We stood back in the Nexus, the colorful pixel door fading away behind us. I could still feel the bouncy, energetic vibe of the Game World lingering in my steps. The Gem of Play felt light and exciting in my hand, and I carefully placed it into my bag.
"That was... literally the most fun ever," Aiko said, laughing and shaking her head. "I can't believe you turned the ultimate boss into a friendly guy just by being positive."
"Right?" I grinned, adjusting my camera. "Fun is our superpower now. But you know what? After all that action and excitement... I feel like eating something sweet. And looking at something pretty."
Hana meowed loudly in agreement, rubbing against my leg. She was always ready for snacks.
I looked out at the infinite sea of doors floating in the starry void. We had seen so many amazing things—deserts, libraries, machines, data, games... my eyes stopped at one that looked incredibly soft and inviting.
It wasn't made of wood or metal. It was made of something that looked like rose petals and sugar glass. The frame was decorated with patterns of vines, flowers, and dripping honey. It radiated a sweet smell that we could smell even from here, and it felt warm, gentle, and incredibly beautiful.
"That one," I pointed, walking towards it. "It feels... sweet. Romantic."

I reached out and pushed the soft door open.
The moment we stepped through, we were hit with the most amazing sensation.
The air was warm and smelled like vanilla, strawberries, sugar, and fresh flowers.
I opened my eyes and gasped.
We were standing on a pathway made of white chocolate and crushed macadamia nuts. And everywhere we looked... there were flowers. But not normal flowers.
Trees had leaves made of thin wafers and candy. The flowers were huge, blooming with petals that looked like colorful macarons and jelly. The grass was soft like moss and mint leaves. Rivers flowed with hot chocolate and milk tea, and waterfalls of honey cascaded down gentle hills.
And the sky! It was a soft pastel pink and blue, with cotton candy clouds floating slowly by.
"Whoa..." I breathed out, looking around in awe. "Minna-san... we are literally in paradise. This is the world where everything is pretty and tasty!"

"This is my favorite aesthetic ever," Aiko sighed happily, touching a flower that was actually made of soft gummy candy. "Can we eat it?"
"Probably later!" I laughed. "Let's explore first!"
Hana was in heaven. She started rolling around on the flower grass, getting covered in petals and sparkles, looking like the happiest cat in existence.
We started walking along the path. It was peaceful and beautiful. We saw small creatures—bunnies made of marshmallow, butterflies with wings made of stained glass, and birds that sang songs that sounded like wind chimes.
But as we walked deeper towards the center of the realm, where the Grand Rose Palace was supposed to be, the atmosphere started to change.
The bright pastel colors turned pale and grey. The sweet smell turned into a sharp, chemical scent. The soft, beautiful flowers started to wilt and turn into sharp, thorny branches.

The ground under our feet turned hard and bitter.
"No..." I whispered, gripping the Primordial Emblem. "What happened here? It was so beautiful..."
Suddenly, the air turned cold. The flowers around us closed up tightly, hiding away.
And from the shadows of the dead garden, a figure emerged.
It was a woman. She was incredibly beautiful, with long silver hair and eyes that looked like ice crystals. She was wearing a dress made of white porcelain and silver, looking perfect and flawless... but empty.
She looked at us with disdain.
"Ugly..." her voice echoed coldly, sharp and thin. "Everything here is so messy. So sticky. So... imperfect."

She raised her hand, and the beautiful living garden around us instantly turned into stone and metal. The flowers turned into hard crystal sculptures that didn't move or breathe. The rivers froze into solid ice.
"I will make this world perfect!" she declared. "Hard. Cold. Clean. Forever!"
"You can't!" I shouted, feeling angry. "Flowers are beautiful because they grow! Because they bloom! Because they are soft and alive! You turned them into statues!"
"Silence!" Pristine roared. "You are dirty! You are flawed! Now... be erased!"
The battle began.
Lady Pristine was incredibly powerful.
She didn't fight with strength. She fought with purity... but the wrong kind.
She fired beams of white light that were so sharp and intense they cut through anything like lasers. She created armor made of hard porcelain that couldn't be scratched.

I tried to block with a shield of wind, but her attack cut right through it! It almost hit me!
"She's too sharp!" I panted, jumping back. "Nothing can stop her blades!"
Aiko tried to run around her, but the ground turned into slippery ice wherever she stepped. Pristine controlled the space, making it perfect and unapproachable.
"Get away from me!" Pristine shouted, creating thousands of floating mirrors and sharp crystals that surrounded her like a fortress. "Don't touch me! You will make me dirty!"

I raised my hands. I didn't make a sword. I made something else.
I combined the Heart of Blaze with the Gem of Slumber and the power of the viewers.
Warmth.
Softness.
Sweetness.

I created a giant shield made of fluffy pink sugar clouds.
Pristine swung her sharpest blade at me.

I opened my arms wide, and my aura changed. I was surrounded by thousands of blooming flowers, floating hearts, and sparkling sparkles. I looked like the embodiment of sweetness and life.
"YOU CAN'T HIDE FOREVER!" I roared gently. "I KNOW YOU ARE LONELY! YOU BUILT WALLS BECAUSE YOU WERE AFRAID OF GETTING HURT!"
I reached out my hand towards her, through all the sharp defenses.
"LET ME IN!"

The wave of soft energy hit her.
The hard porcelain armor around her started to crack... not from destruction, but from flowers growing underneath! Beautiful roses and vines pushed through the stone, softening it, warming it.
"NOOOOO! I DON'T WANT TO BE SOFT!" she screamed, trying to hold onto her perfection. "I WILL BREAK! I WILL MELT!"
"Then melt!" I shouted back. "Melt into happiness!"
The cold white light in her eyes turned warm and brown. The sharp, angular dress turned into a soft, flowing silk gown. The ice around her melted into warm water that watered the plants.
The entire realm was restored.
The grey world turned into a rainbow of colors again. The flowers bloomed brighter than ever before, smelling sweeter than ever. The rivers flowed with delicious drinks again.
Lady Pristine fell to her knees, looking at her hands, which were now warm and soft.
"I..." she whispered, tears forming in her eyes. "I feel... warm. I forgot what it felt like to be... human."
She looked up at me, smiling shyly. "Thank you... Guardian. You taught me that beauty isn't about being hard. It's about being open."
From the center of the garden, the Core Crystal floated down. It was shaped like a heart made of rose gold and crystal.
'The Gem of Aesthetics,' the voice echoed gently. 'With this, you radiate beauty, charm, and grace. You can make anything look beautiful and feel welcoming.'
I took the gem. It felt wonderful.
Pristine—now looking much more friendly and relaxed—walked up to us.
"Stay for tea?" she asked politely. "I make the best macarons and tea now. I promise... no more freezing people."

"Right?" I grinned, putting the Gem of Aesthetics away. "We have so many powers now. We can handle anything."
I looked at the camera.
"Minna-san, we saved the Sweet World! And we are stronger than ever! The journey continues!"
