3 As the apple tree among the trees of the wood, so is my beloved among the sons. I sat down under his shadow with great delight, and his fruit was sweet to my taste.
4 He brought me to the banqueting house, and his banner over me was love.
5 Stay me with flagons, comfort me with apples: for I am sick of love.
6 His left hand is under my head, and his right hand doth embrace me.
I never have to worry when you're away,
I never have to wonder what you've been up to all day.
My heart is safe with you, too.
Your love is Sweeter than the honeycomb, fresher than morning dew.
You protect me and shield me from all harm,
You stand beside me proudly,
I take your hand gladly,
You're all, fine lines and charm, and I'm hooked.
You hold me in your arms, tender and sweet,
I'm reminded of the gentleness from the first time we met.
We weren't married yet,
You worried I would break if you breathed too harshly.
