Ensley, Edith, and Vivian approached the Alpha King together, determined to ask for permission to see their mother.
"Dad, you cannot keep us from meeting the Luna Queen. She's our mother," Vivian, the youngest, pleaded. "I heard from one of the maids that Mom didn't even touch her lunch today. She is going to get sick if she keeps skipping her meals like this."
"Dad, whatever happened, I believe Mom is genuinely repenting by now. It is already close to dinner time," Ensley asserted, stepping forward. "Honestly, Gideon isn't entirely innocent in this either. He provokes Mom all the time. I understand you punished her because she targeted Adeline twice, but Adeline is completely safe and sound. For all we know, Mom was simply testing her."
