🌿 Birth and Noble Lineage
Prophet Ya'qub (AS) was the son of Ishaq (AS) and the grandson of Ibrahim (AS). This was a blessed and honored family chosen by Allah to guide humanity.
From a young age, Ya'qub (AS) was gentle, kind, and deeply devoted to Allah. His character reflected humility and righteousness. His father, Ishaq (AS), loved him dearly and raised him with strong teachings of faith and obedience to Allah.
🌸 The Name "Israel"
Ya'qub (AS) was also known as "Israel," which means "Servant of Allah" or "One who struggles in the path of Allah." His descendants became known as Bani Israel, through whom many prophets were later sent.
This name was not just an identity—it carried a great responsibility, as his lineage played a major role in spreading Allah's message.
💫 Special Blessings from Allah
Allah blessed Ya'qub (AS) with many qualities. He was extremely patient, calm, and always relied on Allah in every situation.
No matter how much pain he faced, he never lost hope. He would often turn to Allah and express his sorrow only to Him.
His famous expression reflects his deep faith:
"I only complain of my suffering and grief to Allah."
👨👦 Family and Children
Ya'qub (AS) had many sons. Among them was the beloved Yusuf (AS), known as Prophet Yusuf.
Although he loved all his children, his love for Yusuf (AS) was especially strong. Yusuf (AS) was extremely beautiful, gentle, and intelligent.
This special affection later became the cause of jealousy among his other sons—leading to a major turning point in their lives.
🌙 The Dream of Yusuf (AS)
One day, young Yusuf (AS) saw a remarkable dream. He saw eleven stars, along with the sun and the moon, bowing down to him.
He shared this dream with his father. Ya'qub (AS) immediately understood that it was a significant vision—a sign of Yusuf's future greatness.
He advised him:
"My dear son, do not tell this dream to your brothers, or they may plot against you."
This shows the wisdom and care of a loving father.
⚠️ The Brothers' Jealousy
The brothers of Yusuf (AS) began to feel jealous. They noticed their father's strong love for Yusuf and his younger brother.
They said among themselves:
"Why is Yusuf more beloved to our father than us, while we are a stronger group?"
This jealousy slowly darkened their hearts. They began planning something terrible—something no brother should ever do.
🕳️ A Dangerous Plan
One day, they decided to remove Yusuf (AS) from their lives.
Some suggested killing him, while others proposed leaving him in a distant place. Finally, they agreed to throw him into a deep well.
They thought that by doing this, their father's love would return fully to them.
😢 Asking Permission from Their Father
They went to Ya'qub (AS) and said:
"O our father, why don't you trust us with Yusuf? Send him with us so he can play and enjoy."
Ya'qub (AS) hesitated. He felt an unexplained fear in his heart.
He said:
"I fear that a wolf may eat him while you are unaware."
But they insisted:
"If a wolf eats him while we are many, then we would truly be losers."
Reluctantly, Ya'qub (AS) allowed Yusuf (AS) to go with them.
💔 Thrown into the Well
The next day, they took Yusuf (AS) far away and threw him into a deep well.
The young boy was left alone in darkness. It was a moment of fear and helplessness—but Allah was with him.
Allah inspired him with hope:
"One day, you will inform them of this deed, and they will not even realize it."
🩸 The False Story
At night, the brothers returned home pretending to cry.
They said:
"We went racing and left Yusuf with our belongings, and a wolf came and ate him."
They even brought his shirt stained with false blood as proof.
😭 The Patience of Ya'qub (AS)
Hearing this, Ya'qub (AS) was heartbroken. His soul was filled with pain, but he sensed the lie.
He said:
"Rather, your souls have enticed you to something. So patience is most fitting for me. And Allah is the One whose help is sought."
This patience was extraordinary. He cried deeply, but never complained against Allah.

হযরত ইয়াকুব (আ.) – ধৈর্য ও ভালোবাসার আলো (প্রথম পর্ব)
Ya'qub (Jacob) আলাইহিস সালাম ছিলেন আল্লাহর একজন মহান নবী, যিনি ধৈর্য, ভালোবাসা এবং আল্লাহর উপর অটল ভরসার এক উজ্জ্বল উদাহরণ। তাঁর জীবন কাহিনী শুধু একটি গল্প নয়—এটি এমন এক শিক্ষা, যা মানুষের হৃদয়কে নরম করে এবং ঈমানকে দৃঢ় করে তোলে।
🌿 জন্ম ও বংশ পরিচয়
হযরত ইয়াকুব (আ.) ছিলেন মহান নবী Ishaq (আ.)-এর পুত্র এবং Ibrahim (আ.)-এর নাতি। তাঁর বংশ ছিল অত্যন্ত সম্মানিত ও পবিত্র। আল্লাহ তাআলা এই পরিবারকে বিশেষভাবে নির্বাচিত করেছিলেন, যাতে তারা মানবজাতির জন্য পথপ্রদর্শক হতে পারেন।
ইয়াকুব (আ.) ছোটবেলা থেকেই অত্যন্ত নম্র, ভদ্র এবং আল্লাহভীরু ছিলেন। তাঁর চরিত্র ছিল কোমল, আর হৃদয় ছিল আল্লাহর ভালোবাসায় পরিপূর্ণ। তাঁর পিতা ইসহাক (আ.) তাঁকে খুব ভালোবাসতেন এবং ছোটবেলা থেকেই তাঁকে দ্বীনের শিক্ষা দিতেন।
🌸 তাঁর আরেক নাম "ইসরাঈল"
ইয়াকুব (আ.)-এর আরেকটি নাম ছিল "ইসরাঈল"। এই নামের অর্থ "আল্লাহর বান্দা" বা "যিনি আল্লাহর পথে সংগ্রাম করেন"। তাঁর বংশধরদের বলা হয় "বনী ইসরাঈল"—যারা পরবর্তীতে অনেক নবী-রাসূলের আগমন ঘটিয়েছে।
এই নাম শুধু একটি পরিচয় নয়, বরং একটি দায়িত্বও ছিল। কারণ তাঁর বংশের মানুষদের মাধ্যমে আল্লাহর বাণী পৃথিবীর বিভিন্ন প্রান্তে ছড়িয়ে পড়ে।
💫 আল্লাহর বিশেষ নিয়ামত
আল্লাহ তাআলা ইয়াকুব (আ.)-কে অসংখ্য নিয়ামত দান করেছিলেন। তিনি ছিলেন অত্যন্ত ধৈর্যশীল, সহনশীল এবং আল্লাহর প্রতি গভীরভাবে অনুগত। তাঁর জীবনে যতই কষ্ট আসুক না কেন, তিনি কখনো আল্লাহর উপর ভরসা হারাননি।
তিনি সবসময় বলতেন—
"আমি আমার দুঃখ-কষ্টের কথা শুধু আল্লাহর কাছেই বলি।"
এই একটি বাক্যই তাঁর ঈমানের গভীরতা প্রকাশ করে।
👨👦 পরিবার ও সন্তান
ইয়াকুব (আ.)-এর অনেক সন্তান ছিল। তাঁদের মধ্যে সবচেয়ে বিখ্যাত ছিলেন Yusuf (আ.), যাকে আমরা হযরত ইউসুফ (আ.) নামে চিনি।
ইয়াকুব (আ.) তাঁর সব সন্তানকেই ভালোবাসতেন, কিন্তু ইউসুফ (আ.)-এর প্রতি তাঁর ভালোবাসা ছিল একটু বেশি। কারণ ইউসুফ (আ.) ছিলেন অত্যন্ত সুন্দর, নম্র ও বুদ্ধিমান।
এই বিষয়টি তাঁর অন্য সন্তানদের মাঝে হিংসার সৃষ্টি করেছিল—যা পরবর্তীতে একটি বড় ঘটনার সূচনা করে।
🌙 ইউসুফ (আ.)-এর স্বপ্ন
একদিন ছোট ইউসুফ (আ.) একটি আশ্চর্য স্বপ্ন দেখলেন। তিনি দেখলেন—১১টি তারা, সূর্য এবং চাঁদ তাঁকে সেজদা করছে।
এই স্বপ্নটি তিনি তাঁর পিতা ইয়াকুব (আ.)-কে বললেন। ইয়াকুব (আ.) বুঝতে পারলেন যে এটি একটি বিশেষ স্বপ্ন—এটি ভবিষ্যতে ইউসুফ (আ.)-এর উচ্চ মর্যাদা ও সম্মানের ইঙ্গিত।
তখন তিনি ইউসুফ (আ.)-কে বললেন—
"হে আমার প্রিয় পুত্র, তুমি এই স্বপ্ন তোমার ভাইদের কাছে বলো না। তারা তোমার বিরুদ্ধে ষড়যন্ত্র করতে পারে।"
এই কথার মধ্যেই একজন পিতার দূরদর্শিতা ও ভালোবাসা প্রকাশ পায়।
⚠️ ভাইদের হিংসা
ইয়াকুব (আ.)-এর অন্য ছেলেরা দেখল যে তাদের পিতা ইউসুফ (আ.)-কে বেশি ভালোবাসেন। এতে তারা ঈর্ষান্বিত হয়ে পড়ল।
তারা একে অপরের সাথে আলোচনা করতে লাগল—
"ইউসুফ আর তার ভাই (বিনইয়ামিন) আমাদের চেয়ে বেশি প্রিয় কেন? আমরা তো সংখ্যায় বেশি!"
এই হিংসা ধীরে ধীরে তাদের হৃদয়কে অন্ধ করে ফেলল। তারা এমন এক পরিকল্পনা করতে শুরু করল, যা একজন ভাই কখনো আরেক ভাইয়ের জন্য করতে পারে না।
🕳️ ভয়ংকর পরিকল্পনা
একদিন তারা সিদ্ধান্ত নিল—ইউসুফ (আ.)-কে দূরে সরিয়ে দিতে হবে।
কেউ বলল তাকে হত্যা করতে, আবার কেউ বলল তাকে কোনো দূর জায়গায় ফেলে আসতে। শেষ পর্যন্ত তারা ঠিক করল—তাকে একটি কূপে (গভীর কুয়া) ফেলে রেখে আসবে।
তারা ভাবল, এতে করে তাদের পিতার ভালোবাসা শুধু তাদের জন্য হয়ে যাবে।
😢 পিতার কাছে অনুমতি চাওয়া
তারা ইয়াকুব (আ.)-এর কাছে এসে বলল—
"হে আমাদের পিতা, আপনি কেন ইউসুফকে আমাদের সাথে খেলতে পাঠান না? আমরা তো তার ভালো চাই।"
ইয়াকুব (আ.) প্রথমে রাজি হননি। তাঁর মনে একটা অজানা ভয় কাজ করছিল।
তিনি বললেন—
"আমি ভয় পাচ্ছি, তোমরা যদি তাকে নিয়ে যাও, কোনো নেকড়ে তাকে খেয়ে ফেলতে পারে।"
কিন্তু ছেলেরা জোর করে তাকে রাজি করাল। তারা বলল—
"আমরা এতজন আছি, তবুও যদি নেকড়ে তাকে খায়, তাহলে আমরা তো ব্যর্থ!"
অবশেষে ইয়াকুব (আ.) কষ্টের সাথে অনুমতি দিলেন।
💔 কূপে ফেলে আসা
পরদিন তারা ইউসুফ (আ.)-কে নিয়ে বের হলো। নির্জন স্থানে পৌঁছে তারা তাকে কূপে ফেলে দিল।
ছোট ইউসুফ (আ.) তখন অসহায় অবস্থায় কূপের অন্ধকারে পড়ে রইলেন। কিন্তু আল্লাহ তাঁর সাথে ছিলেন।
আল্লাহ তাঁর অন্তরে প্রেরণা দিলেন—
"একদিন তুমি তাদের এই কাজের কথা জানাবে, আর তারা তখন বুঝতেও পারবে না।"
🩸 মিথ্যা গল্প
ভাইয়েরা রাতে বাড়ি ফিরে এলো এবং কাঁদার অভিনয় করতে লাগল।
তারা বলল—
"আমরা দৌড় প্রতিযোগিতা করছিলাম, ইউসুফকে আমাদের জিনিসপত্রের কাছে রেখে গিয়েছিলাম। তখন একটি নেকড়ে এসে তাকে খেয়ে ফেলেছে!"
তারা একটি মিথ্যা প্রমাণও নিয়ে এলো—ইউসুফ (আ.)-এর জামায় মিথ্যা রক্ত লাগিয়ে।
😭 ইয়াকুব (আ.)-এর ধৈর্য
এই কথা শুনে ইয়াকুব (আ.) ভেঙে পড়লেন। তাঁর হৃদয় ছিন্নভিন্ন হয়ে গেল। কিন্তু তিনি জানতেন—এটা একটি মিথ্যা গল্প।
তিনি বললেন—
"বরং তোমাদের মন তোমাদেরকে একটি কাজ সুন্দর করে দেখিয়েছে। তাই আমি ধৈর্য ধারণ করব। আর আল্লাহর কাছেই সাহায্য চাই।"
এই ধৈর্য ছিল অসাধারণ। তিনি কাঁদতেন, কিন্তু কখনো আল্লাহর উপর অভিযোগ করতেন না।
🌌 শিক্ষা
এই প্রথম পর্ব থেকেই আমরা অনেক শিক্ষা পাই—
পিতার ভালোবাসা কত গভীর হতে পারে
হিংসা মানুষের হৃদয়কে কিভাবে অন্ধ করে
আল্লাহর উপর ভরসা রাখলে তিনি কখনো কাউকে একা ছেড়ে দেন না
ধৈ,র্যই সবচেয়ে বড় শক্তি
