Jay's pov
Lunch. It was amazing. Mumma was back along with tita Gemma.
They both had made lenchon. Yummy. I was so happy after seeing the dining table.
Aries was with Ella, so he wasn't there for lunch. Kuya Angelo was outside. He had some work.
So it was only me, mumma, and tita for lunch. I sat down but waited for mumma and tita before starting.
After lunch one of the maids came to me and gave me a buquet of flowers. I asked who it was from.
"He asked me not to tell you. Only that there i a note and to give it to you miss." She replied.
I nodded and smiled at her. She immediately smiled back, and went back to picking up the table.
Mumma and tita were in the garden. They didn't see me get these.
I quickly took the flowers to my room and opened the note inside the envelope attached.
"I love you. My wife. My life. My everything. - K" i knew exactly who it was from now.
I took out my phone and typed a message.
Message To:
Hari ~ Why did you send flowers?
I waited for a reply but it didn't come. I put my phone away and put the flowers on my bedside.
I walked to my desk and opened the last draw. There was a whole stack of chocolates and sweets.
I took one out, counted the rest, and closed it. I ate the one i took out and put the wrapper in the bin.
I was about to lay on my bed when i heard a known on my door.
I opened it and saw the face of death. It was kuya Angelo but his face is the face of death.
"Kuya you're back. Did you need anything." I asked a few seconds later.
"No no, i just came to tell you that Kiefer asked. And said you're only ok with it if i am." He said.
"Kuya if you say no i don't mind. If you need me to marry Yuri i will do it." I said. Fear clearly visible in my voice.
"Jay I don't need you to marry anyone. I just need you to be happy. If you are happy with Kiefer then i wont stop you, but..if he hurts you. You come to me immediately. No talking. No trying to figure it out yourself. If he hurts you. I will make sure he is dead " he said threat present in his tone.
"Yes kuya" i nodded "Thank you"
"Why are you saying thank you to me for wanting you to be happy" he asked."If you are happy. That's what matters"
I nodded. He left and closed the door. I opened my phone to message the king to tell him.
Message To:
Hari ~ Kuya said yes. So i am fine with us being official.
Message From:
Hari ~ Really. Ok, get ready. I will pick you up for dinner by eight.
So now he replied, but when i asked him why he sent flowers he was just clueless. This idiot really knows who to get on my nerves.
Message To:
Hari ~ Why. No i will have dinner at home thank you very much.
Message From:
Hari ~ Jay it is a celebration. Angelo said he was ok with our relationship. And your officially mine. No arguments, get ready.
I was stunned by his message. He just called me his. I am not some item that can be owned by anyone.
It was fifteen past four when we stopped messaging. I had plenty time to get ready.
I put an alarm for seven pm and went to sleep.
I woke up to the sound of knocking on my door, no the expected alarm.
I checked the time. It was five thirty seven.
I got up and opened the door. I was greeted by the face of none other than the horescope.
"What were you doing. I have been out here for five whole minutes." Was the first thing he said.
"What do you think. I was taking a nap." I replied annoyed.
"Nap? At this time? Whatever, come down kuya wants to talk to you." He said
"Coming, let me freshen up." I said and closed the door before he could say anything else.
I freshened up and walked downstairs. Kuya was sitting in his armchair by the sofa, his ipad in his hand.
"Kuya Aries said you wanted to talk to me." I said
He didn't look up from his ipad he just replied with a calm face. "Yes, i wanted to ask if you told Kiefer yet?"
"Yes kuya " i replied
"Good. I heard he is taking you to dinner. Be careful." He said
"Mhm" i said. Nothing else came out
"I also wanted to ask on how you plan to tell your mumma and tita and Aries. For your classmates i think you should discuss with Kiefer but i think you should tell you mother soon."
"I actually planed to tell them on dinner tonight but that is not possible anymore. I think i will tell everyone tomorrow morning at breakfast. I will also have a clear mind for school." I said.
He nodded. I went back to my room and started to get ready.
I wore a navy blue dress with black sandals. I put my hair up in a lose bun. I added blue Sapphire earrings. Small studded ones.
I applied some powder and blusher, along with a little lipgloss.
I was still early so i decided to review for the upcoming exam on Wednesday and Thursday.
We were told the exam was split into two to make it easier for the students.
I reviewed till seven fifty one.
I got a call from none other than the king of the ulupongs.
~On call~
Kiefer ~ I am outside. Come fast.
Jay ~ Ok ok coming calm down.
~Call ended~
I walked downstairs ant told the maids to tell anyone if then asked that i was out for dinner with my classmates.
I walked out the door and through the gate.
I saw his black jeep parked right outside, in front of the gate. Not far away like before but right in front.
"You look stunning " he said. He was wearing a suit. Dark smoke grey. The one he wore for the festival.
"Thank you, you looke handsome as well" i replied.
"Ready?" He asked holding out his hand
"Ready." I replied putting my hand in his
He took me to the other side on the car and helped me in the passenger seat.
He walked back to his side of the car and got in the driver seat. He reached over my shoulder and grabbed the seatbelt and clipped it for me.
"I can do that very well myself thanks" i said.
"Yes you can but now it is my job." He clipped his own seatbelt.
Before starting the engine, he grabbed my hand and intertwined our fingers. I didn't pull back. I just did the same.
He kissed me on the forehead and started the engine.
We drove off into the night.
