THYME POV
"Miss Mariano is pregnant."
The doctor's words made the entire room fall silent.
For a few seconds, nobody moved.
Nobody even breathed properly.
I looked around and saw the same shock on everyone's faces.
But something about the doctor's expression felt… off.
Like he still had something else to say.
Ren noticed it too.
"There's something else, right?" he asked seriously.
The doctor adjusted his glasses before speaking again.
"Yes… Miss Mariano is pregnant." He paused. "But she's carrying quadruplets."
"What?!" the girls shouted at the same time.
Even Kevin almost choked beside me.
The doctor nodded carefully.
"Yes. Four babies."
Tia immediately stepped forward.
"Can we see her?"
"She's still unconscious," the doctor answered, "but yes, you can."
Gorya nodded.
"Okay. We girls will talk to her first. Boys, stay outside for now."
Kaning crossed her arms lightly.
"After that, you can come in."
Tia suddenly looked at me.
"Thyme, inform Mom."
"I will."
The girls entered Jay's room while we stayed outside.
And honestly…
None of us knew what to feel.
Shock.
Worry.
Fear.
Confusion.
Everything was mixed together.
GORYA POV
We quietly entered the room.
Jay was lying peacefully on the hospital bed, completely unaware that her entire life had changed.
Machines beeped softly around her while sunlight slowly entered through the curtains.
After a few minutes, she started stirring.
Her eyes slowly opened.
"Where… am I?" she whispered weakly.
"In the hospital," Tia answered gently.
Jay frowned slightly.
"Why?"
"You fainted," Kaning said softly. "You really need to take care of yourself."
I looked at Jay carefully before speaking.
"And now… you're not only taking care of yourself anymore."
Jay looked confused.
"What do you mean?"
Tia took a deep breath.
"Jay…"
"You're pregnant."
The room became silent again.
Jay froze completely.
Then Kaning quietly added—
"With quadruplets."
Jay's eyes widened in shock.
For a second, she looked completely speechless.
Then slowly…
A small smile appeared on her face.
But it didn't last long.
Sadness quickly replaced it.
"Are… are you angry at me?" she asked quietly.
My chest hurt hearing that question.
"We were shocked," I admitted honestly. "But angry? No."
"Never," Kaning added immediately.
Jay looked down at her hands.
"But… what about Mom?"
"Thyme already told her," Tia reassured her. "She's worried about you, not angry."
Silence filled the room again.
There was still one question bothering all of us.
Jay noticed immediately.
"Ask it."
"Huh?" Kaning blinked.
"You want to ask who the father is."
None of us answered.
But our silence was enough.
Jay looked away before speaking softly.
"It happened on New Year's Eve… during my engagement with Yuri."
The three of us stayed quiet.
"I don't know how it happened," she continued. "But me and Keifer… we lost control."
I carefully stepped closer.
"Did he force you?"
Jay immediately shook her head.
"No."
I let out a breath I didn't realize I was holding.
"Then that's what matters most."
Kaning smiled softly at her.
"You should rest for now. You'll probably be discharged soon."
Jay nodded slowly.
I turned toward the door.
"I'll tell the boys."
Outside, all the boys immediately stood up the second they saw me.
"How is she?" Thyme asked quickly.
"She's okay," I answered. "She was mostly worried that all of you would hate her."
Ren frowned instantly.
"We're not angry."
"We're worried," MJ added quietly.
Thyme sighed and rubbed his face.
"And Mom almost bought the entire hospital because she was panicking."
Kevin snorted.
"She already contacted half the city for extra doctors."
Even in that tense moment, we laughed a little.
Then MJ's expression turned serious.
"Did she tell you who the father is?"
The hallway became silent again.
"Yes," I answered carefully. "It's Keifer."
Their expressions changed immediately.
"But no," I added quickly, "she wasn't forced."
That made everyone relax slightly.
Thyme nodded slowly.
"Okay. We're going inside."
Before I could stop them, all of them rushed toward the room.
I sighed before following after them.
JAY POV
The moment the boys entered the room, guilt immediately hit me.
"I'm sorry…"
Before I could say anything else, Thyme walked over and hugged me tightly.
Then Ren, Kevin, and MJ joined him.
The sudden warmth almost made me cry.
"You're not angry?" I whispered.
Kevin pulled away first.
"Of course not."
"We're worried about you," MJ said softly.
Ren nodded.
"You're family."
I felt tears burn my eyes.
Then Thyme suddenly looked at me carefully.
"Do you want to tell Keifer?"
The room became quiet again.
I slowly placed my hand on my stomach.
"No."
Everyone looked at me.
"He lied to me," I whispered. "I'll take care of them myself."
I smiled weakly.
"I'll be both their mother and father."
Ren gently squeezed my shoulder.
"It's okay. We won't force you."
The mood became lighter when Thyme suddenly grinned.
"But I'm definitely becoming the coolest and most handsome Tito."
Kevin immediately scoffed.
"You? You'll only teach them how to steal snacks."
"I'm the reliable one," Ren argued.
MJ walked beside me dramatically.
"None of you stand a chance. I'll obviously be the favorite Tito."
Despite everything happening around me…
I laughed.
A real laugh.
And somehow, for the first time since waking up—
I felt less scared.
GORYA POV
Hearing Jay laugh again made my chest feel strangely warm.
A good kind of warm.
I crossed my arms proudly.
"And if any of these so-called titos bully the babies, we titas will handle them."
Kaning pointed at Kevin immediately.
"Especially you."
Kevin raised both hands dramatically.
"Aye aye, captain."
Thyme looked betrayed.
"Hey! Aren't you on our side?"
"Thyme," I warned.
He immediately surrendered.
"Okay, okay. We're on your side."
"Good answer," Tia said proudly.
Right then, the doctor entered the room again.
"I have good news," he said with a smile. "Both the mother and babies are healthy. She can be discharged today."
The boys immediately volunteered to handle the discharge papers.
After a while, we finally headed home.
But during the entire ride…
Jay stayed quiet.
Probably still trying to process everything.
JAY POV
The second we entered the house, Mom rushed toward me and hugged me tightly.
"My baby…"
I froze slightly.
"You're… not angry?"
She immediately pulled away and held my face gently.
"No."
Her eyes looked teary.
"I'm worried about you."
My chest tightened.
"Whatever happens from now on, you tell us immediately. If you feel sick, uncomfortable, tired, hungry—anything—you tell us."
"I will, Mom," I whispered.
Then another thought hit me.
"What about university?"
Mom sighed softly.
"You'll attend normally for the first month. After that, you'll continue online."
I nodded slowly.
"Okay."
Then Mom suddenly looked at everyone else.
"And all of you are staying here."
The boys blinked.
"I already spoke to your parents," she continued. "They agreed."
Then she looked at Gorya and Kaning.
"You two ask your parents too."
Both girls nodded immediately.
I looked at Mom in confusion.
"Why?"
"Because you need people around you right now."
Her voice was gentle but firm.
"You're not doing this alone."
I felt my eyes sting again.
Mom kissed my forehead softly.
"Now go rest."
I quietly went upstairs to my room.
The moment I laid down on my bed, exhaustion finally took over.
As I slowly drifted to sleep…
My hand rested protectively over my stomach.
And for the first time—
I wondered what kind of future awaited all five of us.
