Chapter 2: The First Thread of Love
A Honorable Smile
The night had not left Aloha.
Even after the storm had passed, even after the streets had dried, something remained alive within her.
She burst into the house.
"Holp!" she called, her voice carrying urgency and something softer… something glowing.
Holp turned, raising a brow, a smile already forming.
"What happened to you?"
Aloha dropped her bag, breathing fast.
"I met an angel today."
Holp laughed lightly.
"An angel? In Benin City?"
"At the Saba Café," Aloha continued, ignoring the tease. "He helped me… just like that. No questions."
Holp's smile deepened.
"What's his name?"
Aloha paused.
Silence.
"I… I didn't ask."
Holp stepped closer, eyes sharp now.
"Girl… you're already on the train of love."
Aloha shook her head quickly.
"No. He's just… good. That's all."
Holp folded her arms.
"I'm not arguing. But you she pointed gently, you're still thinking about him."
Aloha said nothing.
And that silence said everything.
Elsewhere The Other Side of the City
Lights flickered across another district wealth, power, precision.
Diamond leaned back, relaxed, confident.
"Tomorrow," he said, "I'm bringing a friend to the house."
Light glanced at him.
"What's his name?"
Diamond smiled.
"Laho… Wisdom."
Light's expression shifted.
"He's in Tech Town?"
Diamond nodded.
"He's not just anyone."
Light smirked faintly.
"Then bring him. Let's see."
Midnight Oba Tower
At exactly 12:00, Aloha stood at the top of Oba Tower.
The city stretched before her alive, breathing, endless.
Her younger brother, Xoft, stood beside her.
"Sis… what are we looking at?"
Aloha smiled softly.
"Come see for yourself."
The city shimmered under distant lights.
"Beautiful…" Xoft whispered.
Then, quieter—almost like a dream:
"One day… I want to go to Gom Man City."
Aloha glanced at him.
"That place? I heard it's the most advanced weapon city in the universe."
Xoft nodded.
"Smart weapons. Real power."
Aloha chuckled.
"Focus on your transformer program first. How is it going?"
"Good," he replied. "Holp has connections everywhere, you know that."
Aloha smirked.
"And what are you planning now, little genius?"
Xoft looked at her carefully.
"She's your friend, right? Holp… your bestie?"
Aloha raised a brow.
"Think about it," he said.
Then silence again.
Far Away… Where Power Is Forged
In the shadows of another land, a different storm was forming.
He stood alone.
Wisdom.
But that was not the only name he carried.
His mother called him Wisdom.
Others… feared another name.
Laho.
In his hand his father's blade.
Forged from fire.
Infused with lightning.
A weapon born from something not meant for this world.
He moved without hesitation.
Destination:
Gom Man City
The capital of power.
Arrival
The aircraft touched down.
Diamond stepped forward, arms wide.
"My blood!" he called. "What's up Laho or should I say, Wise
Wisdom stepped out calmly.
"The trip was smooth," he said.
Diamond laughed.
"How are my cousins?"
Wisdom's eyes scanned the horizon.
"Alive. That's enough."
Diamond grinned.
"My brother Light will be here soon like lightning itself."
And somewhere in the distance
The sky flickered.
