The Chaos Beast frowned, staring at the countless humans sticking to its flesh. Without hesitation, it picked one of them up like a tiny insect and observed the man with curiosity.
The enforcer's face became deathly pale as his body rested between the Beast's fingers. Fear took over his heart, the grip on his katana loosening.
The others watched in horror as their comrade was lifted into the air, unable to do anything to stop it.
The Colonel – however – was already on the move. Climbing the monster abomination, he eventually landed on the monster's shoulder. Without hesitation, he dashed forward and raised his katana.
The lustrous blade of the curved sword flashed and drove itself into the Beasts burning crimson eye. The abomination howled in pain, letting the enforcer go.
The man blinked and fell into the water below. Then, the scream of the Colonel echoed through the ears of the rest of the frozen enforcers.
"What are you idiots doing?!"
That was enough to bring them back to reality. Then, they began to climb.
One of them gritted his teeth, tapping into something laying in the depths of his soul. His Will flared and flowed into the katana which became deadly sharp.
He pushed the blade down with all his might, screaming at the top of his lungs. The Chaos Beast shuddered and swung its arm.
The man flew through the air, driving his sword into the abomination's hand. However, he wasn't able to drive it completely through.
Losing his grip on the blade, he began falling towards the water. He blinked. His instincts were screaming at him as if he was in mortal danger.
He thought otherwise. Unknown to the enforcer, in the corner of his eyes, the four-armed abomination curled its hand into a fist and shot it at the enforcer with terrifying speed.
The man's entire skeleton fractured as he met the monster's fist… and his body splattered into mush as he crashed into the Great Eastern Wall.
Suddenly, time seemed to freeze for the enforcer. They looked at their dead comrade in shock and fear. His body slowly slid down the curved slope of the serpentine stone structure, his blood painting the wall's surface.
The Beast looked undeterred, its fist covered in thick red liquid. It's remaining eye burned more furious than before as if, as if… it had been enraged?
However, right then, another emotion stirred at the hearts of the enforcers. Their bodies began to heat up, their jaws clenched, adrenaline rushed through their veins and their eyes ignited with the flame of… rage.
Dreadful scream tore through the air as the enforcers lodged their katanas into the Beasts skin, climbing the monster while trying to cause as much pain as possible.
They had no desire to live at this moment.
Nor did they any fear or doubts.
Not even their hearts ached like before.
Their mind only focused on one thing and one thing alone – Revenge.
The enforcers began tearing the four-armed abomination apart. One of them jumped down and grabbed onto the blade that their dead comrade had embedded into the Beasts arm.
Then, with a primal roar, he pushed down on the blade with all his might, imbuing it will tremendous amounts of Will.
The Beast roared in pain, trying to shake off the Chaos Incarnates. It raised one of its arm, trying to grab the Colonel.
However, the man screamed and cut two of the monster's fingers. Its corrosive blood spilt and mixed with the water below – heating it up.
The four-armed abomination cried out once again, its legs burning.
At that exact moment, the enforcer hanging from one of the monsters arms, drove his dead teammates blade through the Chaos Beast's arm… and severed it from his body.
As the corrosive blood rushed out of the abomination's body, the enforcer lost his grip on the katana. The blade of the curved sword trembled for a few moments before cracks appeared on its steel surface.
More cracks tore through the blade until eventually… the katana shattered.
Instinctively, he glanced down at the water and saw one of his companions screaming at him. The enforcer who had fallen in the water before, turned around and began swimming away – the boiling water burning his skin.
The falling enforcer's eyes widened behind the helmet and quickly turned upward, shielding his body from the corrosive blood. It splashed onto him and fell into the water, causing a massive explosion that sent the enforcer flying.
Fortunately, he landed in the water – unconscious.
The four-armed monster was also thrown off its balance and slowly fell sideways as its cries tore through the air.

The Chaote watched in horror from the watchtower as his teammates fought the Chaos Beast. The mundane soldiers standing beside him trembled with fear, slowly backing away.
Once the abomination fell, he gulped, a pang of fear lingering in his heart.
'Damn!'
The man felt horrified but also a bit happy. Happy that he wasn't in this confrontation and thus, didn't have to risk his life.
However, the death of his teammates still left a bad taste in him.
Right then, Albert's voice rang through his earbud.
"The Fragment's been located!" The General shouted as if in a hurry.
The Chaote quickly pressed his earbud, morphing it into the meta-glasses. Instantly, his field of vision was covered by holograms. The information from the control room was sent over and Mythos began searching for the Fragment.
After a while, the AI's voice finally brought some good news.
[Chaos Fragment located.]
His eyes dilated.
[Distance: 1 KM.]
A square appeared in the location the Chaos Fragment was supposed to be. Then, Mythos activated the Chaos detection feature of the Meta glasses and outlined the Fragment itself.
The Chaote could now clearly see his target. So, without any more hesitation, he began casting the Chaos sealing array.
His Will flowed out from his finger tips, shaping the raw Chaos around him into thin, grey strings. With extreme precision, he hands painted multiple shapes, each connect to another with a thin line.
Within those shapes, he wrote letters using a strange and ancient language that seemed to give Chaos meaning – giving it a purpose to enact upon.
Finally, he completed the array. Flicking his head towards to the Chaos Beast which had fallen onto its side and now trying to get up, he screamed at the top of his lungs and sent a voice message to his comrades.
"RUN!"
The Meta glasses pinged and sent it to the enforcers, automatically playing his scream. They froze and lingered for a moment before escaping.
The Abomination shuddered, watching the Incarnates swim away as the water beneath his feet boiled. Confused, it stared at them blankly for a few moments before sensing a surge of Chaos nearby. Turning its head slightly, it saw the Choate shooting the array at the chasm in the sea.
The array wrapped itself around the Chaos Fragment, snapping its two ends together. It spun around the rift rapidly like a tornado, causing the Fragment to tremble. Finally, the array began to shrink and the Chaos Fragment began to close.
Reality stitched itself back together and the void in the ocean vanished without a trace.
The next second, every Chaos Beast bloated and exploded in countless fragments. Their bones, viscera and corrosive blood met the ocean, causing multiple steam explosion to ring out across the vicinity.
The enforcers gasped for air, reaching the base of the Great Eastern Wall. Covering their ears, they watched the Chaos Beasts explode with a grim expression.
The Chaote fell to the floor, gasping for air as cold sweat rolled down his face. The soldiers beside him celebrated, cheering the enforcers.
In the Scorpion – 017, Albert let out a grim chuckle.
"Finally…"
