Azaria stood from her desk in a bit of a hurry and her chair rolled a few inches away from the force of her movements. The absolute sight of Celeste Aldrith standing at her door had been very unexpected. She crossed the room quickly, her heels clicking on the floor, and opened the door herself. She wasn't sure what to do because she never liked the woman from the start and she didn't know if she should feel bad or not, but she would have to wait and see.
Celeste stood in the hallway. It had been months since Celeste had taken her place as Director, and months since Theon had fired Celeste and brought Azaria back. The sight of her here, now, in this building she had left long ago, sent a ripple of confusion through Azaria. Why was she back?
"Miss Aldrith," Azaria said, her voice carefully neutral. "Hello."
