Irene stared wide eyed at Aziel. She didn't think she had been in his home for that long. His runs usually went for a while, so why was he suddenly back?
"Az–"
"Do not make me repeat myself, Irene. Answer me."
She huffed and crossed her arms defiantly. "Why do you have an Aldrith family tree in your folders and all the women highlighted? Theon's mate isn't even an Aldrith yet. What's going on with you? You've completely abandoned–"
"Irene. You've overstepped by coming into my home without my permission. We may be friends, but I am still your alpha. You will respect me and you will respect my boundaries. If I say I am done, then I am done. Stop holding it over your head." He gritted his teeth in irritation, eyes cold as ice and boring a hole into hers. "Leave."
"But–"
"Leave."
Irene flinched and began towards the door, stomping her feet like a child as she went.
"Oh, and Irene?"
