Chapter 10 - Class President

The next day started as a hectic mess since a gaggle of reporters was busy harassing students who were trying to get in.

"Want a lift? I should be able to get you over the barrier." I asked Shoto as he shook his head, merely turning the air around him colder as the reporters made some distance to get away from the freezing air.

Spotting a few others from class 1-A getting mobbed, I went over. "Need some help?" I asked Izuku and Ochako as Ida gave the reporters a dissertation about the morals U.A students were expected to uphold.

They nodded, so I gave them room by extending my wings. I got them through before going back for Ida. Once I finished that, I hovered above the gate looking for any other 1-A students when a waving hand stuck out from behind the crowd, it was Sasha.

I flapped over as the reporters kept harassing other students. "Need a ride?" I asked as she nodded, holding out her hands as I indulged her. I started out lifting her by her arms, before she finagled her way into a bridal-carry as I took us over the barrier.

"Thanks, tiger!" Sasha planted a quick kiss on my cheek before running off as I tried not to blush, and failed. I snapped out of it and raced after her since class was about to begin soon anyway.

Once Aizawa got everyone to settle down, he wrote two words on the board. 'CLASS PRESIDENT' Shouting followed as everyone tried to prove they were the most suited for the job; eventually, Ida was able to shout loud enough that he was heard.

"Enough! We shall decide who attains this position by a democratic vote!" He declared as Mina looked skeptical. "Wouldn't everyone just vote for themselves? We don't know each other that well yet." She said as Ida nodded. "Then whoever wins shows that they've gained our trust and are worthy to lead the class!"

"I don't care how you do it, just pick someone before class ends," Aizawa said as he fell asleep in the corner. Ida then took charge, handing out paper for everyone to cast their votes. A few minutes later, Shoto was given the job to count since he couldn't care less about who won.

"The total comes out to this. Five votes for Micah, four for Yaoyorozu. Everyone else voted for themselves." Micah was pleasantly surprised at this. "Who voted for me?" He asked as Sasha, Izuku, Ochako, and Ida raised their hands.

"I did as well," Shoto smirked before taking his seat as Micah and Yaoyorozu took the podium. "Well, I didn't expect this. I voted for Yaoyorozu." Micah admitted, as a few others nodded. "Regardless, I'll do my best to represent the class and make sure that we have everything we need to succeed."

Polite applause followed as Aizawa woke up once more. He continued with their lesson for the day before Present Mic arrived for English. Micah and Sasha did well, with Shoto and Yaoyorozu right behind them. The others struggled a bit but powered through since the next part of their day was lunch!

"I still can't get over how good this food is!" Micah nearly cried as he tore into his steak. Although Lunchrush had a set menu each day, he still took special requests if you got in line quickly enough.

"I can cook too, you know." Sasha said before grinning, "I can cook for you every day if you want~" She said as Micah considered it. "Make me a couple of meals, if I like it, you can be my chef for life." She shoved him and took the last of his steak.

Before he could retaliate, an alarm suddenly screamed as bright red lights started flashing. "What's going on?!" Yaoyorozu asked an upperclassman who almost didn't stop. "That's the level three alert! It means villains are on campus!"

The three of them then stood and would have gotten swept away by the current if Micah hadn't made room for them with his wings. "Thanks, tiger," Sasha said as they got closer to the window, where they'd spotted Izuku's group a second ago.

"Huh, it's just a bunch of reporters," Sasha mumbled as they looked out the window and saw the reporters running around like headless chickens. Before they could do anything else, someone suddenly went flying over the mass of students.

"EVERYONE CALM DOWN!" Ida shouted from above the door frame as everyone froze. "It's just the media. Calm down and act like proper U.A students, stop running and shoving so that we can all get outside quicker."

That seemed to calm things down as the mass of students slowly filed outside before several teachers came over to them to let them know it was safe to return to class. As we filed back into the classroom, I noticed a certain someone seemed nervous.

"Alright, now that we're all here, let's begin the lesson." We didn't get to talk much since the teachers put us to work, which was fine, but Sasha kept smacking my head with her tail, making it hard to focus.

Seeing I wasn't reacting, Sasha switched to hitting my leg and arm closest to her before my hand shot out and gently grabbed her tail. She jolted and tried to rip it away, but I held onto it firmly as I caressed the furry appendage.

"Let go!" She hissed when the teacher's back turned, and I ignored her, enjoying the look on her face. "Oh, how the turns tabled." I grinned as her face slowly turned increasingly darker shades of red.

Once the final bell rang, I released her tail, and it flew out and returned to her as she packed her bags in a hurry. "You two are very strange." Yaoyorozu's voice was drowned out by the chaos of the class, but we still heard it.

"She started it!"

"He started it!"

She grinned as we pointed accusing fingers at each other, as Mina squealed. "You two are adorable!" Yaoyorozu nodded sagely as Shoto walked over, pointedly ignoring Sasha's still red face. "Ready to go?" I nodded as we left the classroom.

As we did, I could feel Sasha's gaze burning a hole in the back of my head. Another pair of eyes watched me leave, as well as Yaoyorozu, Sasha, and Mina started talking.

As we walked home, I kept trying to forget the feeling of being around Sasha and remembered the ticket I got for winning my match yesterday. It was nothing special, just a Random Bronze Ticket, but neither Shoto nor I was talking, so why not?

[Exorcists Light]

|Uncommon Ability|

Allows you to conjure and emit an exorcising light, while utterly useless against any normal beings, it is incredibly useful against any dark or unholy beings.

While not the most useful thing in MHA, it could be useful if I somehow got a skill that let me go wherever, and I happened to land somewhere like JJK, or 40k. Though I dread the idea of being trapped in the 41st millennium.

The rest of the walk home was pretty uneventful. We made it home the same time we always do and enjoyed a meal with Fuyumi and Natsuo today as we shared the events of the day. They were a bit worried when we told them about the break-in, even if it was just media, they shouldn't have been able to break past the U.A Barrier.

I rolled that piece of knowledge in my head for hours after dinner, even Sasha's constant flood of texts couldn't distract me this time. I knew who really broke down the barrier, I knew who was coming for us, I knew who was behind them. I just didn't know if anyone would believe me.

Yes, I could probably give them a detailed account of most of the LOV's plans in the coming year, but I couldn't prove that I wasn't one of them. Just like I couldn't prove how I knew all of that without sounding absolutely insane.

So the best I could do was stay prepared, because when things finally hit the fan, no one would be safe. The least I could do was also warn a few people close to me, which ended up being Shoto, Yaoyorozu, and Sasha.

Shoto took it in stride, so I have no idea if he took my 'bad feeling' seriously, but Yaoyorozu seemed to think about it for a moment before promising to keep it in mind. Sasha actually listened and didn't just tease me, none of the usual 'Aww look how worried you are about me~ Do you wanna hug?'

She listened and promised to be careful, right before sending me the photos she'd taken of Yaoyorozu the day before. They were interesting to say the least, and I had to take my eyes away as Sasha grinned from the FaceTime screen.

"Where did you even learn to tie people up like that?" I asked, and she shrugged, "Don't worry about it. You might end up like Momo." Spotting the picture of Sasha pressing her body against Yaoyorozu, who had no way of fighting back, it really didn't seem that bad.

"Sorry for grabbing your tail by the way. You were distracting me." I said as she nodded, "Took you long enough! I can't believe you just grabbed my tail and had your way with it!" "Hey! Don't say that, it sounds weird!" She stuck her tongue out as we chatted for a few more hours before finally going to sleep, not even realizing we'd never hung up.
