Ria
I waited patiently on the floor for my food, not daring to go out of the bathroom.
I didn't want to see Arsheus ever again, much less now that he had said that.
I blushed again remembering his voice and how smug he had looked when I had made that mistake, as if he was sure I would want to sleep with him. Preposterous. I rather do anything else than sleep with that sly bastard.
I had nothing better to do than to stay there, on the floor with my face in between my hands.
While I was rethinking all my life choices I heard the sound of a door opening.
Had they come to bring me my food or was Arsheus coming back to mess with me?
Curiousty won me over and I leaned in outside the bathroom.
Entering my room was a man I had never seen before.
His eyes trailed all over the room, examining it as he left a tray with food on the floor.
The man was so breathtakingly handsome that my heart stopped for a second.
He had the same traits all demons had, black hair and red eyes, but what made him the most beautiful of all the demons I had seen yet was the gleam on his eyes and the way his long, lucious hair touched his scalp whenever he moved. That along with his chiseled jawline made him even more handsome than Arsheus.
Unlike with the latter my heart didn't swell and my pussy didn't throb even when I thought about him naked. It was as if I had something special with Arsheus, which wasn't true at all. I had nothing to do with him, we were strangers. And yet the only person my heart beated for was him.
I blamed it all on the fact that they were both demons, capable of the worst atrocities. The only reason why I found Arsheus more desirable when he was uglier was because I knew him and didn't fear him as much.
I gnawked at the demon from the bathroom door, ready to hide whenever his head twisted my way.
I was still eyeing him when his head snapped my way and our eyes met.
His smile was derranged as he looked at me, his eyes never leaving mine.
Fuck!
I ran back into the bathroom, unsure of how to treat him. If Arsheus had kept his mouth shut there wouldn't be this problem, but I didn't know if he had told him or not so just in case I wasn't going to ask. It was so embarrassing.
" I'll leave your food here. Call me whenever you want anything Rianna"
Rianna? Was there another woman here I didn't know about?
As soon as the demon left I went out and looked around, searching for that woman, but there was no one in sight.
Did he think I was named Rianna?
Why would he think that?
As usual I didn't have an answer to that question. I would have to make a list of all the things I didn't know. I was sure they would greatly surpass the things I did know.
I shook my head and went over to check out the food.
It wasn't as big as when Arsheus had made it appear out of thin air, but it was good enough, and to top it all off it even had meat, which was enough for me.
I ate it all in a second and changed clothes into the comfy pijamas.
They were just as soft as I remembered.
Looking down at my feet I could see blood and wounds all over them from having to walk so long on the snow without proper shoes.
I touched the wound and flinched.
Fuuuuck!
That hurt like a bitch.
I looked around for something to dull the pain and cure this wound, but there was nothing.
I could ask Arsheus for some bandages and medicine, but that would imply speaking to him and I wasn't doing that.
Bare feet it was.
Maybe I could ask him at a later date, when I was sure he wouldn't mock me again by bringing this up.
I jumped into bed and prepared to sleep. The lack of sunlight was messing with my head and I didn't even know if it was day or night. What I did know was that I was tired.
As soon as I laid in bed, ready to sleep until someone screamed at me or the world went down, I noticed a feeling that had been tugging at the corners of my heart for some time now.
I was lonely, so lonely.
I wasn't used to sleeping alone. I closed the eyes and tried to sleep but the lack of noise kept me awake. The room shouldn't be so quiet. It should be bustling with life, not ..... dead.
I twisted and twisted on the bed, unable to sleep until at one point I gave up on my dreams.
I'd have to tire myself so much that my body would have no other option but to go to sleep. It was decided.
Now, what to do in the meantime?
There was nothing in the room I could entertain myself with, not even a flimsy book.
So, trying to escape it was.
I looked around, but even the door was gone. Just great.
I sat back on the bed and started imagining how different everything would have been if I hadn't revived the demon. Right now I would be on a new town with Lilu, and maybe I would've even seen the children again. I could've told them where I lived in secret and they could've visited me. We would've been a happy family.
Tears started slowly streaming down my face. It was all gone now. I would never see them again.
I hugged myself and sobbed, making sure nobody heard.
A day later
When I finally managed to sleep I had nightmares all the time. I imagined I died and the demons took over, killing everyone I cared about. The nightmare went on until the only ones left were the demons, ruling over a world of death and spirits while I watched it all unfold as their prisoner.
I woke up feeling worse than how I was before. I felt like shit, like I hadn't slept even a wink. I hoped not every night would go like this or I would lose all my strength from sleep deprivation before long.
The door creaked soon after I woke up. I got up quickly, jumping up.
I was ready for whatever was coming.
I stared at the door as Arsheus entered, looking as smug as always.
" Hello there"
I scoffed and turned around, my face turning red. I really hoped he wouldn't bring back up our dark past. I didn't want to talk about it or even remember it and yet every time I saw him I remembered his low and husky voice as his eyes filled with lust looking at me as if I was a snack ready to be devoured and for whatever reason my body reacted the same way every time, heating up and making me think how great it would be to touch his soft skin.
" Come on, we need you"
Arsheus motioned for me to get up.
I did so reluctantly, flinching when my hurt feet touched the floor.
Arsheus immediately noticed and run over to me.
My heart raced and my adrenaline spiked. I found myself looking at his eyes, searching for his intentions, but I saw nothing. His own eyes were focused on my feet.
" How did you get hurt?"
Arsheus's voice was dark and carried a hint of danger as he spoke, as if my answer would shape what would happen to someone.
" The shoes"
I answered honestly. Arsheus didn't seem interested in messing with me and reminding me of what happened yesterday, so I wasn't going to be the one to bring it up. I could act normal if that was what it took to keep off the topic.
" Give me your feet"
" How should I do ....Ahhhh!" Arsheus grabbed me by the feet, pulling. I lost my balance and fell to the floor. I would've hit my head on the tiles if it weren't for Arsheus's quick reflexes. He grabbed my head and slowly put me on the floor, still holding my feet.
I stared at him, who was looking at my feet up and down. So he had that kind of fetish? Good to know. I would have to keep my feet to myself in the future.
" Could you do this with another one?"
I spoke up. I didn't want to be his outlet for his weird fetishes.
Arsheus looked at me weird and proceeded to ignore me.
It didn't even face me now. I was sure he wouldn't answer me at all, that was just how he was made.
" Here you go"
His hands were cold as they touched my feet. I shivered and my skin lit on fire, relishing the feeling of his skin touching mine. It was just like how I had imagined. It was soft and smooth. I couldn't stop my mind from imagining how he'd look like without his shirt on and with his hands and skin touching me all over my body.
I was so focused on my fantasies that I didn't even notice when my feet stopped hurting and got fixed under Arsheus's hands.
I stared at them in awe when I finally realized it. He had healed me with just his touch.
Wow. That was some powerful ability. Not for the first time I noticed Arsheus was overpowered.
" Come on" Arsheus let go of my feet and offered me his hand.
I looked at it and then at his face, which was barely hiding a smirk. I wasn't doing that.
I got up on my own, glaring at him and crossing my arms over my chest.
I knew I was useless, but it wasn't my fault.
I was about to speak up when I heard a voice and got so startled I almost fell to the floor again. Since when was my room public property?
" We need your help" The man that spoke from the door, where I hadn't seen him coming, was the same one that had called me Rianna and had brought my food not that long ago. The handsome demon.
My mouth watered looking at him. I didn't want to do it with him but that didn't mean I couldn't admire his beauty from afar.
" Will you help us?" The man's voice was light and armonic. It was as if a fairy was speaking to me.
Not only did he have the face but he also had an angelic voice. Girls would swoon over him if they heard his voice. It was the most melodic sound I had ever heard.
My eyes stayed focused on his as I took him in.
" Yes, we need your help" Arsheus got in the middle of my line of view and the handsome man disappeared.
It was probably for the better. He was a demon, I couldn't like him. For some reason I was still annoyed when he did that.
Who did he think he was? I had the right to look at whatever I wanted as long as the object itself was fine with it.
I opened my mouth, ready to scream until my throat got sore, when the man chuckled, throwing his hands in the air.
" Friends, sure" His voice was dripping with sarcasm as he looked at Arsheus, a smirk on his lips.
Arsheus didn't even take a second to spin and glare at him, throwing daggers with his eyes.
" I'll get going"
The man chuckled one last time and went away, smiling as he did.
" Who was that?"
" Just a friend"
We were back to the same old dance. I asked and he diverted. I was honestly getting tired of it by now.
" Okay" I didn't specially care what their relationship was. " What do you need me for?"
By now even I knew it was better to do what he wanted out of my own volition before he forced me into doing it either way.
" I need you to tell me how everything's now"
Why would be need me for that?
Ah.
He didn't know. He was dead when it all happened. That was what he needed me for. There was always something with him. He always wanted something and he didn't even try to hide it. Fine, I was using him too. I would get his blood and get out of here. Two could play that game.
" What would you like to know?"
The smile Arsheus gave me couldn't be described as nothing more than nefarious. It looked like he was going to light the whole world on fire.
On second thought maybe I shouldn't help the demons. They were up to no good.
Oh, well it wasn't as if I could do anything else. The angels hated me and would kill me on sight and the only place I had ever thought of as home was now gone. All I could do was follow him and do what he wanted, for now at least.
" Let's go to the council. I don't like repeating myself"
I didn't understand what he meant by that, but nodded as if it made all the sense in the world.
Arsheus turned to leave and I followed him.
" And by the way?"
I looked at his back.
" I would change if I were you"
I stared at down my body.
What was wrong with what I was wearing?
That was when I saw I wasn't wearing any pants and had been in my panties all the time.
Now I remember how I had gotten like this. The pants felt too stuffy and I had taken them off during the night. That meant.... That meant that motherfucker had seen me in my panties.
I flushed red and ran to change as Arsheus waited on the door with his eyes focused outside, not looking at me. If he had looked I could've murdered him.
Once I changed as fast as I could, feeling my face on fire I went over to the door.
Fortunately for him Arsheus didn't open his mouth as he walked. I would've murdered him if he did. That didn't mean he was still. That just meant he kept his amusement to himself, only visible through the smirk on his lips.
I hated him.
I wanted to hit him, but even I knew that wasn't wise. Instead I sighed and followed Arsheus as he guided me down a dark passage. I had no idea where we were, but it wasn't as if that was anything new at all.
When we finally reached the end of the dark tunnel I wanted to go back with all my strength.
On the other side was a room big enough to host an army. I knew that because the whole army was there, hundreds of men looking at me as if I was prey.
This was great.
Fear washed over me and paralyzed my muscles.
All the men stared at me, looking for an opening to pounce. I couldn't seem weak.
I gathered all my courage and took a step forward, my whole body shaking.
From my left I could see Arsheus barely hiding his smirk. Motherfucker.
I walked straight to the center of the room, where a map of my home world was spread all over a table.
I steadied myself, looking only at Arsheus and spoke.
" What do you want to know?"
I could've sworn Arsheus's smile became even more predatory as he looked at me.
Fuck!
Had I chosen the right path or had I messed up again?
