car . Because we are going to the same school.
I dashed to the car park l opened the left side door and saw Pure in my sitting position.
"Pure,can you not sit here?"l said to her
She looked at me and shifted to the right side.l then sat down and throughout the ride to school she didn't say anything,just on how phone .it was an awkward drive to school but yeah ,l care less about any one .

Pure's POV
It is the next morning,l did what l feel and believe is now part of me.
I wrote to my diary about what l remembered that actually happened yesterday ticking in the date and the time on it.
I dressed up in my school uniform and left downstairs for breakfast,l looked around and didn't see Avern but shortly after l sat down l saw her come into the dinner room.l looked at her and smile but she didn't respond.l left for the car and sat at the left side of the passenger seat,she opens it and told me to move which l did.
We reached the school compound,Avern was first dropped as her set building is actually close the school gate entrance.
My own school building is at the end of the hill.
The car came to a halt and l wavered goodbye to the driver.
"Hi,Pure" l turned to the side where the voice is coming from
"Hi"l replied.The voice with the face was now very clear to me and l notice it was Jennie ,she was coming from the staff office
"Am just coming from the staff room to get the form from our form tutor" she said smiling
"Oh,okay"l replied nonchalantly
"So,are you going to the classroom?"she asked me
"Yeah?"l answered her in the midst of confusion
"Today the elected prefects are being given the authority, let's go cheer them up"she said smiling.From what l know this stands as the day where we finds out the NEPA(Non-elected Prefect Assocation), people who are not elected due to their school records.
"That sounds fun, let's go "l made a U-turn and off we made it out to the auditorium.
Names where called out and everyone was clapping .The total elected prefects were 34 with their assistants .I noticed the person that bullied me ,Richard , sitting without a badge ,l smiled to myself facing down when l looked up l caught him smiling at me
"Hmmh,that smile looks suspicious and dangerous"l muttered but returned the smile with a dagger mean smile
