Chapter 8 - Chapter 8. Another planet

Ria

" So this is your castle" I stared at the glass walls and glass ceilings. Despite being made out of glass it was surprisingly strong and didn't let me see through it and into the rooms nearby. On the other hand, the glass showed the outside perfectly clear without showing the inside. It was incredible.

Arsheus nodded from my right, proud of himself. I could hear the smugness in his voice when he spoke.

" It is"

" It seems awfully like the main glass castle"

" That thing?" Arsheus gritted his teeth. " It's fake"

I knew that, but I tilted my head, pretending to be curious.

Arsheus sighed and let it go, already looking around his castle. For being his property he was surprisingly curious about what was in it.

" Is it really yours?"

" Of course" Arsheus spoke with certainty. " Do you want to go see my room to make sure?" On the last sentence his voice dropped and darkened.

I could feel the lust in his words and I'd be lying if I said it didn't set my panties on fire.

I chastised myself and clenched my tights. No matter how handsome he was he had kidnapped me. I couldn't fuck him, no matter how beautiful he was and how marvelous those abs were.... Focus!

I snapped out of it and shook my head.

" Pity" Arsheus's voice was still filled with lust when he turned around, eyeing my chest one last time.

What was he looking at? I lowered my head and saw my nipples poking through my chemise. Motherfucker.

I covered my nipples and followed him, my face on fire. I had to get new clothes immediately. I couldn't go on like this.

" Could you give me some clothes?" I swallowed my pride and spoke up, my face red with embarrassment.

" Why? What's wrong with the ones you're wearing?" Arsheus sounded truly curious, but the gleam in his eyes and the half smirk that he was trying to hide told me he already knew perfectly well what the problem was. Motherfucker.

" Just give me new ones"

" I'm sorry to inform you that I do not run a clothing shop. I don't have any"

I stared at Arsheus, who was perfectly composed, the lust on his eyes from a few seconds ago gone completely. Had I imagined it all? What if he really hadn't checked me out and my nipples? Was it all my imagination?

Arsheus looked so serious and unbothered, not even lowering his sight once that I wondered if he really had checked me out and I hadn't imagined it all.

I was thinking like that until his eyes dropped for a second to my chest.

Ugly motherfucker.

" What's wrong with them?" The smirk on his face was now clearly visible as he mocked me. He didn't even try to hide that he knew.

My face flushed red from embarrassment. I would get the clothes some other way. There was no way I was playing his sick games.

" Nothing" I lied and plastered a fake smile on my lips.

" Good"

Arsheus stopped looking at me and continued inspecting his castle. I too, looked everywhere with my mouth hanging open.

Every single door was a masterpiece of art. The doors had emblems and different scenes sculpted into them. What made it all even more impressive was that it was all glass, real glass.

If I touched it I could feel the soft texture of glass.

Arsheus leaded me down some hallway and then another. I had no idea where we were going, but I honestly didn't care. As long as there was a bed I was fine with anything.

My eyelids fought to close every single second. I was in a constant fight with myself and it seemed my sleepy self was winning by a landslide.

I yawned as Arsheus took me down yet another flight of stairs with no bed in sight.

" Are you showing me to my room?"

" Why would you think you have a room?"

I paled when I heard him speak. I had to have a room. If he had kidnapped me it was the least he could do, give me a place to sleep.

" Then where am I going to sleep?"

" What makes you think you're sleeping?" Arsheus threw a sultry gaze my way paired with him nipping his lower lip.

My panties lit on fire and my pussy started throbbing.

Arsheus licked his lower lip and I begun to want to know how it tasted. Would he taste divine or like sin as they taught us in school?

I didn't know and I wasn't sure I wanted to know either.

" Just give me a room and a bed" My heart was racing when I turned around to give him my back. My heart was thumping so loudly in my chest that it was a wonder how he hadn't heard it beating so fast.

" I just need to check something first"

All the lust and mocking left Arsheus's tone as he spun around, leading me down another flight of stairs.

" Where are we going?"

Arsheus didn't answer me.

Motherfucker.

I took the stairs one step at a time, noticing for the first time how big this castle really was.

From outside it seemed slightly bigger than the orphanage, just more classy, but from within I could tell it was way bigger. There had to be some kind of magic involved in making it so spacious inside while not taking up much space. If the castle had really being this big it would've occupied the whole peak, but it didn't. It was some kind of magic for sure.

" We're here"

Arsheus stopped at some random step and pushed the glass wall, which turned red with his blood. When had he cut himself? I hadn't noticed him taking out his dagger. Well, whatever. I had bigger problems, like Arsheus's obsession with blood. At least he hadn't moved onto mine yet, but it was a constant fear in the back of my mind.

As soon as the blood came into contact with the wall the whole castle started rumbling underneath me.

What the fuck was going on?

With nowhere else to hold onto I grabbed onto Arsheus's arm with all I had.

I tried to keep my balance as well as I could, refusing to look down to see the flight of stairs that led downwards and that I would fall into if I let go of Arsheus's arm.

The demon himself didn't seem to notice or care. He just stood there, perfectly still as he waited for the castle to stop rumbling.

When it finally did and everything went back to normal the wall caved in and a passage appeared right before my eyes.

" Do we have to go down there?" I looked down at the passage and it was as dark as if it was night, which was weird. The whole castle was made out of glass and let the sunlight enter and light up everything, so why was that passage so dark?

A bad gut feeling started brewing inside me. I wasn't going inside. It was final.

I let go of Arsheus's arm and slowly backed away.

" How about I sleep first and we do the creepy passage thing tomorrow morning?"

Arsheus looked at me with amusement in his eyes.

" As I said before, what makes you think you'll sleep or have a bed?"

I clenched my teeth and backed away even more, careful as to not to fall down the stairs.

Arsheus looked at the passage and then at my retreating front.

" Well..... If you want to stay here, be my guest"

Arsheus pointed to the castle in general and then spun to go down the passage. That was it? Was he letting me go so easily? I thought he needed me for something.

Well, whatever. At least now I wouldn't have to stall for time and try to sneak out during the night. It was a win-win situation for me. This was great.

" Goodbye"

I waved him goodbye cheerfully.

This was a great, I was finally getting rid of the demon. He could do whatever he wanted and I'd do the same. Life was smiling upon me for once in my life.

" Are you sure about that?"

I nodded. Why on earth would I ever want to go back with him? I wasn't a moron.

" Suit yourself" Arsheus stopped at the entrance and twisted his head to look at me one last time with his unnerving red eyes. " I would run if I were you"

With those last words he begun walking away as the darkness ate him up.

Okay, one weirdo less to take care of.

I spun to take the stairs up and somehow figure out a way to get out, it would take some time but I was getting out of here, when I saw some guards flying above the castle, fully armed and looking for a way in.

My heart begun racing faster and fear rippled through my body.

Fuck!

What were the officials doing here?

I looked at the men flying above me, clutching their swords and looking ready to kill and then at the dark passage a few feet away from me.

What should I choose? What was the right choice ? Facing the officers that wanted me dead for sure and that would make sure I died the most horrifying way possible as revenge for killing their comrades and siding with a demon or go with said demon to god knew where to be his little toy?

I looked at the shiny weapons one last time and then at the dark passage.

Fuck it all.

I ran to the passage as fast as I could without tripping over my own feet and falling down the stairs.

Inside everything was so dark that I couldn't see my own hand. I quivered in fear and walked slowly, trying to feel up the walls to use them as support, but I couldn't find them anywhere.

I begun to panic. Maybe I should've gone with the guards.

As I was doubting all my life decisions a hand landed on my shoulder and I jumped up and screamed, punching where the face should've been. I really hoped I hadn't just hit a spirit. That would go dark really fast.

" I knew you'd come"

When I heard that familiar voice my heart calmed down a little and some fear went away.

" Do you know there are guards looking for you outside?"

I couldn't see Arsheus's expression in the darkness, but I could guess he was wearing a smile.

" They'll never find me"

Arsheus snapped his fingers and the little light coming from the entrance disappeared. He had trapped us inside, with no way out.

I shivered and stepped closer to him. He was the devil, that was right, but as the saying went: better the evil you know that an unknown evil.

I stuck to Arsheus. I wasn't going to let him go.

" Ready?"

" Not even a little bit"

Arsheus chuckled and begun walking. Motherfucker. Not that I expect anything from him. To him I was just a slave, a toy to have fun with and then discard.

I would make sure he regreated his mistake. As soon as I got the chance I was running away with everything of value he had.

It seemed like a plan.

" Are you afraid?" Arsheus chuckled as he spoke.

" No" Despite my words I clung closer to him. I really was afraid. The more we walked the darker it got and the more unnerved I felt.

I felt as if someone was watching me, which wasn't new for me. I was used to being stared at by invisible spirits. Then why was I feeling like this?

I didn't have an answer as we kept on walking, but what I did know was that I wasn't going to let go of Arsheus.

My whole body was shaking in fear, pressed tightly against Arsheus's own body. I could feel all his muscles as he took step after step, but I wasn't after that. At least not now. I was more focused on the noises that could be heard from all sides. Not knowing where the wall was or what was in between it and myself was driving me crazy.

" Do you hear that?" I snapped my head towards the closest sound. It sounded exactly like some beast sharpening it's claws on the wall.

" No" Arsheus's answer was definite, but I didn't believe him.

I felt his eyes darting time and time again to the area where the sound had come from. That was definitely not nothing. It was something and Arsheus knew what it was.

" What is it?"

As usual Arsheus didn't answer my question and instead redirected it.

" We're close to the exit"

Most of my worries went away when I heard his words. Thank god. Even though we hadn't been walking for very long every single second inside this god's forsaken tunnel felt like an eternity. I doubted my muscles could be more tense that they were right now.

Turns out close to Arsheus ment walking for another ten minutes until we finally reached the end, where light was finally visible.

I ran to the light, abandoning Arsheus behind me.

I was blinded as soon as I took a step outside the tunnel, but I didn't care. I was getting out of that dark and oppressing passage!

Once the light stopped blinding me I finally saw where we were.

We were still at the peak of the mountain. Everything was covered in snow, not a single animal or plant to be seen.

" Why did we go back?"

Arsheus chuckled as he caught up to me.

" Go back where?"

I stared at him. Was he serious? Were we really back to where the officers were waiting for us to walk in and get our heads?

" To the castle!"

Arsheus smiled and pointed to the sky.

" This is not your planet"

I paled when I looked up at the sky. High up, where there should've been a shiny sun there was just a moon. Not that much time had passed since we had entered the tunnel. How was this possible?

" That's the moon. We don't have a sun here, not anymore"

I stared at Arsheus. It couldn't be true. That motherfucker couldn't have kidnapped me and now brought me to the demon world.

" Let's go back"

I turned around, willing to even go back into that creepy passage as long as I could get out of there, but the tunnel was gone. Only the rocky mountain remained.

" What did you do!!!!?" I turned to face Arsheus, panicking. Did this mean I was trapped forever in this realm? Did this mean I had to stay here? When would I be able to go back?

" You'll be fine"

As usual Arsheus didn't answer my question. He just said whatever he felt like saying while he walked away. Where was he going now?

I knew no one and nothing in this place, so I had no other option than to stick to Arsheus. That was probably what he wanted.

I followed him to a ridge where we could see everything below us. It was all covered in snow. As far as my sight allowed me to see there wasn't a single speck of any color other than white.

' What is this?' I wondered where I was as I looked at the desolate landscape.

" My home" I didn't realize I had asked out loud until, for once, Arsheus answered my question.

" Was it always like this?" In the tales I had been told hell was always warm and hot. They said hell's flames never went out and that even breathing could set your lungs on fire.

" No" Arsheus's eyes were filled with nostalgia as he looked at the desolate landscape. " Not at all"

I didn't know what to do so I just stayed there, looking at him. I wanted to comfort him, but he was the enemy. He had kidnapped me. He deserved to suffer. Still, it didn't seat right with me.

I moved my hand to place it on his shoulder and say some comforting words when he smiled as if we hadn't just had that conversation and turned around.

" I'll show you to your room"

Arsheus seemed to want to forget what he had said. I could be a bastard and hurt him where it hurt the most or I could keep my mouth shut and play this game. He had kidnapped me, but he didn't deserve to be hurt even more. I knew how that felt like better than anyone else.

" Room? I thought I wouldn't have one"

Arsheus's eyes became soft for a second while he looked at me before they went back to being normal.

" You can always sleep with me"

I snorted and he chuckled.

This wasn't so bad. It seemed like we were friends even.

Arsheus walked back to the rocky side of the mountain and bit his hand. So that was how he got the blood.

The blood flowing out touched the rock and it shifted, revealing a new passage. This wasn't as dark as the last one. I could see light coming from within.

I walked up to it without hesitation and entered.

Once inside I kept looking at Arsheus through the corner of my eyes. So blood was the main ingredient to open back the passage home? Good to know.

I couldn't stop the smile that spread across my face. I quickly hid it and kept walking, not looking at Arsheus anymore, though internally I was dying to get his blood and go back home. I'd do it, it was a promise.

At the end of the passage there was a room as big as half the orphanage. I stared at the bed, big enough to fit six people easily, and at the wardrobe, filled with different attires.

" Is this for me?"

I stared at Arsheus, dumbfounded. Was this room really for me alone? I had never had a room only for myself.

" Of course"

Arsheus spun and disappeared right through the passage, that closed as soon as he was gone.

Great, I was trapped now.

I looked around at the red room. Everything was red: the walls, the mattress, even most of the attires were red.

How did he know it was my favorite color?

I didn't have an answer for that as I didn't have one as to why all the clothes in the wardrobe seemed to be my exact size.

I yawned looking at the room. I was too tired to think straight.

" I'll worry about that tomorrow"

I yawned again and changed into the most comfortable pijama ever. It was so soft I wanted to scream.

This wasn't so bad and as a bonus there were no spirits here. I hadn't seen one since we had crossed the tunnel, which was weird. There were always spirits around.

Whatever. That was a problem for future me.

I jumped into the bed and as soon as my body hit the mattress I was out.
