I breathed in the smell of my pack, feeling my wolf rumble within me. My entire body hurt and I feel like I definitely need a lot of sleep.
I was in the pack's town square, staring at all the pack menbers who had come out to welcome me.
"As per tradition, the king's wife would come welcome him home. Where is she?" My beta asked all the guards who came from the pack to welcome me home.
I didn't give a fuck about this outdated tradition, however, I need the pack to start seeing ivory as my Luna, hence why all of this is important for now.
All the guards didn't move, and I frowned.
"Where is she?"
"Um, the Luna has ran away, my king." One of them guards whispered in response, quiet enough so none of the on lookers overheard.
"What??" I roared, something ugly instantly flaring within my chest. All the guards paled at once, their scents filling with fear.
"What's wrong?" Eric questioned from behind me as he came to stand beside me.
