"What the fuck?" I echoed out loud, my eyes still pinned on the phone."
"What happened?" Eric asked at once, frowning.
"They said they found her bloodied clothes." I breathed, a whirling sound settling in my ear, my entire insides growing numb.
What the fuck?
"How the hell did that happen?" Violet cried, her eyes blown wide. "Is she alright?"
My eyes zeroed in on Violet and all the anger I was feeling a moment ago instantly tripled.
"Let's just wait for the guards to arrive, perhaps those clothes aren't even for her." Eric spoke tentatively at the same moment, his eyes on me.
With my eyes still on Violet, I dialed Jett's number. "Are you sure those clothes are here?" I asked as soon as he accepted the call.
"I believe so, your majesty." He responded and my jaw clenched tightly, those words echoing through my mind. For some reason; I didn't wanna believe those words.
"And your majesty? It was found in the forbidden forest."
