Chapter 8 - Find The Girls

The spider edged ever so closer, drooling at the sight of Haro.

Stream Objective:

Locate and secure soul bounded partner.

"Looookiiiiiiiiiii.."

The spider grumbled a name, it's voice was devilish and shaky.

"Looooookiiiiiii..."

Haro trembled as he watched the spider come closer with every second.

"Sayaka! Sonya! Where the hell are you guys?!"

Haro wanted to fight that spider, he wanted to fight it to generate views but even Haro wasn't dumb enough to try that. Without access to the shop and no Contracts of Power, Haro was just your everyday human.

The spider stopped marching towards Haro. It shook and pulsated, with time it gradually pulsed faster. It seemed like the spider was having a seizure.

It eventually ended up reaching it's climax which resulted in the spider bursting.

From the spiders corpse that now lay in the middle of the street, hundreds if not thousands of regular sized spiders crawled out of it's sack.

"What the hell is going on..?!"

The spiders death was good but the little spiders did not seem to head for Haro, instead they ran away from Haro.

Viewer #12453 - "You need to find the others, now!"

Cupping his chin in his hand, Haro started thinking about the other two that were in his party.

When we walked through the fog barrier, I wonder if we all got separated or if it was just me.. Worse case scenario is that we all got dropped into random locations inside the barrier.

The though scared Haro, making him sweat nervously.

I'm sure Sonya could hold her own against the horrors in here, but Sayaka on the other hand could be in real danger, fatal danger..

Stream Notification:

Navigation Activated!

"Hm?"

On the hand that had the star symbol from Sonya, a yellow, floating, digital compass appeared. When he held the palm of his hand up it pointed towards a certain location.

Stream Navigation:

Location - Sonya

"I see, so being soul bound means I can find you at any time, Sonya.."

Haro smirked.

"Maybe the Eight Legged Hell won't be so hard after all!"

Multiple growls came out of nowhere, a deafening amount just as Haro was walking away. He looked behind to see hundreds of spiders, as big as the first one he saw, all running up to him.

"Looookiiiiiii.."

They all said the name 'Loki' in unison as they charged at Haro, all with the sole objective of easting him alive.

Haro began running down the street, his feet hitting the pavement hard. He watched the dial on the hand of the digital navigator that supposedly directed him toward Sonya.

The shrieks and cries from the spiders became almost deafening.

"Loooookiiiiii..."

He looked over his should as he ran and the spiders were going at such a fast speed that they were crashing into each other.

When he took another turn on the street, that's when he saw it. Another wall of black smoke.

The hand on the Navigator pointed directly at the fog, meaning that wherever Sonya was, she was past the fog in front of him.

He stopped at the face of the fog, scared that he might be brought to a random area of Eight Legged Hell.

I gotta have trust.. I gotta have trust in Sonya..!

Before the spiders could reach and devour Haro, he clenched his hands and gritted his teeth as he ran straight through the wall of fog.

It was dark again, worse than before.

Having the guidance of Sonya's horse really helped before.. But now all I can do is run aimlessly through the smoke.

His feet slammed the ground but he didn't know what it was, he couldn't tell how low he had been running. Whether it was ten seconds or ten hours, he could not tell how long it had been.

A bright light shone through the fog, mustering everything Haro had he jumped forward and escaped the time dilated fog.

When he blinked he came to again. He was now in a field of long grass that stretched for miles.

Looking at his palm, the navigator pointed directly north and when he looked up he saw two familiar girls in the distance.

Cupping his hands together, he used every ounce of his strength to get their attention.

"Sayakaaaaaa! Sonyaaaaaaaa! I'm over hereeeeeeeee!"

Haro then waved his hand in the sky.

The girls seemed to be jumping up and down, yelling, but their voices couldn't reach Haro.

"I can't hear youuuuu!"

That's when what seemed to be a ray of light flashed past Haro, with it's origin being the tip of Sonya's index finger.

It was clear.

There is something behind me.

Haro slowly turned back to see something horrifying. It was the hundreds of spiders from before, but now they weren't acting independently. The had all clenched together to become an amalgamation which took the shape of a giant spider.

It started racing toward Haro, more determined as ever.

"LOOOOOOKIIIIIIIIIII...!"

"It keeps chanting that name, over and over.. But what they hell does it mean..?!"

Haro raced forward, pushing himself beyond his human limits.

"Whatever it's trying to say... I can make sense of it later..! Right now, I gotta make it to Sonya and Sayaka or else I'll never get the answer to that question..!"

He saw the girls in the distance now on the horses they entered the Eight Legged Hell with.

They ran close enough to Haro so that he could hear them speak.

"We found a exit! A hole in the area! We gotta get out before it closes!"

Sayaka took lead and grabbed Haro by his hood.

The horse ran violently and fast toward the exit, and Haro was hanging behind it watching the spider amalgamation get closer and closer.

"It's coming! Push harder!"

Sayaka stared back at Haro.

"I-I can't! It won't go any faster!"

The amalgamation was closing in more and more with each second.

Viewer #11256 - "Is this really the end?!"

Viewer #9684 - "Gg, for what it was worth this streamer was a good one."

Viewer #15000 - "RIP RIP RIP RIP"

Haro raised his hand, pinched the horse's behind and twisted with every bit of strength he had.

The horse cried out, and because of that pain it pushed further and further until.

Sayaka, the horse and Haro flew through the pocket of the Exit just before it closed, and had escaped what seemed to be certain death by the hands of a spider amalgamation.
