The old man thinks to himself as he cleans up the store.
"...Have I failed as a grandfather?"
He sighs as he dusts up the store.
"I can't do anything about it anymore either. He has found his own path, and I shouldn't interfere anymore."
"He's not the little kid that I knew anymore."
Raikun slowly walks out of the store as sirens wail off in the distance, red lights flickering as the sounds of explosions fill the cold, silent night.
"...Another attack, huh?"
He takes out his phone, the light illuminating his face, and calls a number.
"Yo. 5677," he says.
A mysterious voice replies, "Got it."
After ten minutes, a weird black taxi comes honking from the distance as Raikun stares at it.
"Raikun?" the tall, dark hooded man asks.
"YOU know where", he says while pulling his hoodie down.
"Got it," the man says, gesturing for Raikun to get in the car.
Raikun opens the door and sits in the black, mysterious taxi.
Transportation to other places, especially Akibara Ruin from Dead Strip, is not possible.
Akibara Ruin is locked off -- it's a special place where only government officials have access.
Black taxis like these are the only way to bypass the security guards and armed checkpoints.
And not to mention the CONTAGIONS, the monsters created by the GREEN FAULT.
MIRES and other INFECTED MONSTERS fall under the category of CONTAGIONS.
Akibara ruin has been closed off since many years, due to the high risk of contagions.
