My eyes widened as those words washed over me.
"Anabel, you're a genius!" I echoed, grabbing her arms.
Her eyes regarded me wearily. "I am?"
"Of course! At least now I know she's not dead." I echoed, relieve rushing into my lungs. At least now I know she's alive even if I don't know her location.
"Can you feel where she is? Can we trace her location with your magic?" I asked next and she slowly shook her head, a small sigh leaving her mouth.
"Unfortunately, I can't feel that."
A wave of disappointment event through me before I sighed and nodded slowly. "Regardless, thank you for your help."
She nodded and was already walking before before I stopped her
"What actually happened while I was away? You know all that went down, don't you?" I asked as she faced me again, her lips in a thin line.
"I don't think you want to actually know, Auden." She breathed, her eyes holding mine steadily.
I blinked slowly. "What do you mean?"
