Chapter 23 Friends' Data
After a brief moment of silence for Harry, Basil walked to the window, admiring his Hogwarts.
He then began to focus his mind on things he'd forgotten the night before—checking his friends' data,
especially Hermione's.
He started with Ron's.
[Name: Ron Weasley]
[Race: Wizard]
[Health Points: 9]
[Magic: 5]
[Luck: 3-6]
[Family Traits: Red Hair and Freckles (Awakened), Prosperous Family - Weak (Awakened), Spell Proficiency]
Basil's urge to make sarcastic remarks surged.
Wizards' magic points were generally between 3 and 7.
Most lower-year wizards hovered between 3 and 5, while upper-year wizards were between 4 and 7.
"This magic power is already higher than some weak high school students!"
"Outrageous, the Weasleys are just good at having kids, right!"
He then pointed to the Weasley twins' portraits. "? How come they also have a talent for alchemy?"
"Are there some hidden talents that just won't show?"
"Their prolific population doesn't seem to indicate a weak talent."
Then it was Harry's turn.
[Name: Harry Potter]
[Race: Wizard]
[Health Points: 7]
[Magic Power: 10]
[Luck: 4-9]
[Family Traits: Short, messy hair (Awakened), Parsley (Awakened), Spell Proficiency, Potions Proficiency - Weak]
"I don't have the [Spellbook] bonus, and I only have 7, but Harry has 10!"
"However, in the second movie, how did Draco Malfoy's spell overcome 10 points of magic resistance to work on Harry?"
"Was it the malice during the casting?"
"Spell Proficiency?"
"In the book, spells are divided into 7 categories: Transfiguration, Charm, Jinx, Hex, Curse, Counter-spell, Healing spell."
"Based on my summarized wizard data, the system divides spells into two categories: Rational spells (Transfiguration) and Emotional spells (Charm, Black Magic, White Magic)."
"Harry's spell mastery, especially the dark magic part, probably comes from Voldemort. James Potter was very skilled with the Transfiguration Charm; spell mastery is a common talent in most wizarding families. His white magic is probably due to the Love Charm Lily planted in Harry after her sacrifice?"
"And then they combined to create spell mastery?"
"No wonder Harry Potter and Ron were always slacking off in the movies, yet Harry's grades didn't suffer."
"However, given that the Potter family's ancestors created many potion recipes, their potion mastery talent is likely only weaker through inheritance?"
"No wonder the younger generation hasn't delved deeply into the potion field."
"What about Neville? He could be considered the second savior of the prophecy." (
Clicking on Neville's avatar.)
[Name: Neville Longbottom]
[Race: Wizard]
[Health Points: 10]
[Magic: 7]
[Luck: 4-7]
[Family Traits: Round Face (Awakened), Swordsmanship Proficiency, Spell Proficiency]
"A round-faced magical boy, huh?"
"Such high magic points, yet such poor performance?"
"Just as the books say, magic power is only the hardware; willpower, eloquence, and accurate wand-waving techniques are all indispensable software."
"As expected of a Gryffindor swordsman. His ancestors were probably knights."
"Look at Hagrid."
[Name: Rubeus Hagrid]
[Race: Half-Giant Wizard]
[Health Points: 20]
[Magic: 7]
[Luck: 3-5]
[Family Traits: Magical Beast Affinity (Awakened), Half-Giant Physique (Awakened), Spell Proficiency - Weak]
[Note: Half-Giant Physique, Magic Resistance = Magic Power x2]
"Wow, he's got a lot of mana, 7 magic power? His magical talent is that good?"
"Hmm, but it's probably because of his age. A wizard's magic power increases with age. The magic power data I got before was 3-7, and the data samples were all from students."
"Look at Hermione's, the 'Pyromancer' is so overpowered."
[Name: Hermione Granger]
[Race: First Wizard]
[Health: 7]
[Magic: 4]
[Luck: 4-7]
[Trait: Proficient in All Magic]
[Note: First wizards are the darlings of magic, learning spells is not limited by magic power, the difficulty of entry depends on their own thinking logic, intelligence, and willpower]
"First wizard? Literally, it means the first generation of wizards."
"Unlike most fan fiction settings, wizards aren't born from the mating of magical beasts?"
"Is it a Hermione-type Primal Stone that's been passed down?"
"Outrageous! I thought the first wizards were amazing!"
"Right, Hermione's strength lies in her 'know-it-all' nature."
"Magic power limitation? Does that mean some spell cards with high magic power requirements can't even be mastered if you have low magic power?"
"Hermione and Neville are complete opposites. One's hardware is lacking, the other's software. However, Hermione's trait from being a first wizard, 'know-it-all,' compensates for the hardware problem. She can learn spells even with insufficient magic power, and she can also cast spells with high magic power requirements. It's just that they're weaker than spells from wizards who meet the requirements."
"However, based on the spells I've learned before, none of them have a magic power requirement exceeding 4 according to the spellbook panel. Hermione's is sufficient."
"These characters who seem so important in the world, their stats are definitely more interesting than the stats of the extras I collect at the train station." "
When can I be friends with Dumbledore? I really want to see his stats,"
Basil sighed inwardly.
But then Ron's voice came from behind.
"Bagil?"
This ended Bagil's workday.
He had planned to spend 5,000 gems to retrieve the echoes of Harry, Ron, Neville, Hagrid, and Draco Malfoy for inspection.
Bagil stretched and turned his head.
Ron rubbed his eyes and got out of bed. "Harry's up too? Or hasn't come back all night?"
At the same time, his other hand familiarly stroked Scabbers' fat belly.
Bagil's eyes lit up.
Scabbers! Peter Pettigrew!
He only had a little over 10,000 gems now.
Making Harry and the others' echoes would cost about half of that.
If Peter Pettigrew's identity was exposed,
Sirius Black would be released early?
At least several thousand!
Tens of thousands wouldn't be impossible!
After all, it was Peter Pettigrew who found Voldemort when he rose to power!
"Don't look at my mouse!" Ron stuffed Scabbers into his pocket. "I fed Fanta for you last night, along with Hedwig!"
"Hey!" Bagil was furious.
Fanta was his brother, family he grew up with.
"Animals that have formed contracts with wizards, aside from not being able to speak, possess a degree of human intelligence. Due to their own magical magnetic fields, they treat other wizard pets more like they treat their own kind."
"The same applies to natural enemies like cats and mice."
Ron still glanced warily at Fanta, who was dozing in the open cage. "But your owl isn't like that."
"I just found out that owls eat mice too. I thought they only ate nuts!"
"Yesterday, after I found the dried mouse you mentioned, Fanta and Hedwig's eyes turned green."
"Scabbers must have been terrified too."
"That's because—" Basil didn't know how to put it.
Could he say that his owl Fanta, with Thunderbird blood, was smarter than wizard pets with magical creature bloodlines and could tell that Scabbers was human? Because Scabbers was human, and he didn't actually have a contract with Ron, Ron would still get fat if he ate too much?
He could only glare at Ron with annoyance and casually said, "Harry and I both have snowy owls. Besides their lifespan advantage—compared to the 3-5 years of smaller owls—they can live for over 20 years, and up to 35 years. They also have another characteristic: their main food is mice, and they only eat furry mice."
