We all four scrambled to attack Baydí. Running up something was odd. We couldn't see the floor around Baydí from where we hid in the forest, but on the ground curled up lay clothes.
Baydí's body flowed in a spiral of wrinkles and eyes. She stared at the four weak adventurers standing up against her.
"OH! If it isn't the phoenix." Her eyes gleaned red.
"What happened to my cousin? Why would you do that to her?" I know she didn't have a reason.
"To your cousin phoenix? Oh but nothing."
"BAYDÍ! What did you do to her!"
"Nothing." her voice spoke plainly.
Baydí''s legs folded down. Baydí's wrinkled hands ripped up clothes. A dark black mess came from the floor. A strand of Baydí's hair illuminated the hornless, four dull eyed Stella.
"She's perfectly fine."
Her face was untouched, everything about her was perfectly fine besides her missing horns and her hollow eyes. My hands clenched then bled. The ground raced below me while time slowed down. Stella's corpse was brought up to block. I stopped abruptly. Her body… I felt the horror between tangible and magical. Stella showed the same split as Baydí with the world. Stella was a full dragon.
"It's something I thought of while collecting all this magic. What if I filled someone's body with an excess. Turns out…" Her voice popped. "It's the worst pain you can inflict onto someone. Everything about them is ripped apart and their body becomes completely magical like a full dragon." She dodged Herika and Angel. "ITS A MONUMENTAL DISCOVER FOR TORTURE!"
More. Move faster. I had hit the wall of the alleyway, but now I was scaling the buildings after the voice. I rolled around Herika slashing down at Baydí. A few swords fell from the moon, attacking the area around us. I got behind Baydí and shot out as much fire as my body could hold. I felt my head get dizzy and a loud ringing sound filled my ears. The top of the mountain lit up like an image from hell. A giant blast of magical fire centered on Baydí reflected off the sky. The tree line caught on fire and burned a magical flame. Smoke filled the air around us.
A few seconds of silence followed. I sweated, allowing myself to feel the smoke clear. The ash from burning grass and trees pinched my nose. Once the smoke had cleared, Herika and Angel had been thrown back towards Ezree by the forest. They had stayed just as still. Stella was unhurt from the fire. Stella wasn't wearing anything but her pirate jacket which survived the flames.
Baydí wobbled to one knee. Her body flickered, her heroic form being destroyed. I-I just broke a heroic form… That's impossible, right? I grabbed the kidnapper in the alleyway, I had caught up, I wasn't weak. Even if she's in the final stage, I broke her heroic form, but she's not done. Hero syndrome dragons don't stop till they are completely out of everything a person needs to live.
"NO MY BEAUTY!"
The wrinkled clothes around Baydí began to fall off. She desperately scrat- ched the air trying to pull back her magic. Water flowed back into her, but her form didn't return. Leaving her grotesquely wearing wrinkled skin.
In anger she raised a hand and tried to throw a bullet of water at me. It spiraled then became narrower and narrower. The water stretched almost touching my face, then it hardened and fell onto the floor. The mountain shook and a bit of dirt flew up. A sword rested on the ground. It had shaken the mountain a hundred times what my burst of flames did.
"THATS MY BEAUTY!"
"SHIT!" Angel screamed.
"What the hell is she doing!" I yelled and looked at Angel.
The entire cliff shook when the sword hit the ground. Her heroic form was gone, but now she had this sword. What the actual hell is that?
"It doesn't happen for all heroes. I've never heard of a dragon manifesting one though." Angel replied.
Herika bolted out towards her, spun, and formed her axe. She slammed it at Baydí who effortlessly raised the giant sword. It rippled with waves in the steel. The guard was in an infinite shape made from rectangular metal. The helt was almost invisible but was illuminated wherever she held it. A sword fell towards Herika, forcing her to retreat but almost into another sword. Ezree's blood hit it away from Herika. The sword's falling rate sped up.
"I'll take it back!"
She slashed out in a wide circle cutting down part of the tree line. Swords fell all across the line of trees. We all dodged it either by being under or over it.
"Come! SEA!"
The ocean flowed into the blade and the waves in the metal became restless. Swords stabbed into the sword and the blade grew longer. She lifted the sea blade above her head and swung down at me, carving the sky of water on the way down. I dodged the blade but the water came crashing down flying me back off the cliff of the mountain.
The weight wasn't nearly the heaviest. I made myself extremely light, my head bursted with pain, but more swords shot at me. I was helplessly in their way.
"Restless sea. Affirmations carrying ripples of destroyed continents. Rows of severed souls. Coil around a hurricane to drown the moon! Segmented Sea!"
I twisted enough to let a sword nick me. I summoned Paukena's sword, catching it in my hand as I was taken with the currant. The second I was falling off the clif and out of the water, Ezree formed a snaking river of blood below me for a second. I pushed off the hard blood, swinging my sword from all the way behind me forward. I shot out faster because of how light I was. Baydí brought her sword up to block. I clinged off her sword but Angel's scythe was out and slashed her legs.
Herika jumped above Baydí. She grabbed my arm and tossed me down. We both amplified the weight of Paukena's sword. The weight matched a two story house then four more houses. I slashed down, amputating her arm. Herika followed down after me, pointing towards the other arm.
"RAAAAAAAAAAAH!"
Baydí screamed, slammed her sword into the ground and a dome appeared around her. We were all pushed back. Small trails of water made their way to us and softly touched us.
"What-"
I started to choke, and so did everyone else. I hit the goblin slashes stance one more time. Changing my gravity rapidly and shooting out faster than the last. I pierced the bubble but was shot back. Everyone was grabbing their throats.
Baydí laughed more and more. Her body stood up straight holding her sword out with one arm. I felt myself fall farther and farther from her. Swords trickled their way down in a direct path to me. I dodged, my movement becoming slower.
A sword came down onto me. I fell forward dodging it. My legs were shaking and I couldn't focus. Maybe they have to die with me, but I won't let them.
I moved straight. My eyes fell on the line of swords. I followed them. I ran, then I sprinted.
"Ahhhhhhh!" I screamed in response.
A rippling sound came from my mouth. My speed picked up. I threw my sword behind me. A sword fell down in front of me, blocking my path. I pulled my sword forward and reflected off the blade and pulled myself closer.
"STAY AWAY!"
I pushed my sword behind myself once more. I shot through the bubble, my sword shattering the bubble and itself. I pushed my hand forward still, My hand went through her chest and crumbled. Her heart shot out the other side of her body.
I pulled my hand out, a collective of burns, ripped flesh, deformities, scars coated my hand. She fell to the floor. I panted and looked around, everyone else had fallen over. They choked, and coughed up water, but the spell had ended. Baydí on the ground swiped her hand and a small thread of water came down and reattached to everyone. Swords from the moon started to come down. Then the entire sky rippled and slowly turned into swords.
I stomped Baydí's head, the only way I could finish her off now. Her head gruesomely molded around my shoe. The stain was deeper than the material of the shoe. My idol stomped out by one she trained. A thorn as sharp as Āpala's poked my heart and played with something intangible.
I sway from consciousness, barely standing to attach her. Baydí had died and I felt all the magic from her be absorbed into me. I quickly poured it into enhancing myself. I swayed again, falling on the ground.
"I did it." I looked up and everyone was down, but the water was still forming into weapons. "What the-" I tried to stand but the headache killed me. "NO" I reached for the water helplessly.
The entire city will be killed. I had ran down the alley, scaled the buildings, caught the kidnapper, but they shot one last bullet. I tried to force magic out to stop it, but I blacked out.
