Chapter 3 - Chapter 3:-

"Vivek Verma" was a well-known and respected person in many nearby villages. The doors of his grand mansion were always open to people.

Villagers often used to say —

"No one has ever returned empty-handed from Vivek Verma's haveli."

Whoever needed any kind of help would always find Vivek Verma standing by their side.

Whether it was arranging medical treatment, helping someone repay a debt, or supporting the wedding of a poor family's daughter — Vivek Verma would step forward without a second thought.

Whenever a poor family in the village had a daughter to marry, Vivek Verma would often take the entire responsibility upon himself.

He had arranged marriages for countless girls, helping them settle into good families.

Many of those girls were now living happy lives abroad with their families.

Just last month, Vivek Verma had arranged the weddings of four girls, and all of them had already settled overseas.

Because of this, his name was spoken with great respect in all the surrounding villages.

However, "MH. Salim" was a man of strong principles.

Among all the nearby villages, he was perhaps the only person who had never stepped inside Vivek Verma's haveli.

It wasn't because he didn't respect Vivek Verma.

In fact, the truth was quite the opposite — Salim bhai held him in very high regard.

Whenever they happened to meet on the road, Salim bhai would always smile and say —

"Namaste, Bhaiya ji."

Vivek Verma would warmly reply —

"Arre Salim… how are you? How's work at the shop going?"

Salim bhai would smile softly and respond,

"Bas Bhaiya ji… by Allah's grace, we manage to get by."

Salim bhai believed —

"As long as a person can stand on their own feet, they should not take help from others."

That is why he never extended his hand in front of anyone.

Apart from Salim bhai's family, there were around 10–12 other Muslim families living in the village.

But the villagers never saw anyone through the lens of religion.

Everyone lived together with love, respect, and trust.

This village was truly a beautiful example of the fact that

"Humanity and love do not belong to any one religion."
