Noir stood there in a laid back yet shaken manner, sweat forming across his face as his breath grew uneven.
"What's going on...?"
Noir murmured, his voice low and unsteady.
"Hey, sit down first," Adrien said, his face filled with worry, "and calm down."
"It's weird for him to behave like that," Liesel said, her tone carrying concern, "he barely gets startled nowadays."
"I am fine..."
Noir spoke, his voice trembling slightly.
"I think i am imagining things... i didn't get enough sleep last night so..."
"Are you sure?"
Liesel asked softly.
"Okay, we will drop you home on our way today."
"Don't be on your device after you get back home," Adrien said, patting Noir's back, "make sure you rest, idiot."
"Haha..."
Noir let out a faint laugh.
"Thank you guys, i surely will."
A soft smile rested on his face.
They dropped him home shortly after.
"Call us if something feels wrong, mate," Adrien said, looking at him seriously, "we are here for you."
"Yes," Liesel added gently, "we will always be here for you, so just give us a call."
"Bye then, take care Noir!"
She said as she walked away with Adrien.
"Thank you again guys," Noir said, looking at them with a blurry gaze, "i will let you know if something is wrong, bye!"
They smiled at him before turning away, slowly disappearing into the distance.
"Well, at least i've been gifted with good friends..."
Noir whispered to himself as he walked towards his bed.
"My son's back already?"
His mother called out, her voice filled with concern.
"You are looking tired today, did something happened?"
"No mum, i am fine," Noir said, hugging her lightly, "just a tiring day."
"Well then, don't sleep before eating, okay dear?"
"Yes mom, i wont."
He said as he lay flat down, his body completely drained of energy.
"Elara will be here in 3 days..."
He whispered to himself.
"I can't wait to hug her again... it's been so long..."
Two hours passed.
"Mumma, i am gonna go for a stroll," Noir said, getting up, "i will be back soon."
"Okay hun, be sure to be back on time!"
As Noir stepped outside, the air hit him immediately.
"Woah..."
He looked around.
"So chilly and dry..."
"What's wrong with the atmosphere here?"
As he walked through a narrow ditch, something caught his attention.
"People...?"
He slowed down.
"This place isn't a hang out spot, what are they doing here?"
Moving closer, he noticed it clearly, three people standing there, two of them armed, one unarmed.
"They are bullying him...?!"
Noir clenched his fists, his body tensing up.
"They look muscular and armed... i need to help him..."
He stopped.
"Maybe i can't beat them..."
His gaze dropped.
"I will just walk away..."
Guilt crept within him like slithering snake, Shame followed right after, But something struck him, a memory.
Two years ago.
"Look at this desperate guy, good for nothing."
Cyberage mocked him intentionally to make him feel insecure and stupid.
"All he can do is cry and be desperate about everything."
Ridhima added shortly after.
"I am not gonna interfere..."
Kiara thought silently, already deciding otherwise.
"At least i am not desperate and needy like you," Adrien said harshly, "who forced someone into a relationship."
"Isn't it too much now guys? C'mon..."
Noir said, tears running down his face.
"You are good at getting offended too," Adrien replied casually, "chill, we are joking, stop being so sensitive."
The memory faded, a rush of blood flushed down noir's entire body, as if asking him to move towards them and help that kid.
Noir's fists tightened again.
"Yeah..."
He took a step forward.
"I won't let him go through what i did."
His body was still shaking, but his will wasn't and he proceeded to walk towards them, a little scared yet unwavered.
Will Noir be able to put an end to the injustice he was once a victim of, or will he fall again?
Only Noir's will can answer that.
