Chapter 23 - Title: The Silent Du’a

Amina had always been the kind of girl people admired from a distance but rarely understood.

She was kind—almost too kind. She helped her classmates with their studies, stayed up late to listen to her friends' problems, and never hesitated to give what little she had to someone in need. If someone forgot their lunch, she shared hers. If someone felt lonely, she sat beside them. If someone cried, she was the first to wipe their tears.

But there was something no one noticed.

Whenever Amina was the one hurting… there was no one there.

At first, she didn't mind. She believed that kindness always came back. She thought that one day, someone would sit beside her the way she sat beside others. Someone would listen to her the way she listened.

But life didn't work the way she imagined.

One by one, the people she trusted began to disappear when she needed them the most. Friends who once called her "best" suddenly became too busy. People she had supported forgot her existence when she was struggling.

And slowly, something inside her started to break.

🌧️ The Breaking Point

One evening, everything fell apart.

Amina had worked for months on something she deeply cared about—an opportunity that she believed would change her life. She gave it her time, her energy, and her hope. But in the end, it slipped away from her hands.

Just like that.

No explanation. No second chance.

That night, she felt an emptiness she had never felt before. It wasn't just disappointment—it was exhaustion. The kind that comes from always being strong for everyone else.

She picked up her phone, scrolling through her contacts.

So many names.

Yet no one to call.

Her fingers hovered over the screen, but she couldn't press any name. Because deep down, she already knew… no one would truly understand.

Tears slowly rolled down her cheeks as she whispered to herself,

"Why does it always feel like I'm alone?"

🌙 The Silent Du'a

That night, Amina did something different.

Instead of reaching out to people, she turned off her phone. She wiped her tears and quietly stood up. The room was dark, silent—just like her heart.

She raised her hands.

Not in front of anyone.

Not for attention.

Not for sympathy.

But only for Allah.

Her voice trembled as she spoke softly,

"Ya Allah… I won't tell anyone what I'm feeling."

A tear fell onto her hands.

"You already know what's in my heart."

She paused, struggling to breathe through her emotions.

"I'm tired… but I trust You. If this pain is part of Your plan, then help me stay patient. And if something better is written for me, then guide me to it."

There was no long speech.

No perfect words.

Just sincerity.

Just silence.

Just a broken heart speaking to its Creator.

And for the first time in a long time… she felt something strange.

Peace.

🌅 The Unexpected Change

The next few days were… different.

Nothing dramatic happened overnight. The world didn't suddenly become perfect. But something inside Amina began to shift.

She stopped expecting people to understand her.

She stopped waiting for others to fix her pain.

Instead, she kept her struggles between her and Allah.

Whenever she felt overwhelmed, she made du'a.

Whenever she felt alone, she prayed.

Whenever she felt weak, she reminded herself—Allah is enough.

And slowly… things started to change.

🌟 Small Miracles

One day, a teacher who had never noticed her before suddenly appreciated her work in front of the entire class.

Another day, she received an unexpected message about a new opportunity—something even better than what she had lost.

Even the people who once ignored her began to treat her differently. Some apologized. Some tried to reconnect.

But the most beautiful change wasn't around her.

It was within her.

Her heart felt lighter.

Her mind felt calmer.

She realized something powerful:

The peace she was searching for in people…

was always with Allah.

💬 A Simple Question

One afternoon, her mother noticed the change.

"You seem different these days," she said gently.

"More peaceful. More… content."

Amina smiled softly.

"How did you do it?" her mother asked.

For a moment, Amina stayed quiet.

Then she replied,

"I stopped telling people everything."

Her mother looked confused. "Then who did you tell?"

Amina's eyes sparkled slightly as she answered,

"I told Allah."

🔥 The Real Test

But life wasn't over.

And peace didn't mean problems would disappear.

A few weeks later, Amina faced another challenge—this time, even harder than before. It was something that shook her deeply, something that could easily break her again.

For a moment, the old feelings returned.

The loneliness.

The fear.

The urge to cry to someone.

She sat quietly, holding her tears.

This was her test.

Would she go back to seeking comfort from people…

or would she hold onto what she had learned?

Her heart whispered the answer.

She stood up once again.

Raised her hands.

And made another silent du'a.

🌙 The Strength of Silence

This time, her voice was steadier.

"Ya Allah… I've been here before. You didn't leave me then… and I know You won't leave me now."

Her tears fell again—but they felt different.

They weren't just tears of pain.

They were tears of trust.

Days passed… and once again, Allah opened doors she never expected. Not always the doors she wanted—but always the ones she needed.

And Amina understood something deeper than ever before:

Sometimes, Allah doesn't remove your problems immediately…

because He wants you to come closer to Him through them.

💡 The Lesson

People will come and go.

Some will stay for a while.

Some will leave without warning.

Some will forget everything you did for them.

But Allah…

Allah never forgets.

Every silent tear.

Every hidden pain.

Every unspoken word.

He knows it all.

And when you choose to tell Him instead of the world…

He responds in ways the world never can.

🌟 Final Words

Amina didn't become someone without struggles.

She became someone who knew where to take her struggles.

She still helped others.

She still cared deeply.

But now, she had something stronger than before—

A connection with Allah that no one could take away.

And whenever life felt heavy, she remembered:

"The du'a you keep between you and Allah…

is the one that changes your life the most."💓
