In the big room, specially designed for conference meeting, Olivia with her father and four other members gathers. They sit in their fixed chairs after the introduction of Olivia. Neon Amburs advises everyone to commence the conference as soon as possible.
There is a round table at the center of the room. It is covered with round hand-designed mat. Chairs are similar with each other. They are looking golden under the brightness of the flaming lamp.
The man, sitting at the right side of Neon, breaks the silence.
"Two lights ago, something happened beside the river."
A brownish man, wearing a silky hat top, adds him rebuking, "Can't you clarify which river is this, Rwein? You always miss points to mention out."
"My bads."
"Now tell me which river you were mentioning."
Rwein clears his throat and looks into every member's face. He still struggles to put his words to express out. "Beside Momantak river."
Everyone except Olivia gets shocked hearing the name, Momantak. Everyone bursts out of anger, "Have you gone mad?"
"I am sure."
This time Neon speaks out. "Did you confirm it?"
Rwein hesitantly replies in a trembling voice, "Yes, my spies confirmed it. Even the Church of Eternal Thought and the Temple of Divine Planetary confirmed it. But they feared to trade at this moment. Some signals were coming from the Momantak river but in a low range."
Everyone in the room knows Rwein very well as an honest person. They can trust Rwein blindly and know Rwein is trustworthy. He is a machinery architect in the Church of Eternal Thought. He isworking for five years in the church though his financial status is not so much stable like Neon and other members in the conference.
Olivia couldn't understand anything of it. She was puzzled and was not understanding this topic. So she couldn't keep her thoughts inside and expressed out, "What is Momantak River? Why didn't I hear the name of this river among two hundred twenty rivers in my entire life?"
Rwein is going to explain everything but gets stopped by a hand pressed on his shoulder from his left side.
The man spreads his knowledge, "Momantak river is the most mysterious river in this world. It lies on the south side of the Minisio Traders market. But it was sealed from third reckoning. There is a legend preaching among the townsfolk that it is the graveyard of the first Lord of Eternal Fang, the embodiment of this planet and -"
Neon interferes, "Stop, Eghon. Stop telling everything to her what we know even this is just a legend not a reality."
Olivia already knew about the first Lord of Eternal Fang though she didn't know the name of the first Lord. So she asks her father, "What is the name of Him?"
His father, Neon, cut off her words in the middle and rebuked her, "Not necessary to learn about everything. If you don't listen to my words next time, you will not come from next meeting."
Olivia bows down her head to show acceptance.
Neon carries the order to change the topic and not to discuss about this matter in future.
Eghon, this time, speaks loudly, "I went to Eyle last week. There I heard, exams are going to be taken by Temple of Divine Fire and Animal. When was the last time Fire sector and Animal sector worked together? It is very suspicious to me."
"I think this is because of that river," a full black sleeve wearing man expresses his thoughts. "When is the exam going to take place?"
"Tomorrow. But there is a catch."
"What is that?" Rwein hurriedly asks as if he is eager about this matter than everyone.
Brownish man expresses, "Why are officials are recruiting members? Is really something bad going to happen in coming days?"
Neon orders them to calm down not to deviate from the topic. "What is the problem of the exam?"
Eghon gets a chance to talk. "Actually no one applied for the exam. It is heard there will be no exam inside the temple. On which topic will the exam held is still unknown. Even some people noticessome figures flying around the temple."
Olivia keeps hearing everything still she doesn't utter any word from her mouth. She is feeling like she is a burden of this conference.
Brownish man asks but his sound is not calm before. "I think they are the cursed souls."
There is a complete tense among them finding no words to reply this line. Rwein speaks out in this tensed situation, "The officials are now too much active than past." He finds no one having no proper idea about this matter. Rwein pours all his knowledge gathered from his spies, "Some churches and temples are now recruiting strong people to make TRANSCENDER. I think temple of Divine Fire and Animal is also recruiting same kind of people like other churches and temples."
Everyone in this room looks at each other's face. They don't understand what to reply in this matter. Suddenly Olivia speaks out. "Who is TRANSCENDER?"
The brownish man explains, "One who holds the power of any authority among fifteen authorities is called Transcender. Everyone bears special ability. For you, it is enough to know."
Olivia listens every word carefully and realizes she is now among a Transcender. Olivia is thinking in her own mind, "Then I am already a Transcender. But why did Zerjin name fifteen authorities? Maester showed us only ten cards shuffling in the air. Maester didn't tell anything about this matter but these people knew it. But how?"
Though Olivia was in her dream world, she came back to life by her father's word. "Don't know much than your limit."
"Okay, father. I will."
Then the brownish man, Zerjin, speaks, "Are today's topics not irrelevant than past conference. We are talking about something that is kept hidden from Townsfolk. What will happen if they know all about this and get panicked and oppose the emperor?"
Rwein answers as he is concerned about these matters and has knowledge of inside the royal family and even the churches and temples. "This topic is not a matter of concern for us now. These matters will be handled by the churches and temples." He then takes a pause and looks at Neon's face and speaks out, "It is guaranteed some bad is going to happen in future, days are not far."
Everyone understands his words vaguely without having proper direction. Olivia guesses, "Is Rwein mentioning about upcoming war mentioned by Maester previously? Should I ask him about the war? No, I shouldn't otherwise everyone will doubt me. I have to behave like I don't know anything of this matter. Whatever I have become a Transcender. This is my power."
Suddenly there is a knock at the entrance door. Neon shouts out, "Come in."
Two servants come inside the room. Of them, one is holding a piece of tray resting seven cups on it. Every glass, sized almost like a coffee cup, is filled with wine, spreading the scent of wine in every corner of the room. Other servant is carrying a plate having dry food and fruits on the plate. First servant places the tray on the table. Then he passes all the glasses to the members. Then another one places his plate full of food on the table. Then they leave the room. It passed almost thirty minutes since the conference has started.
Every member including Olivia eats some fruits from the placed plate and tray. They drink slowly and steadily which is soaking their tongues and refreshing their minds. After finishing one round of the wine, they again start the conference.
Zerjin starts to speak staring at the black full sleeve man, "So how is your business going, Matrick?
