Chapter 19 - Chapter 19- New Ship, Name and Flag

After another hour, Frank finally arrived, holding large bags all over his body.

"Huh? Why are you waiting here?"

"Duh! We were waiting for you. What took you so long?" Miya screamed.

"Can't you see things I had to buy?" Frank rolled his eyes and started putting them down.

"Since you are here, help me hold these on the ship! Ahh, my hands fell asleep!"

Frank started stretching his body after unloading those bags. Tyler and Miya picked them up, and soon, four of them walked towards the shore.

"By the way, what is Adam doing? Why didn't he come to meet us?" Tyler curiously asked.

"Oh! That brat is doing some reworks in your ship. He said he wanted to make it as strong as he could."

The manager's face couldn't hide pride and joy when he started talking about his student.

"I've taught him everything he needs to know about shipbuilding. He has even surpassed me in terms of skills."

"More importantly, he is genuinely interested in shipbuilding and ship technology."

"If you visit Water Seven in the future, I hope you can stay there to help him learn more technologies from that place."

Hearing that, Tyler nodded.

"Don't worry, we will find many new things for Adam. After all, Grandline holds a lot of these things."

"Yeah! Unfortunately, I never had the strength or courage to leave the West Blue."

The manager sighed.

Just then, they reached the shore where their ship had been loaded onto the sea.

It was an enormous ship, at least four times bigger than Going Merry, but still a bit smaller than Thousand Sunny.

Its red color was quite striking, with yellow planks.

"Hey, Captain!"

Adam ran to the deck and waved from the top. He threw the ladder.

Soon, Tyler, Frank, and Miya climbed the ship holding those bags. After they had settled the bags inside the kitchen, Tyler couldn't wait.

He started running around the ship, checking every single room.

The men's quarters, the women's quarters, the bathroom, the lobby, the armory room, the kitchen, and the Nest.

The men's quarter had five different beds, and the women's quarter also had five beds, but these beds were foldable.

Adam had specifically folded them below the ground, making more space for other things.

There are at least three bathrooms on the ship with their own drainage system and a large safety tank.

The Lobby was a meeting room for them. It had a large table and chairs surroundings. There was also space for standing and even a small bar.

The Armory Room was quite big, even bigger than their quarters, but it also had some big things.

It included the equipment that Adam had brought from the shipyard. Many of them were necessary for the ship, while others were basically things he couldn't recognize.

The kitchen had two tables, one large and one small. There were also chairs around these tables, with all of them locked to the ground.

The kitchen was fully packed with all the necessary equipment, like a freezer, a gas stove, an electric stove, an oven, and a pantry.

Finally, the nest was placed on top of the main mast, similar to a thousand sunny days.

It was an observation room with several training tools that they had bought. Adam had turned it into a proper training gym within just an hour.

The deck had three sections. The front deck was a space with a large figurehead of a tiger on the front, with the anchor attached to it.

The middle deck, which had a wheel for control and a direct connection to the main mast, which also had a speaker attached to it.

The back deck had very little space, only a small gap behind the rooms where there was a control mast.

This was a secondary mast, necessary for controlling the ship during a heavy storm.

"So, Captain, did you love it?"

Adam asked when he saw Tyler stop on the deck.

"Heck yeah!"

Tyler shouted.

"This is the perfect ship for our crew. Just wait, we will conquer the West Blue in this ship."

"Captain, can't you say Grandline?" Adam couldn't help but lower his voice.

Tyler shook his head.

"Lying is a bad habit, Adam. This is a very good ship, especially for our journey, but I know it can't hold much in the waters of Grandline."

He walked up to Adam and patted him on the shoulder.

"I will be relying on your skills to keep it intact until we reach Water Seven."

"Yes, Captain!"

Adam gave him a standard salute, but Tyler slapped it away.

"This is a pirate crew, not a military. You don't need to do these things."

Clack!

Frank also walked out of the kitchen.

"Captain, are we going to leave now?"

"What? Do you have any business?"

"No!"

Hearing that, Tyler nodded.

"Adam, you should go and say goodbye to your teacher. As I said before, we don't know when we will return."

Adam nodded and went down to the shore. At this moment, his teacher was standing there.

"Brat, are you finally going to leave?"

Adam felt his eyes twitch, but he held back his tears and said.

"Teacher, I am here to say goodbye."

The manager laughed and hugged him tightly.

"Didn't we already do that before? Don't miss me when you are in the Grandline. It is a sea full of danger."

Adam couldn't help but let out some tears as he said.

"Teacher, I've always hidden my true identity from you. I'm really sorry."

"Hahaha! I am your teacher. Do you think I can't see that? When you were lying on the shore, I knew you hadn't lost consciousness."

Adam grumbled.

"So, you always knew that."

"Of course! But from now on, you are a pirate. Adam, you don't need to hide anything from anyone. Being a pirate is being free."

The manager laughed.

Hearing his words, Adam finally let go of his fear and reverted to his original size, still hugging his teacher.

"You brat, are you trying to suffocate me?"

The manager's hoarse voice came from his chest, but it was full of joy.

"Teacher, Goodbye!"

Adam hoarsely said that before returning to human size as he left his embrace and turned around.

"The sea is full of danger, brat. Don't get ill!"

The manager softly spoke.

"Thanks, Teacher Ren!"

Adam roared before running towards the ship. He was afraid, truly afraid that he wouldn't be able to become a pirate if he turned around.

"That brat!"

Ren shook his head and turned around.

"Adam, you were always a man of the sea. It will not be an easy journey, but you must persevere and witness the true wonders of that sea."

"Hahahahaha!"

His laughter was quite loud.

Adam also heard him. He didn't know why his teacher was laughing, but he repeated after his teacher.

"Hahahahaha!"

Hearing his laughter, Tyler didn't know why he wanted to laugh as well.

"Hahahaha!"

Miya didn't care why she wanted to laugh. She just laughed.

"Hahahahaha!"

Frank didn't want to laugh. He wanted to keep his calm expression, but he was quickly infected by their laughter.

"Hahahahaha!"

As four of them stood on the deck of their new ship, 'Red Tiger', Tyler spoke.

"Now that we have four people, we are finally a proper crew. Let's make our flag and give our crew a name."

"Do you have any suggestions?"

Hearing that, Frank spoke.

"How about Dragon King Crew? That's the name of your Devil Fruit, right?"

Miya nodded.

"This also sounds quite domineering. Dragon King! Captain, since you are going to be the Pirate King. This title will suit you quite well."

Hearing Miya's praise, Tyler couldn't help but blush.

But his confidence also roared.

"Then, our pirate crew will be called Dragon King Pirates."

"Captain, I can draw the Jolly Roger, but what should I draw?"

Adam raised his hand and asked.

Tyler thought for a moment and said.

"Make two red wings on the back and give the skull a bit of dragon-like features."

Adam nodded and immediately took out a large black cloth, where he started drawing the skull.

The Skull had two horns and two large red wings above four bone sticks coming out from the middle.

Its eyes were quite hollow and dark with grinning teeth.

"It looks quite horrifying."

Miya whispered.

"But Jolly Roger is supposed to strike fear into our enemy's hearts. This is perfect."

Frank replied.

"Good! This will be our Jolly Roger. Adam, paint this on our main mast and make another one." Tyler nodded his head with satisfaction.

He quickly took the Jolly Roger and climbed the main mast. Upon reaching the top, he tied it to the main mast.

Then, he took another one that Adam finished making and tied it to the secondary sail.

After that, Adam used his Giant Form to paint the Main Mast. After they finished painting, Frank took out several jugs of beer.

"Cheers to our new ship and new partner!"
