Chapter 912: Confused, Who is the Clown? The Family's First Appearance
[Nene Saikyo]: "Hey, hey, hey, what is going on here?"
She stared at the holographic interface floating in front of her, completely bewildered. How did she just get sold out by Kurono out of nowhere?
[Kurono Shinguji]: "Didn't you want to know where my power came from? It was given to me by Ren."
[Nene Saikyo]: "???"
[Nene Saikyo]: "Are you seriously not joking right now? A Chat Group that connects multiple different worlds... Don't try to fool me!"
[Shizuku Kurogane]: "It is just a fact. No one is trying to fool you."
[Ayase Ayatsuji]: "Yes, it is all true!"
[Stella Vermillion]: "Tch. Who has the free time to play stupid games with you?"
[Stella Vermillion]: "It is an absolute honor for you to even be invited in. Honestly, if it were up to me, I wouldn't want some old woman stinking up the place."
[Nene Saikyo]: "Old woman... Are you talking about me?!!!"
[Stella Vermillion]: "Hmph. If not you, then who else?"
[Nene Saikyo]: "What about her?! Kurono Shinguji!"
[Stella Vermillion]: "She is, first and foremost, our sister. Secondly, she is our respected Chairperson. What about it?"
[Nene Saikyo]: "???"
Her eye twitched. So, because she wasn't part of their little inner circle, she was automatically branded as the 'old woman'?
[Nene Saikyo]: "Fine. If you people are really as powerful as you claim, then go defeat that monster that appeared over Tonrou Academy and prove it!"
[Kurono Shinguji]: "Tonrou Academy? Monster? What are you talking about?"
[Nene Saikyo]: "You don't know?"
[Kurono Shinguji]: "I was a bit busy being thoroughly filled up in an alternate dimension."
[Nene Saikyo]: "..."
Nene's mouth twitched violently. She slowly turned her head to look at Kurono, who was standing right beside her in the physical world, delivering such a scandalous statement with an utterly calm, deadpan expression. For a brief, terrifying second, Nene genuinely wanted to crack her skull open just to see exactly what kind of degenerate thoughts were bouncing around inside.
[Nene Saikyo]: "Not long ago, a giant sword—one estimated to possess enough destructive force to wipe out an entire continent—materialized directly above Tonrou Academy. Although it vanished in an instant, that absolutely had to be the power of an unfathomably strong Blade Arts User."
[Kurono Shinguji]: "Oh? Such a thing happened?"
[Nene Saikyo]: "Hmph!"
[Nene Saikyo]: "Undoubtedly, the person capable of wielding such apocalyptic power is a truly despair-inducing existence."
[Ayase Ayatsuji]: "Uh..."
[Shizuku Kurogane]: "Haha, yes. She must be a truly powerful existence."
[Stella Vermillion]: "Indeed. You are entirely right."
[Nene Saikyo]: "Huh? Why are you all acting so strange?"
Just a second ago, they were relentlessly mocking her. Now, they were all nodding along and agreeing with her? Something was incredibly fishy here.
[Stella Vermillion]: "Puhahaha! I really can't hold it in anymore. Ayase, this Teacher Nene Saikyo sounds like she really, really admires you."
[Ayase Ayatsuji]: "Ugh, it is all Ren's doing..."
[Nene Saikyo]: "What... are you all talking about?!"
She was completely lost. A heavy sense of helplessness washed over her, the distinct, uncomfortable feeling of being the only person in the room who didn't get the joke.
[Shizuku Kurogane]: "Do you still not understand?"
[Shizuku Kurogane]: "That overwhelmingly strong person you just mentioned? The one who summoned the giant sword? That was Ayase."
[Nene Saikyo]: "..."
[Nene Saikyo]: "Do you think I am stupid?"
[Stella Vermillion]: "I didn't before, but now I really do."
[Ren]: "Alright, stop teasing her."
[Ren]: "See for yourself. Watch the video."
Ren didn't waste time explaining. He directly clipped the events that had transpired during the Tonrou Academy incident into a high-definition video file and uploaded it to the chat.
[Nene Saikyo]: "..."
Nene fell dead silent. She had likely clicked the video and was currently having her entire worldview shattered.
[Stella Vermillion]: "Ren, where are you right now?"
[Ren]: "I have already returned to my own world."
[Shizuku Kurogane]: "Eh? You left without even saying goodbye?"
[Ren]: "You girls can come see me anytime you want. There is no need for tearful farewells."
[Stella Vermillion]: "Alright, alright. You must be busy comforting your people at home right now anyway."
[Ren]: "Tsk. You guessed that too."
[Stella Vermillion]: "Hmph! I knew it without even having to look."
[Ayase Ayatsuji]: "See what?"
[Ren]: "If you want to see, I will ask them if they are up for a live broadcast."
His consciousness smoothly detached from the Chat Group interface.
The moment his eyes opened, the familiar, luxurious scent of his own villa filled his lungs. He didn't even have a second to adjust before he was completely surrounded.
A sea of stunning beauties swarmed him the absolute second his boots touched the floorboards. From Hinami and Miko to Phantylia, every single woman in the household converged on his position.
Their eyes were wide, eager, and shining with intense emotion. A few of them already had tears spilling over their eyelashes, their shoulders trembling with suppressed excitement.
Logically, a hundred days of separation meant absolutely nothing to beings with practically eternal lifespans. But emotionally? To their hearts, this hundred-day wait had stretched on like an agonizing eternity.
"You jerk! You finally decided to come back!"
Eriri lunged forward, her small fists weakly hitting his chest. She clearly wanted to throw one of her signature tsundere tantrums, but her voice cracked, and she couldn't stop the tears from streaming down her cheeks. "You have no idea how worried we were about you. You didn't even notify us in advance, boo hoo hoo..."
Standing just behind her daughter, Sayuri offered a deeply apologetic, yet equally emotional smile. She gently wiped the corners of her own eyes.
"I am sorry, Ren-kun. I promised Eriri earlier that I wouldn't cry, but..." Her voice wavered. "Everyone was just so worried about you. We missed you terribly."
Ren looked around the room. Every single pair of eyes was locked onto him, filled with an intoxicating mixture of relief, devotion, and raw longing.
He let out a soft breath, his expression softening as he reached out to gently stroke Eriri's blonde hair.
"There is no need to apologize. This isn't your fault," Ren said, his voice a low, soothing rumble. "It was my own lack of consideration. I should have notified all of you in advance before undergoing the promotion."
He pulled Eriri closer, wrapping his other arm around Sayuri's waist, drawing the mother-daughter pair into a warm embrace.
"I am sorry for making you worry."
He looked up, meeting the gazes of Utaha, Hayasaka, Mitsuha, and the rest. A wicked, deeply affectionate smirk slowly curved his lips.
"The time ahead... I will use every second of it to properly make up for these past hundred days."
Snap.
With a casual flick of his fingers, a subtle ripple of energy washed over the villa. The fundamental laws of reality shifted. The flow rate of time within the house completely detached from the outside world, slowing to an absolute crawl.
Seeing this casual display of absolute control, all the women immediately understood exactly what was about to happen.
A heavy, heated tension instantly settled over the room. It was overwhelmingly obvious that every single couch, bed, and surface in this villa was about to be thoroughly marked by them.
One by one, their cheeks flushed a deep, rosy red. They looked shy, yet their eyes betrayed a ravenous, obvious excitement. The sheer volume of desire and longing they had accumulated over the past hundred days had reached a boiling point. It desperately needed to be released.
"But before we get to that," Ren interrupted the rising heat with a casual chuckle, "I believe you all already know about the Chat Group's existence through the interface, right?"
The women blinked, the sudden shift in topic catching them slightly off guard, but they all nodded in unison.
"I didn't expect Ren-kun to have... to have people he likes in so many different worlds," Mitsuha murmured, playfully sticking out her small tongue to hide her embarrassment.
"And so many of them at that," Utaha added, her crimson eyes narrowing slightly, though her tone carried more dry amusement than actual jealousy.
Ai Hayasaka adjusted her collar, her expression remaining perfectly calm and analytical. "According to Rias, Ren-kun managed to communicate with hundreds of thousands of people during the hundred days he was caught in that accident."
She let out a soft, almost imperceptible sigh. "I cannot even begin to imagine such an exaggerated, chaotic scene."
"Wuu..." Alina raised her small hand, her voice soft and slightly timid. "Although we don't have hundreds of thousands of people here, but... but there are still a lot of us."
"That whole situation was originally very unlikely to happen. It was purely an accident," Ren said, spreading his hands in a gesture of innocence.
He certainly wouldn't be so incredibly bored as to deliberately gather all the favored daughters of heaven from across the multiverse just to persecute them all at once. That would be entirely too much work.
But what happened, happened. He wasn't going to complain about the results.
Ren didn't bother hiding anything. He looked at his gathered harem and expressed his thoughts with decisive clarity.
"Many of the people in the Chat Group don't know you girls yet. So, I plan to let you all make an official appearance."
"An appearance?" Eriri blinked, wiping her eyes. "How?"
Ren's grin widened into something utterly shameless and highly suggestive.
"Of course... by doing a live broadcast."
