"So..you..came back.??" Noir murmured while gasping for breath while he was being held by a kid with black eyes, straight hairs and not too tall "but why...do state your name kid. "
"I am Nolan... I came back to help y-you.. Mister.." Nolan said, shaking in fear while holding him "So much blood..."
"Did he kill all 3 of them..?"
Nolan asked himself in pure disbelief, wondering whether he could trust him or not.
"Ca..ll.. my mo..the..r.."
Noir said, barely, as he unlocked his phone with his fingerprint.
"Okay mister... mom... mom... mom..."
Nolan repeated as he scrolled through Noir's contacts.
"Found it!"
He called noir's mom right there and then,
clenching one of his fists, hoping she would pick up fast.
"She picked up!" Nolan tries to tell her everything in a hurry as Noir's vision starts to fade again and he faints "Hello, is this Noir's mother?"
That day Noir's mom and Nolan rushed him to the hospital.
Fast forward to Noir waking up after three days of the incident.
"...?"
He slowly opened his eyelid, trying to get a vision of his surroundings.
He tried to move his hands but he was still strained and out of strength due to the battle which took place back then.
" Where am I?...I can't move..." Noir thought to himself while lying still on his bed "The pain is still lingering on my body."
"What's the date today?..."said noir as he spotted a wall clock hanging to his left. "It has been 3 days already since I passed out then.."
"Elara was supposed to come here in 3 days..."
His thoughts grew restless, worried about Elara .
"I was supposed to pick her up…" Noir said as he tried to move, Barely. His left hand shifted slightly, the one on which he wears Elara's hairband "I need to get up"
"Liesel, Elara, he's moving!"
Adrien, who was standing just by the door, noticed and informed the others.
"Noir?????" Elara rushed closer to noir with a shaking voice and teary eyes , sitting by his legs on his bed "Are you okay now??? Can you speak??? Look at me!!"
"Elara?..." Noir said softly while letting out a slight smile "I guess you are already here...Sorry I couldn't come and pick you up."
"It's fine..."Elara said, with a concerned yet calm voice while hugging him gently with both her arms "I am here now...with you finally..i missed you a lot... smile a little wider at least. "
"I missed you so much more... Elara"
Noir said promptly as he let out a big exhale of relief .
In the meantime, on the other side of the room,
"He's making a faster, better recovery than usual patients," the doctor said, slightly amused, "specially the ones who have been through a near death experience and after so much bleeding.. unbelievable."
"Doctor..." Noir's mother asked, her voice filled with worry "It's not a sign of concern, right? He will be back to normal soon enough, right?"
"He should get discharged by tonight," the doctor replied calmly, "as he's awake already and his body has made a very fast recovery."
"Thank you so much , doctor!!"
She said, taking a breath of relief.
Meanwhile everyone had left the room leaving Noir alone, till discharge.
"What happened to me back then?..." Noir thought to himself as he almost let out a chuckle "I lost my moral compass for a second there..."
Noir got discharged from the hospital while the quiet, heavy night fell upon the city of Eisenberg.
"MOM!"
Noir shouted at the top of his lungs.
"Yes Noir???"
His mother asked gently.
"No questions today" Noir said with a deep voice while walking upstairs "I am gonna sleep.
"Okay dear," she replied to him with a soft yet concerned tone "as you wish...If you need anything, give me a call."

"Finally..." Noir muttered while lying down on his bed relaxing his entire body "I can get some rest."
He closed his eyes, almost half-asleep.
"■■■■■■■■"
Just as he was about to fall asleep— he heard
An inaudible and hollow, unsettling voice ringing throughout his ears.
"....!!!" Noir snapped out of his sleepy state "what in the-?!"
