Chapter 27 - He Actually Packed

"Don't stop until I walk out of the restaurant. Then, before the end of the semester, I want to receive a transfer of 500,000 star coins. It shouldn't be hard for you to find my academy account number. Once the money arrives, I will apply to the academy to cancel your punishment." Zachary Chase finished speaking and walked out of the restaurant with Wendy Chase and the others.

Before this, Victor Hargrove knelt obediently on the ground, continuously shouting, "Grandpa Zachary… I was wrong…"

Looking at the messy scene and Victor's appearance, like a dog that had lost its home, Henry Tian said in a deep voice: "This Zachary has some ability, but Victor, you must remember—it's never too late for a gentleman to take revenge. Staying at North Starship Military Academy is the most important thing."

"I will make that Zachary pay a thousandfold price! I, Victor Hargrove, swear!" Victor knelt on the ground, his entire face twisted.

"Actually, I think… you'd better give up. You are not that Zachary's opponent." Another handsome man who had not spoken until now spoke for the first time. He seemed to be an observer of this banquet. But he didn't think he had come for nothing; this was truly a good show.

"Young Master Samuel Sun, where there's a will, there's a way. And I think that Zachary was indeed excessive; he deserves a lesson." A cold glint flashed in Henry's eyes. That Zachary had not given him face, and it was in front of Suzanne Lane.

That Young Master Sun smiled and said nothing more.

"Um… who's paying…" At this moment, a restaurant manager walked over, looking at Victor kneeling on the ground with a surprised expression.

"How much?" Victor stood up, his legs still trembling slightly.

"The total is 53,000 star coins. We can round off the odd amount for you," the restaurant manager said with a professional smile.

Victor stumbled, almost falling to the ground. He looked at the other party in astonishment: "53,000 star coins? How is that possible? How could our table cost 53,000 star coins?"

"This table only costs 25,000 star coins, but the guest who just left packed two identical meals in addition to the wine. So… it's 53,000 star coins…" The restaurant manager explained with a smile.

Packed?

Victor was overcome with rage and directly spat out blood. He roared, "Zachary!"

Seeing Zachary carrying two or three bags in his left hand and two or three bags in his right, it was quite comical.

"Wendy's brother, you were really interesting just now. This meal… hic… was truly worth it. Not only did I eat and drink my fill, but I also watched a good show. And you even packed food… I just glanced at the bill—a full 53,000 star coins. I estimate that Victor's face must have turned green when he paid the bill," the twin-tailed Lily Xue patted her little tummy and said.

"Don't call him 'Wendy's brother'; just call him Zachary." Wendy rolled her eyes, then stared at Zachary: "You're targeting Victor like this, and even disrespecting Henry. Aren't you worried they'll retaliate against you later?"

"You make it sound like if I were kind and amiable when discussing with them, they wouldn't retaliate against me in the future. Since it can't be changed, why shouldn't I beat a dog while it's down?" Zachary said with an indifferent smile.

Suzanne covered her mouth and chuckled: "Wendy, your brother is really special. He's not at all like you said—just a bookworm. If someone like him is considered foolish, then there are probably no smart people in this world."

"How would I know he was hiding so much?" Wendy pouted.

Senior Suzanne looked at Zachary: "Junior Zachary, I still need to remind you. Today, you've thoroughly offended Victor and Henry. I'm not sure about Victor, but Henry is a smiling tiger—a petty person. Since you didn't give him face today, he will definitely trip you up in certain matters in the future."

"Mm, I'll pay attention," Zachary nodded.

"What are your plans for this holiday?" The twin-tailed Lily asked curiously.

"Wendy and I are going back to the territory. After all, I'm nominally a Baron, and there's a whole lot of things waiting for me to deal with," Zachary said helplessly.

"A whole lot of things? Aren't the matters in the territory all arranged for you by elder sister?" Wendy rolled her eyes.

"Speaking of your elder sister, I remember she should be serving in the Star Glory Empire's Imperial Army. I heard she's performing very well, even becoming a starship captain in Her Royal Highness's personal guard," Senior Suzanne said.

Zachary thought of this elder sister. Actually, he had very few impressions of her, because his parents were gone since he could remember, and his elder sister was already studying at the starship academy at that time. After graduation, she went to the Imperial Army. The time she returned to the territory was less than a month in a year, and the number of times they met during that month was also very few.

But Wendy was right—if it weren't for this elder sister arranging the affairs of the territory, Zachary's territory would not know what it would be like now.

"Oh, by the way, you don't need to book tickets this year. Take my starship back," Zachary said to Wendy.

In previous years, Zachary and Wendy would book starship tickets to return to the territory.

"The cost of taking a starship back is dozens of times more expensive than booking tickets," Wendy leaned close to Zachary and whispered.

Zachary said with a smile: "Don't forget, your brother is a rich man now."

Thinking of the 500,000 star coins, Wendy rolled her eyes: "Alright then."

To be honest, returning on one's own starship was indeed at least three times faster than buying starship tickets.

"Then you go back for a bit. We'll depart the day after tomorrow. Let me know if you have anything to move. I'll go back first; with so much food, it won't taste good when it gets cold." Zachary said, then bid farewell to Senior Suzanne and the others, quickly leaving.

"Is your brother a foodie? With so much stuff, how long can he eat it by himself?" The twin-tailed Lily said, unconsciously swallowing her saliva. Because the food really tasted good.

Wendy looked at her elder brother's back; she truly felt he had changed a lot, as if she didn't even recognize him anymore.

"Your brother is very interesting," Senior Suzanne commented.

Wendy and Lily were both very surprised, because a man who could be described as "interesting" by Senior Suzanne was even rarer than a rare animal.

Blizzard Zero

Zachary walked panting into the starship cabin. Charlotte was already waiting there early as per Zachary's instructions.

"Quick, help me… help me… carry these…" Zachary handed several meal boxes in his hand to Charlotte.

He looked at his arms and wrists, which were red from the straps, and some of his fingers had even turned purple due to lack of blood.

"Captain, what's in here?" Charlotte looked at the bags in her hands.

"A secret. Notify all crew members to gather in the Starship Restaurant!" Zachary smiled mysteriously.

Charlotte didn't ask further, relaying Zachary's order, and then the two walked toward the Starship Restaurant.

"Don't I need to help you carry them?" Zachary looked at Charlotte, who was carrying so many things yet remained steady and unperturbed.

"Is it heavy?" Charlotte asked back indifferently.

Zachary was stunned. Well… this was the strength of the half-orc White Tiger Clan.
