"I need clothes," Caleb told the terminal. "And transport to Seventh's medical bay. I gave their desk this address."
The buyer laughed softly. "I spent a fortune getting onto those cameras. You tore the roof door off its frame."
"I reported the damage."
"That lock was built to hold through a hurricane. Your anomaly finally used what you fed it. The density is beautiful."
Caleb looked at his right hand. He knew what it had done to the handle; her account supplied a cause she hadn't shown him.
"Then tell me how I got here."
"Come to the east service exit. I have a duffel and a car."
"Clothes first. The destination is Seventh."
"The driver heard you."
The call ended. Caleb looked toward the lift, then back at the terminal. A recovery request was already on its way through Command. He could wait without clothes or take the offered bag and decide about the car when he saw it.
