He rests in the beauty of our love,

Heaven watches from above,
Yet not for a show, but for celebration.
A covenant settled and established is a joyous occasion.
After the wedding day, after the beginning stages,
We have built a sure foundation,
For ages,
A beautiful part of creation.
A husband, a wife,
United together,
Living out life,
Forever till the coming age.
We are known to each other.
Not strangers,
But deeply enmeshed with one another,
Weathering outside forces and the dangers,
Always together and God at our center.
He is mine, and I am His.
