The ground shook violently as what seemed to be a stampede of gigantic centipedes raced after the party.
"EEEEEKKK! WAAAAAA!"
Sonya was on her horse backwards staring at the centipedes.
"I JUST WANTED TO HAVE A GOOD REST!!!"
Looking behind himself Haro could see that the centipedes were moving at great speeds, even outpacing the horses they were riding. The only reason they weren't dead right now though was because Haro and the party had a head start.
Haro rode up near Sonya to speak to her.
"Sonya! Is there anything you can do about this?!"
Sonya sat back on her horse properly and held onto it's neck as she sniffled.
"I-I mean maybe.. But I don't like creepy critters.."
"Damn it..!"
Haro gritted his teeth at her response
I would've never though Sonya could get scared, it isn't very godly.
Haro then thought about what Sonya used to say in his streams whenever there was a monster, she did say "eek" and all so really it was his fault for assuming she WOULDN'T be scared.

"Sayaka!"
Hearing Haro, Sayaka rode up near him.
"It's clear that in a matter of seconds those centipedes are going to swallow all three of us up, so we gotta use everything we got!"
Haro help up his palm in front of him.
"Shop!"
The stream shop's blue interface appeared, this was now his second time utilizing it.
"We are going to have to use some of our money to survive this encounter!"
Haro scrolled through the shop, clicking through multiple items.

Haro clicked yes and the next second two bows appeared along with 2 bags that had fifteen arrows in each. Haro handed Sayaka a bow and a bag of arrows.
"These should be enough to scare off ones that get too close!"
Behind them one centipede had gone faster than it's pack, getting close to the party of two humans and a god.
"Speak of the devil.."
Haro, with his bow in hand, used his other hand to grab an arrow. The tip of the arrow was not a pyramid shape but a small sphere.
He aimed at the centipede, waiting for the perfect moment to strike.
That's when.
Fwoop!
The centipede jumped into the air to dive at Haro but when he shot the bow it emitted a sound wave which was deafening. It was enough to scare off the centipede and make it retreat.
"What was that?!"
Sayaka looked at him, awaiting an answer, but Haro simply smirked.
"These aren't your standard arrows, these specific arrows are specially made out of Orb Monsters."
Sayaka tilted her head to the side in confusion.
"Orb Monsters... You don't mean..?"
"Yes, Orb Monsters, like the one I fought back in Shinjuku at the streamer meetup. The tip of the arrow is the head of an Orb Monster baby, shooting it causes the orb to activate and emit their god-awful sound."

"Dammit! I'm sorry Haro, I thought we were in the clear-!"
Haro started riding up to Sonya.
"Lets continue this conversation when we get out of here! For now could you focus on keeping them back while I have a talk with Sayaka!?"
Sayaka stayed a bit back from the two as she fended off any centipedes that got close.
"Sonya, please. Those bow and arrows costed quite a bit and we haven't gotten any stream ads! We need your powers to help us."
She sniffled, face buried into the horses neck.
"But whyyy?"
"What happened to our promise?!"
After hearing that, Sonya lifted her head up from the horses, her face was drowned in tears as a little bit of snot came out of her nose.
"I want to fulfill my promise! But I'm scared! I'm scared of those things!"
"Sayaka is out there fighting for her life right now, fighting for ours! I'm not scared of death and I don't think you are either based off the fact that you're a god, but Sayaka does care! Sayaka cares whether she lives or dies! She cares if we die!"
Sonya stopped crying, she just stared at him as he spoke.
"I don't care if I die right now, I'd be fine with it! But Sayaka shouldn't have to die with us! I told you to listen to Sayaka, to listen to what she said! And you agreed! Now she wants to live so are you going to listen to me or not!"
Sonya started wiping her face with her arm then stoop up on her horse facing backwards.
She began glowing a bight yellow colour, she shined so brightly that looking directly at her would hurt ones eyes.
She then lifted he hands upwards and a giant wall made out of the ground below them rose up, creating a wall between them and the centipedes.
"You did it! You actually did it!"

That's when they saw it, a centipede bigger than the rest ended up leaping over the wall and started being dragged down to the ground by gravity.
And it just so happened that because Sayaka was behind, she was going to become collateral to the centipedes impact back into the earth.a
