Chapter 22 - Chapter 22: The Dungeon Ticket

The morning sun rose over the island, casting a golden light across the expanded territory. The Lumina Sky Elves were already at work, their gentle magic helping the gardens bloom faster. Kojima Ren stood on the watchtower with his companions, feeling the quiet rhythm of daily life. The nerf from the Gods still limited his rolls, but the kingdom was growing steadily.

Suddenly, a bright System window appeared in front of every player across the sky.

You may choose one dungeon to enter. The difficulty levels are:

Good luck, Players.

Kojima read the announcement carefully. His eyes lingered on the Nightmare option. He knew it was the hardest, but the potential rewards could give his kingdom a massive boost.

Kojima: This is a big opportunity. I'm going to pick the hardest one — Nightmare. We need the best rewards if we want to keep growing safely.

Sylphira stood right beside him, her long red hair swaying in the breeze. She looked at him with warm golden eyes, her voice gentle but firm.

Sylphira: Master… if you choose Nightmare, I'll go with you. I'll protect you with everything I have. I support your decision completely.

Mira leaned against his other side, her violet eyes sparkling with excitement.

Mira: Master~ The hardest one? That sounds thrilling. I'm in. I'll make sure we have some fun while we're there.

Vaelor bowed elegantly, his crimson eyes gleaming with mischief.

Vaelor: Master, Nightmare difficulty? Excellent choice. I shall provide dramatic protection and stylish combat support. If we die, at least it will be a very theatrical exit.

Kojima smiled at their responses. He selected the Nightmare dungeon on his System window.

[Ding! You have chosen Nightmare Difficulty Dungeon.]

[You and your servants will be transported in 10 minutes.]

[Prepare well. Good luck.]

The group quickly gathered what they needed. Sylphira stayed close to Kojima, her hand finding his as they waited. Mira teased him lightly to keep the mood light. Vaelor made a few witty remarks while checking their supplies.

Ten minutes later, a bright portal opened in front of them. The System's voice echoed.

[Ding! Transporting to Nightmare Dungeon now.]

The world flashed white, and they were pulled inside.

They appeared in a dark, ancient floating ruin. The air was heavy with magic. Strange glowing runes covered the walls, and distant roars echoed through the corridors.

Kojima looked around, feeling the tension in the air.

Kojima: This place feels dangerous. Stay close, everyone. We'll clear it together.

Sylphira nodded, her red hair glowing faintly as she prepared her flames.

Sylphira: Master… I'm right here. I won't let anything happen to you.

Mira cracked her knuckles with a confident grin.

Mira: Let's make this interesting, Master. I'm ready to show these ruins what we can do.

Vaelor's shadows lengthened around him as he smiled faintly.

Vaelor: Master, the stage is set. Let the performance begin.

The dungeon stretched out before them — dark corridors, hidden traps, and powerful monsters waiting in the shadows. The Nightmare difficulty had begun.
